Turq if you can't get an opener you could use a bit of gauze/paper towel to snap the vials. Just fold it over a few times and snap it off confidently. Do the vials have a scored line or a dot on showing you the weakest part to snap? Preparing the drugs is the easiest part for me as I'm a nurse, working up the courage to inject myself is a whole other problem....

cups I reckon it is AF. Am due today but the spotting has been a bit longer and more drawn out than normal. Am starting to feel a bit crampy too. Maybe it's the mental stress of the anticipation of next FET! I imagine doctor will have a look with dildo cam tomorrow...

I've got an old friend coming to visit for the day who I've not seen in 4 years. I've let the friendship slide as she was living far away and having lots of children so it was just another person I could avoid telling our sorry story to. I'm sort of dreading today even though she's a lovely person and was once my best friend. I'm not looking forward to the inevitable questions about kids

It's just the fact that I'm only 28 and have 1 failed IVF and 2 failed FETs behind me and the doctors seem completely clueless as to why! It makes no sense and if someone tells me 'it's a lottery' one more time I'm going to slap them with a flip flop (a hard one)

I'm in the pharmacy of doom again waiting for more stimming drugs. They have only charged me £7.85 for three days worth. Bargain!!

I have 5 follicles now. An improvement from one on Monday, just shows how quickly things can change. EC should be Wednesday now.

I know how you feel wish. How many more 'Lottery' goes can I put myself through. 2 ivf & 1 FET later & my clinic are none the wiser. I am an old bird though :-(

I'm not sure whether my age is making a difference though brooker. I'm broken somewhere but they won't find where because I am young. It does get harder doesn't it. I'm stronger when dealing with the disappointment but in terms of going through it all again, I'm exhausted!!!

marypops it turns out that I'm off to see Jack Whitehall in Birmingham tonight so at least that'll cheer me up. Laughter is the best medicine hey
