Hi everyone, I'm taking a plunge and starting our folicking March bus off to a start.

OP posts:
PolytheneGirl · 25/02/2014 14:33

If I was late and got a bfn I would be going out if my mind! I have no idea how you coped with that Mrs.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/02/2014 14:41

Polythene, my thyroid is playing up at the mo so wasn't expecting a bfp! But when you're late you're late and you can't help wondering, can you ! The pain has been pretty horrendous today and has wiped me out. Bug tomorrow is bound to be more normal.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/02/2014 14:46

Sorry I know this is tmi but just passed a massive clot. I'm wondering if it's an unstuck bean?! Sad Please tell me the massive clot is because I'm so late !

PolytheneGirl · 25/02/2014 14:48

I think it's terrible waiting for af to get started when your pretty certain you're not pg. last month we missed my fertile period and I was just counting down to af so we could get started again. I hope tomorrow is better Thanks

PolytheneGirl · 25/02/2014 14:50

How big was the clot? General rule seems to be that under the size of a 50p is normal.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/02/2014 14:50

Thanks polythene! Just feeling a bit weak and feeble today. Tomorrow's bound to be better. Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 25/02/2014 14:52

I know the 50p rule, it was 3x 50ps. But I did 2x tests and they were both bfn. So it's just my crap body being crap I think! Confused

S4renity · 25/02/2014 14:54

Thanks Wilhelminanevillesdottir & Retrohippy. Isn't it a minefield this ttc malarkey Confused.
I've got some researching to do & calendars to plot whilst enduring the lack of energy that comes with a period, so I guess I'll be back in a few days and hopefully a bit more knowledgeable Wink.

Good luck everyone!

mama31 · 25/02/2014 15:42

Thanks saz! I'm not hopeful though but yes hoping GP can do something for me this time.

Linda it varies, usually starts around 9dpo but was 8dpo last cycle. However in December I had a random cycle with spotting from 4-6dpo nothing 8-10 then more spotting 11-12dpo and full flow 13dpo.

This cycle I started spotting at 5dpo very light, and it has got lighter each day, not at 9dpo it's so scant and just creamy/light light brown. Not making it on to a liner.

So confusing and annoying but ill keep poas to see what happens! Hate this process sometimes! But at least we have had some laughs to start March off....need to keep the spirits up on the mad March bus! it's keeping me sane....ironically!

Nordicmom · 25/02/2014 15:45

I tested in frer today 5 days early and it was bfn ofcourse ...

Choccywoccydodah · 25/02/2014 15:46

Anything over 30 is 'normal' mama, but would be worth a go Smile

lindamagoo · 25/02/2014 15:59

Mama my spotting usually always starts 5 days before af, never earlier, it's so frustrating, mines is always fresh red and it's there right up until af arrives full flow so it may be a good sign if yours is dying down already and brownish, I will keep my fingers tightly crossed for you x

lindamagoo · 25/02/2014 16:04

What is it about ttc that sends us loopy? I've already order ic tests and it's only my first month trying, they'll probably be out of date by the time I need them, lol

TwoJackRussellsandababy · 25/02/2014 16:04

Hello all, I'm sorta joining in if that's okay?

Already have one little boy, trying for our second, had two periods already and no luck!

mama31 · 25/02/2014 16:06

Yes choccy your right it's worth a go! :)

Thanks Linda. Wow fresh red from 5 days before! Mine is always brown. Can I ask if you have always had spotting? Did it cause any trouble conceiving your other children? Or did it not have any impact? This is the lightest spotting I've had so far but it did start very early this time. It's kind of mixed with cm so it's creamy rather than "blood" like (sorry serious tmi with me at the minute).

I'm so hungry today as well! Starving...ok mama stop symptom spotting, it's probably pms! but I also have no zits and usually get a pre af mega zit....stop it mama!!!!!!! (prob the vitex making my skin nice)

lindamagoo · 25/02/2014 16:14

I've had problems with af all my days, get them once a year then it would be every 2 weeks but when I lost weight my periods regulated themselves and that's when the spotting started, I also started getting ov spotting and got pregnant soon after so it's not necessarily a bad thing but it is very annoying bleeding so much...

PunkyPod · 25/02/2014 16:24

Got a touch of the green eyed monster... 2 women at work are preggo. 1 is first time and the other is having her second. her first was born the day after my DD.

Then a friend has just announced her pregnancy. She would have had a similar EDD to me if i hadn't MCed. it's her second.

I didn't really get to process the MC because we got married the following week so everything was a magical haze. But i think now i am realising it was a loss. DH knows how i feel and wants DC2 badly too. He's going on a bit of a health kick this month and taking his vits. Just hope this is the month for us. It is the right time.

Sorry, self indulgent post, just needed to get it off my chest or it'll burn a hole in my brain!

Choccy I remember you from previous threads and we both got BFPs in January. Sounds like a really positive step forwards with your appointment.

Sending luck everyone's way :)

Serenitysutton · 25/02/2014 17:04

Lots to catch up on! Sorry to hear you're feeling sad punky.

I had bfn Sunday and period due today but no sign.
Like a few others I just want to get on with it now!

PunkyPod · 25/02/2014 17:10

oohhh fingers crossed Serenity. Will you test again tomorrow?

Not really that sad, just very determined. Only at the very start of the cycle so got about 2 weeks to wait til ov time anyway. want it to hurry up!

cheerfultrail · 25/02/2014 17:11

Trying to decide whether to get on the bus. Would mean DC due in time for xmas and not sure I am up to it!

lindamagoo · 25/02/2014 17:24

What's stopping you cheerful? I've just joined the bus and it's a lovely bunch of girls (a little crazy but lovely, lol) meant in the nicest way possible girls Smile

RetroHippy · 25/02/2014 17:29

Well just had a very productive chat with DH. He came home from work early to sort out last nights row...

He's obviously had time to think about it, he's going to stop drinking during the week as it causes him to slump so he's not in the mood by bedtime. We're also going to go to bed earlier so we have time to make it a fun thing not a chore.

He's apologised for being blasé about it as we haven't been trying long so he's not too worried, but knows I am worrying and have a good reason to be so he needs to support me.

Still feeling teary, but it's more of a relief thing now...

Bloody knackered. Think spirits are low today on here, we need more pompom shaking!

To be repeated by anyone who feels we are getting too down in the dumps (in a cheer-up-able way, if it's done following recent bfn the recipient has every right to virtually shove a green fertility pompom where the sun don't shine).

S4renity · 25/02/2014 17:36

Oh RetroHippy pleased to hear you have managed to talk & come away with some promising outcomes. Men, honestly they don't have a clue how complex we are! ??

lindamagoo · 25/02/2014 17:43

Aw that's good Retro, so glad you have worked things out with him Smile

mama31 · 25/02/2014 18:00

Retro so glad things are sorted with you and DH. I know what you mean though, if I actually waited until bedtime, it would not happen as I'm so so tired after about 9pm!!! Haha! I love my sleep! But I quickly realised that during the first few cycles and started to be ready for DH when he was due in from work or on my lunch hour (sneaky!) and it has worked a treat, gets it done while I still have energy and means we can enjoy a relaxing evening also...win win!!!

Ok I agree in need of pom pom shaking!!!! Might even break out in a pj and duncan dance to try and get the positivity back!
