Is it at all possible to get your positive opk the day after ovulation? My temp and tests don't really match :(

Zermatt, it's more than likely the OPKs are inaccurate. Although I'm sure my thermometer is a bit dodge! I think I might ditch the temping, it makes me paranoid! Don't worry about it too much, try to DTD a couple more times to cover all bases just in case

Thanks English, I am going to give the temping a miss next month too I think, as my temps are erratic which I think is because I sleep with my mouth open (complete with drool, no wonder DH loves me)... and I wake up a lot in the night so they lack consistency every day. However the 2 cycles I've opk'd the positive test has started on cd13 so am going to just assume thats the norm from now on and try and relax a bit.

Cd15 still getting 'high' on cbfm. Hope I get my peak soon. Looking back over my ff charts I usually get the peak cd15

English what does the high and the peak mean on the CBFM? I looked into getting one of those but for some reason they aren't available in Australia, the rotters.

The highis when you have your estrogen surge, peak is when your LH surges. So you have a good chance or getting upduffed if you DTD on high days as the sperm will linger around, chances are better during peak days as ovulation is them imminent.
I had to get mine off eBay.

I tested this morning and it was a bfn, I'm 11dpo so probably to early to show anything.

Will keep testing until AF or a second line appears.

OPKs. You need to pee in a cup & dip, yes?

Do you use plastic or glass? I take it the cup needs to be clear so you can see the max line?

I bought about 100 party plastic cups from poundland and they have worked fine. They aren't clear, but I can see the max line from above when dipping.

I leave a stack of about 10 in the cupobaord under the sink at all times.
Far enough from the toilet on days when I should avoid poas
Close enough to fumble them out of the cupboard when I have been holding in my pee for a couple hours

Yogurt pots work well for me, MrBsMrsB and they are free too, plus I feel good about recycling them! Calin +, to be specific.

I have one of those every day as pregnacare conception doesn't include calcium and I think my diet might be a bit low in that. Then I stick the pot in the dishwasher and next day when it's clean I put it with the OPKs.

I find it quite a good fit to avoid spills!

I piaj and sometimes my hand that's a Doritos dip type jar so it's nice and wide-mouthed. It lives on the bath store shelf, I don't think DH has figured out why yet!

I piac as I find it a bit easier than POAS. I have party cups from the pound shop too, but I have them at work in case the excitement to piac gets too much! (the shame...!)

otherwise at home, I have a small pot which I think was for holding sauces/dips - it's small enough to dip an IC so I can see the max line. harder to aim into though! (more shame!)

Don't know why I haven't made life easier and piac or piap (pot) I've been saving yogurt pots for school but I've got a better idea now! They are Yeo Valley, kind of oval so I think they'll be a good fit as you put it cineraria!
