Hi everyone, I'm taking a plunge and starting our folicking March bus off to a start.

OP posts:
nosaint · 24/02/2014 00:10

Hi, I am a newbie, 36 years old, ttc#1 cycle 8, decided to join the bus as trying not to think about it and just shagging has not worked yet!

Cineraria · 24/02/2014 00:45

I had such fun reading all this evening's posts that I'm really glad I got to join this bus now! Just checking about correct use of green fertility pom poms: are they used in the traditional manner or tied onto the feet when doing the upside down pedaling?

I sent DH the link to the feng shui site as I know that kind of thing would really wind him up and got a withering look and the comment "Very new age. Next thing is you'll be wanting me to sleep with my bits in a pyramid to energise them I suppose!" Hmm, now where can I get a fertility pyramid...

ClemencePoesy · 24/02/2014 05:44

Hi everyone, can I join you?
31, cycle 1 ttc #3

I have only read back a couple of pages, but now have peni world jingle in my head, at 5.30 in the morning which is amusing.

Af due sometimish around 1st of March but I could be wrong as a bit rubbish at paying attention to cycles and this is our first attempt.
Saying that I feel truly shocking, was up at 3am yesterday, 5 today.
Got married last May, so would be nice to announce a pregnancy around our wedding anniversary.
Feeling all discombobulated at the moment (I hope I've used the right word) hopefully hanging out here will distract me.
Good luck everyone!

S4renity · 24/02/2014 07:33

Hi,
I'm new! We tried conceiving during my last ovulation period & disappointingly my period seems to started over a week early :(
Is this common? & no I've not been on the pill.x

Nordicmom · 24/02/2014 08:00

Morning people. Have spend the whole weekend just thinking about this since I've been in constant nausea for 3 days straight ( but not sick ) and have had both pain in the lower back on the right side oddly where I normally feel pain around / after ovulation ( I thought it was meant to be my left ovary this month ?! This hasn't happened before) and general cramping for a few days in my stomache but not like period ones and then yesterday ( day 7dpo?) had very localised kind of dull pain in the middle where I assume my uterus is ? Also boobs still aching . Weird , I'm confused . Did a frer this morning can't wait while feel like this . BFN ofcourse ... What a week ahead I can't stand this bloody second week of 2 ww!

bellaboo88 · 24/02/2014 08:05

Ugh missed it off...bellaboo88 ttc#1 cycle#2 bfp due 8th

S4renity, are you keeping a diary? Personally I use ewcm &cm to find my ovulation & go 10-14 days as lp not sorted itself out...cycles can really vary, one of our passengers just had 17 day cycle & others have had 50days plus. There's no way of knowing just look for signs! A lot of ladies opk too & basal temp. You choose what's best for you.

X

lindamagoo · 24/02/2014 08:10

Ok so the hangover got the better of me and I was in bed by 8.30 last night, lol, but I am now sitting giggled up at your convos from last night Grin and I think I am defo on the right bus here as (hangs head in shame) I've seen pj and Duncan live in concert, lol, they rocked Smile

lindamagoo · 24/02/2014 08:24

Nordic I got both my previous bfp's at 9dpo using ic's and I'd started testing at 6dpo so there's still time yet Smile

mama31 · 24/02/2014 08:39

Can't believe it's Monday again! The weekend goes too fast! Hope you all have a great day, or get the day over with quick as possible and back home to relax (put pomegranates, dragons, greens sheets on/by bed).

Barmy good luck for your first day of new job! You will do great! Let us know how it went x

NewlymrsB · 24/02/2014 09:00

Joining the march bus!

Ttc #1 cycle 3 day 1

Any suggestions on improving our chances this month??

PunkyPod · 24/02/2014 09:05

Righty-ho! I've been lurking on this bus not knowing whether i should hop on or wait but here i am officially climbing aboard and grabbing one of the back seats.

My post MC AF turned up yesterday. A mixture of disappointment and renewed determination to get this bfp. I had a feeling i had ovulated on a weekend away without DH and sure enough i had as it was exactly 2 weeks ago. Pretty irritating! But this now gets me back on track with my cycles so i'm going to start off with these stats.

PunkyPod TTC#2 Cycle#1 BFP due 24/03/2014

Definitely going to catch that egg this month!!!!

Wishing everyone huge luck this month. lets make a bumper number of November babies!

RetroHippy · 24/02/2014 09:17

Look up there ^^^ newly. Can't guarantee they're all sensible suggestions though! Wink

spinningirl10 · 24/02/2014 09:17

Haha loving the madness from last night!! Love Ant and DecGrin

Barmy....good luck at
New job today. We're at the same stage, 2 dpo!!! The 2ww is such a drag!

Choccy....good luck at docs!

Nordic.....sounds good for you! FxGrin

Has anyone seen Writer? She can't have too long to go now. If you're reading this Writer then let us know how you're doing Grin

spinningirl10 · 24/02/2014 09:20

Forgot to ask about reflexology!

For those if you who have had it, how often are you going? I found someone online that's close to me but it recommends once a week!!

SaRaRaRaRa · 24/02/2014 09:21

Good luck barmy!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 24/02/2014 09:33

Af booked in at 9.15! I had an inkling she would arrive this morning. So can I hop back on please? Grin

cycle3 bfp 24th march (or whenever af fancys, now apparently sage is scared by children at home in half term) 6 days late indeed! I'm having a firm word!!!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 24/02/2014 09:38

Writer posted yesterday on the feb bus! She didn't mention anything so I'm guessing she's still in one piece. Writer if you're reading, we are all thinking of you, wishing you lots of strength for the coming days Smile

spinningirl10 · 24/02/2014 09:48

Thanks Mrs....she's booked in for a c-section but can't remember date Grin

EnglishGirlAbroad · 24/02/2014 10:11

Sounds promising Nordic. Ovaries dont necessarily switch each month.... some people ovulate more frequently from one over another. Its normal. Fingers crossed you get your bfp in a few days!!

Good luck in the new job Barmy, hope its goes well and takes your mind off ttc!!

I'm on cd6 and just used my new cbfm for the first day!! I was weirdly excited to poas this morning!! Just hope we have a straightforward month this cycle!! Nice normal ov on cd14/15 and lots of dtd!! And obviously a sticky bfp!!

gennibugs · 24/02/2014 10:22

Morning all!

Looks like I missed out on some fun last night! !

Good luck to barmy and hello to the new travellers. I'm guessing we may see some bfps this week!

I'm 12/13 dpo and no symptoms apart from one which usually means AF is on the way! If no AF I'm planning to test on fri/sat I think.

mama31 · 24/02/2014 12:02

Still lightly brown spotting here, only at C still. Why am I torturing myself to think I'm still in with a chance?!!!! When really, this is usual pre af spotting that started even earlier! Not sure why I do this to myself....need a reality check!

RetroHippy · 24/02/2014 12:15

Having a small non-ttc related rant; meeting SIL in town at 11... She sent a message at 11 to say she was running late... Still no sign! I wouldn't mind but I've got no money to go shopping, and we're meeting for food so there's no sense in getting coffee and cake. I'm wandering aimlessly and have been for over an hour Angry. Does having small children render you incapable of leaving the house?!

Bored!

cth1982 · 24/02/2014 12:23

Hey Ladies - it's another new week so wishing luck to all! Have started charting temp and CM so its all fun and games at the moment - I think CM is very suggestive to interpretation i.e. I have a great idea of what EWCM will be but just the normal clear in-between in a but questionable as in what is considered what!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 24/02/2014 12:26

Retro it can! Esp when they're tiny, unexpected nappy changes or feeding. But that is very late isn't it! I'd be annoyed too, but I'm also one of the annoying late people! Confused Hope she turns up soon! My dsis and I if going anywhere together would always work the train timetable for the last resort train leaving at such and such! She was overly patient with me.

RetroHippy · 24/02/2014 12:29

DNiece is 18 mo... And I absolutely get that the unexpected happens, but an hour and a half with no update... And she had form before she even had the baby.

It's like my time is of no consequence Angry.

I'm going home. Too pissed off for a nice lunch now anyway.
