TMI ALERT

So the tampon (that I shouldn't have had in) had a blob of very very light brown creamy stuff on it?! I wish my body would stop playing tricks on me! I don't know whether to think this is a good or bad sign!

Needless to say...no more tampons! thanks for the guidance choccy! And now I won't know what's up there unless it comes out which so far it has barely made it out at all.

mama31 · 25/02/2014 12:44

Welcome Sammy! And good luck! Sorry you were subjected to such graphic details of mine on your first post.

sammyj85 · 25/02/2014 12:47

Hehe thank you :-) I hope the graphic signs are positive ones!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 25/02/2014 12:53

Firstly Mama.... I know you love to poas ...but 6dpo!! Lol!! And I think the tampon coming out is a good thing, Im sure you'd worry less if you didnt actually look for the spotting. If its not making its way out and your not checking you're non the wiser!

Linda - yes, what do you use to get it in there? Turkey baster! Im intrigued!! DH would have the royal hump if i suggested that.

mama31 · 25/02/2014 12:54

Thankyou my love!!! But slightly concerned as I used them yesterday and this morning....im so stupid :(

gennibugs · 25/02/2014 12:56

Hi all!

Mama - fx for you that it is not AF spotting. You just never know!

Linda - wow, I never heard of this but it makes sense. Did it work for you?

Well Im 13/14dpo and still no symptoms to speak of. Going to hold out and poas on Saturday if AF doesnt get me before then...

If it does then I will be bugging DH to make sure we DTD for a bit longer after I get smily face next month - thats the plan anyway. Feel a bit mean pestering (as it sounds we all do) but its got to be done! We'll be on holiday so hoping the sun and relaxation gets him all frisky Grin

mama31 · 25/02/2014 12:57

English that's the point...I can't be none the wiser...im so impatient I have to know everything before it even happens! I know, I need to change these tactics...as they are not really helping are they!

Ok I'm publicly promising not to search for the spotting or to use a tampon...and if it reaches the liner then I will know! arrrrgghh the suspense though....so hard....

Linda we are on the edge of our seats intrigued by the self insemination!

PolytheneGirl · 25/02/2014 12:59

Good afternoon ladies! I'm currently sat watching obem with a grin on my face as I just got my first ever positive opk. DH is on nights tonight but if I'm honest I think he likes a bit before a shift!

Retro sorry you're having such trouble. Hopefully things will pick up soon. You really made me laugh with "sexy time" took me back about 10years!

Mama - got all my fingers and toes crossed for you x

mama31 · 25/02/2014 13:09

Poly yes a pre shift shag for your DH sounds like a must! My DH comes home from night shifts sometimes and stays awake until I'm home for lunch to dtd in the fertile week! He's dedicated....or horny rather!

Thanks poly, I need to remain realistic though, with spotting chances are I'm not pregnant. Wish I knew for sure now though rather than having to wait it out.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 25/02/2014 13:10

We will hold you to that promise Mama Wink

lindamagoo · 25/02/2014 13:12

Yep we had one of our sons while doing the insemination and my pal had both her kids that way, was her that told me about it, she worked days and her partner worked nights so they had very little time, he did his thing when he got home, got her up for work and she did her part and hey presto, 2 babies, lol. Just use a syringe, even the little ones you get with some medicine. I'm 42 and oh is 36 so we will defo do it again to up our chances before time runs out

mama31 · 25/02/2014 13:18

I rang the GP surgery there to request the progesterone levels that were taken for my 21day bloods a while ago as I was just told "normal" previously but not the number. They were 33, so I think this is on the low side really and probably accounts for all this spotting!!!!

mama31 · 25/02/2014 13:19

Wow Linda! That's interesting!!

lindamagoo · 25/02/2014 13:19

Well I can't guarantee it was insemination that got me pregnant coz we were dtd now and then aswell but I was 37 before I managed to fall pregnant and it was very soon after we started doing it Smile

EnglishGirlAbroad · 25/02/2014 13:39

Mama i'd go back and question it. Ask for the pessaries. IF this isn't your month!

TMI question - if i'm dtd everyday how am i supposed to tell the difference between ewcm and... ahem.... man juice??

lindamagoo · 25/02/2014 13:39

Watching obem, first baby born on it and I'm in tears, now I get why I'm doing this again Smile

mama31 · 25/02/2014 13:43

English I have an app 3rd March so I will be requesting some form of help re the spotting and will be asking if those levels are what is causing it! Don't think this will be my month :(

mama31 · 25/02/2014 13:43

Well it might be, but end of the month rather than the start ;)

Choccywoccydodah · 25/02/2014 13:43

Mama mine are cyclogest, and you're lower than me!! You can request them from the gp with immediate effect I believe. I'm to take them from 7dpo x

PolytheneGirl · 25/02/2014 13:45

Haha. We've dtd 4 out of the last 5 days. You should have seen the look on dh's face when I just told him about the positive opk and that we'd have to do it every day for the next 3/4 days. He just said "I better have a nap" and went off upstairs!

mama31 · 25/02/2014 13:59

Thanks choccy! I'm going to ask the GP for them at my appointment and she better give them to me or ill be a ranting, raving lunatic! I'm so annoyed that I didn't check the number out before as this test was Dec, when I was told normal, I thought no concerns at all but now I have the number I would call it low not normal!!!!

sazzlehopes · 25/02/2014 14:08

Just popping in to see everyone's news. Wow the Mad March bus certainly is that! I'm loving the ant and dec chat and pom poms and dragons in the bed?! Or something along those lines! Well done ladies, hilarious and positive vibe going on...
Mama I have my fx for you that the random spotting is not beginning of af, and you get co-operation from your GP when you go in.
Good luck to those poas very soon! x

lindamagoo · 25/02/2014 14:12

Mama how many days before af does your spotting usually start and how many days before has it started this time?

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/02/2014 14:30

Does anyone else find that if af is lat, for me this time by 6 days, it's doubly agonising!
