sarara a little blood isn't unusual in early preg. If you got a bfp you're very likely up-duffed! I'd phone drs tomorrow, explain situation & ask for blood test.

Choccywoccydodah · 26/02/2014 20:26

Correct, you're blood doesn't get passed through to baby until placenta is there, however too much alcohol can have an affect on implantation so I wouldn't go overboard.

Oh Sara honey, if it's still a positive in the morning can you go and see the dr? Some bleeding is quite common in early pg, so if you can, get it checked. Sending you lots of hugs and positivity xxx

RetroHippy · 26/02/2014 20:26

SaRaRa, has this happened before? I'm just thinking, if you've had a chem preg and it's similar, then I'm gutted for you. But if you've not had this before, I'd say get yoirself to the GP tomorrow. A definite positive is still a definite positive...

lindamagoo · 26/02/2014 20:28

SaRaRa it sounds to me like you've defo got your bfp, bleeding is common and it could also just mean a urine infection, very common too but test again in the morning and phone your gp, they might be able to book you in to the epc for a wee check up x

SaRaRaRaRa · 26/02/2014 20:30

Thanks ginger. Really not hopeful as it was bright red and not a small amount. I will see if what it's like in the morning, if there's not loads more I'll POAS again and see if line is fading. But I'm fully expecting AF to have arrived in full flow. To be honest, I haven't felt the remotest bit pregnant have no symptoms and am getting stronger cramps now.

And I have just remembered that I promised myself if no BFP this cycle I would start the 30 day shred to get myself in better shape for TTC Shock

SaRaRaRaRa · 26/02/2014 20:35

Just seen your posts Linda, Retro and Choccy. When I had last chemical preg I had been having symptoms (sore boobs) and I vividly remember one day they just didn't hurt at all anymore. Then I got bad cramps that evening and was gushing with blood the next morning (sorry for tmi). So this is a bit different as I didn't have any symptoms to disappear but I am having the cramps and expect heavy AF tomorrow. But will look into doc etc if by some miracle there is no blood in morning. I spotted with DS too but that was a bit later on
(6 weekish?) and just a little brown blood.

Thanks for all the advice tho - you ladies are great x

Gingerbreadlady1 · 26/02/2014 20:35

Fx'ed for you sararara, really hope it's a sticky bean!

30 day shred? *uck that...... I'm still on the creme egg and wine diet Blush

SaRaRaRaRa · 26/02/2014 20:36

It was the creme egg and wine diet that has left me needing to shred!

Nordicmom · 26/02/2014 20:40

I'm sorry sarara if things end up going wrong :(! But don't give up hope just yet . See what happens tomorrow. I have had a positive before one day and then it's gone away and I've started bleeding the next so it does happen unfortunately . I can't stop testing early though because I feel so pregnant with my nausea ,aching boobs , weeing , cramping etc . Wish I felt nothing then I could wait to test like I did with DS.
I've just realised I've counted wrong and prob actually today only 9 dpo so still 5 d early . I guess there's still hope for me , it's my bad history that makes me so negative . Good luck to us all , may there be lots of lovely BFP in march !!!!

lindamagoo · 26/02/2014 20:41

Fingers crossed for tomorrow SaRaRa, I'll be on first thing to see how you are...

Off for a very early night as my little monsters had me up all night last night. Night night girls x

EnglishGirlAbroad · 26/02/2014 20:41

Sorry SaRaRa, hope it is just spotting for you.

I can't say that after all that dtd i'll b A) enjoying it or B) putting in much effort. But the little buggers will get in there... by hook or by crook!!!

retro, my dh has grown a crazy beard and tache! Not cool!! I'm desperate for him to shave it off!! And he's growing his head hair! He's like a yeti!!

SaRaRaRaRa · 26/02/2014 20:42

Sorry you are in limbo nordic. 9dpo is still so so early though, fx for a BFP in the next few days.

3isourmagicnumber · 26/02/2014 20:44

Hi ladies. I am keeping myself updated with everyone's progress and excited about the possible bfp's. Everyone seems happy and very positive which is great to read.
In regards to the wine I am def still having the odd glass because as others have said its def needed to keep us sane I think ha.
I'm currently on 3dpo so ages to go and not getting stressed out about it-yet!!!! Been quite down today (nothing to do with tcc) just not myself at all, although I'm feeling better now. Don't know if anyone else has been like this. Anyway good luck to anyone testing tom. Looking forward to seeing some bfp's xx

RetroHippy · 26/02/2014 20:47

English, I love a hairy man! DH looks waay hotter with a beard. At the moment it's a pretty neat goatee. It's not my favourite but better than clean shaven. Best one is the festival, not-shaved-for-a-fortnight look. Mmmmm, manly Wink he may also have a back like a gorilla which I also love

gennibugs · 26/02/2014 20:56

Good luck sarara.

nordic it's early days as yet so fx for you.

3isour - hope you are feeling a bit brighter.

I'm not a massive drinker but I'm still drinking wine when I fancy it and had champagne over the weekend. Ithink this could potentially take months so can't give up on enjoying life. Tge only thing ive stopped is hot hot baths but only because I love them scorchio!

mama31 · 26/02/2014 21:09

Sara sending positive vibes and prayers your way! Good luck for tomorrow hon x

barmybunting · 26/02/2014 21:23

Just came on to see how everyone is getting on.

Sarara I really hope you get a positive and the spotting stops tomorrow. Fingers crossed for you!

Treaclepie19 · 26/02/2014 21:48

SaRa good luck for tomorrow! Hope all is ok.

English and Retro my DH is as hairy as they come haha, and I love it except now and again with the prickly moustache haha :)

barmybunting · 26/02/2014 21:52

I've just been watching an advert for the clearblue digi which gives you the number of weeks. Any one else seen the advert? It is utterly stupid!

PolytheneGirl · 26/02/2014 21:56

"You've been to the doctor already?!"

Yeah completely stupid ad!!

Treaclepie19 · 26/02/2014 21:58

Haha "Oh my god i think im going to cry" Yeah... I want to cry at their bad acting!

Nordicmom · 26/02/2014 22:11

Hah I also just saw that bloody advert when I finally managed to get back downstairs to make myself some dinner . I had to turn the volume off it's so annoying ...

gennibugs · 26/02/2014 22:12

I always want to throw a cushion at the tv when that comes on!

barmybunting · 26/02/2014 22:13

What on earth did they think they were doing? It obviously doesn't work when so many of us hate it!

It is just so false! I've never seen it before but recognise that throwing a cushion at the tv desire!

mama31 · 26/02/2014 22:19

Haha! I was discussing this very advert on a previous bus....it came on and DH put two fingers up at it straight away....made me laugh...DH does not usually behave in this way, it must have struck a nerve!
