Sorry to hear that linda. You're welcome to stick around if you don't want to stand at the bus stop on your own!

lindamagoo · 07/03/2014 10:18

Thanks Spotti I think I'll do that, wouldn't be able to resist checking in on everyone anyway. Good luck to you all x

Treaclepie19 · 07/03/2014 10:33

Sorry to hear that linda :(

After some advice ladies, been to the doctor this morning. Got a viral infection. Hes given me some cough medicine as they cant do anything else with viral infections but it wasnt my normal doctor so forgot to say I was TTC. Well, didnt think it would be a problem.
The bottle says not to take if ttc and to ask your doctor. Rang thd pharmacy and they said its fine if ttc but not if pregnant.
Anyone got any knowledge on this one?

Choccywoccydodah · 07/03/2014 10:44

So I'm 7dpo, no spotting yet.

Choccy, if it makes you feel any better, I have just eaten cake with chocolate spread on it. It was meant to be for Saturday (to celebrate/commiserate my BFP/AF) but I couldn't resist because I knew it was in the house! I blame all of the waiting...

Choccywoccydodah · 07/03/2014 11:25

Ooooo spotti, they sounds gooooooood!
I've just eaten a bag a revels too, damn you Sainsbury's for having chocolate for £1!!

Hello,

Not sure if this is allowed, as I have not posted on this thread yet, but I've got a second faint line on 3 tests today (currently 10dpo) and had to tell someone!

PolytheneGirl · 07/03/2014 11:41

Hands up! I'm not a teacher but I do work in the EYFS which I love and makes me incredibly broody on a daily basis.

Thanks For Linda. Fx for next cycle.

Lemon, don't give up hope. My dh's cousin was told she had a mc at 5 wks, she went for a follow up scan a few weeks later and the pg was fine!

Well it's the 12th anniversary of the day DH asked me out today. So looking forward to a nice meal out tonight. Something nice to take my mind off this bloomin' tww!!

lindamagoo · 07/03/2014 11:51

Congrats Seeking Thanks

Thanks Poly, I'm positive about next cycle, I knew this month wasn't mine so not so down and I'm going to enjoy quite a few glasses of Wine with family the next two weekends then get down to some serious baby making Smile

katecupoftea · 07/03/2014 11:57

seekingsense of course it's fine! As long as it's okay that we use your BFP in our 31 challenge! Congrats!!

Hazelbrowneyes · 07/03/2014 12:06

Not a teacher!

Coming to the end of AF and my IC OPKs and thermometer arrived today Grin Just waiting on my plastic cup to arrive now.

Going to test my thermometer tomorrow but leave the OPKs for a few days.

Been a really light AF with barely any cramps. Nipples still tingling which is rather off putting!

I might have to see the doc though. Throughout most of my cycle I get a pain deep inside my pelvis. I'm worried it's PID or a cyst. Going to give it another week or so and then go to see him if it's not gone.

LemonDrizzler · 07/03/2014 12:08

Thanks poly - enjoy your anniversary! :)

Congrats seeking!

MrBsMrsB · 07/03/2014 12:25

Hands Up
Not a teacher. I too work in an office.

kitty I have added you to the list and will update before I leave work today.

Seekingsense
Welcome & Congratulations on the lines - will you be FRER'ing?

Allthequeens How are you doing?

I'm sure this has been asked and answered already but who is poas this weekend? Seeing a BFN is torturous. Tbh, I'd rather see AF without a series of BFNs beforehand and so I've decided NO to pre af testing. I'll only test once I believe her to be late.

I don't know where everyone is located but apparently the weather in London (and surrounding) is supposed to be lovely on Sunday. Planning something for the day may help the next couple days go by quite quickly.

Hi I'm MrBsMrsB, would like to be MrBsMrsBandTwinnieBs. CD27 and 13dpo. I've managed not to test and feel like there will be fewer tears and less disappointment if AF just shows up without me having to deal with a BFN beforehand

Choccywoccydodah · 07/03/2014 12:38

Come on mrsb, tomorrow IS the day you're gonna get your BFP!!!! Smile

bellaboo88 · 07/03/2014 12:40

Oh god, had a moment of madness, poas & bfn. Whhyyy did I do it?!

No more testing till I've missed AF..what's the point!

Feeling angry at dp now, I don't care if he was dying, he refused sexytime when I needed him....mad!! If this isn't my month, its a long two month wait for me & no bellaboo babies till 2015 :-( x

Nordicmom · 07/03/2014 12:51

We'll soon need another thread again :)...

LemonDrizzler · 07/03/2014 13:14

Hmm just took another test ( I know it's not the weekend yet but just wanted to know!) and it is still positive and doesn't look any fainter. Soooo confused. On top of that I feel really sick and boobs still sore. Still brown spotting though - 5 days now. :(

I can't tell if test was darker - if it was it's not by much. How much darker should it be getting if it were sticking?

EnglishGirlAbroad · 07/03/2014 13:37

Congrats Seeking!!! Grin

Fx the got it wrong Lemon. When I had my early mc I had brown spotting for 2 days before it turned red and was obvious I was losing it. I also had cramps.
Spotting is relatively normal though. Maybe go back to the docs for another blood test to see if hcg is rising.

Hope you get your BFP MrBsMrs! Are you going to test tomorrow?

MrBsMrsB · 07/03/2014 14:11

Choccy & English

If I can get through today and overnight with no AF, I'll very hesitantly avoid using fmu. DH and I are out during the day tomorrow and have some friends over in the evening.... which will fx take me to Sunday morning - at which point she will be late and I will test.

This cycle and next cycle are my last chances at a 2014 baby and I WILL HAVE A 2014 BABY I WILL HAVE A 2014 BABY I WILL HAVE A 2014 BABY I WILL HAVE A 2014 BABY I WILL HAVE A 2014 BABY

Choccywoccydodah · 07/03/2014 14:16

Never thought about that mrsb! Here's to all the 2014 babies!!!

Lemon I strongly advise you to get a blood test to see your hcg levels are rising by enough. This worry isn't helping you. As long as your tests aren't getting lighter all should be ok. How many dpo are you now?

PunkyPod · 07/03/2014 14:17

Woah that was about 2 hours of thread reading there. To back-track a bit...I have a little plastic cup from the pound shop which i use as my pee cup. DH doesn't know but i keep it in the bathroom so i doubt he'd use it for anything! We've also had fox problems and last year he was weeing in a bottle for all his wees and then sprinkling it about in the garden. What a sight! But the pests came back in avengence and just did their business even more. They've started turning up again now it's warmer and we're not sure if DH should resume his peeing! He has instructed me to look out for a WIDE necked bottle (he thinks a lot of himself doesn't he!!)

I've started doing the OPKs and getting negatives so far. today's cd13 so i'm really hoping this weekend or Monday is the big O day. The in-laws are coming to stay this weekend. Yikes! But the deed has to be done if it's the right time!

Weather is feeling very nice in London today. Grin

PosyFossilsShoes · 07/03/2014 15:03

Not a teacher either, I'm a barrister.

allthequeens that sounds frustrating…. have you got an appt with a GP yet? I have discovered that the words "I think I am pregnant" work magic on our evil GP receptionist who will usually only make you an appointment if you are dead, dying or on fire, and even then she'd probably ask if you can get to the walk-in clinic. I have an appt on Monday booked.

Congrats seekingsense I'm sure we can claim you on this thread!
