Onelife

Your's a bargain! Reflexology was super relaxing. I think I dozed off for a few minutes!!! The parts that were tender I did actually have a history on. But adrenal gland was new (stress?) and the right ovaries. Also minor blockage of fallopian tubes.

Completely booked out. So next appointment in March. I am normally a sceptic. But it is coming to the point where I think "Every little helps". So even just being relaxed is super important.

onelifeonechance · 07/02/2014 10:12

OMG Writer, I need the name of the hotel and that lady NOW!!!! I so want to go, where is it?? I'm up for giving anything a shot!!! You so have to write to her Grin I'm sure mama and some others would like to go too, maybe we should organise a coach party?! Lol Grin

Choccy!! Hi hon, glad to hear you're surviving and getting well looked after. Fingers crossed for your appt, hope all goes well x

Ooo spinning, not long to wait then, good luck! And happy hols (without af!)

sazzlehopes · 07/02/2014 10:13

Writer - love these stories! You definitely need to tell her. Wow 2 weeks left - I can't believe it. Please make sure you try and pop in and give us updates. So excited for you!

sazzlehopes · 07/02/2014 10:14

Onelife - a coach party is an excellent idea. An stop off for the bus!

Writerwannabe83 · 07/02/2014 10:16

It was the Yew Lodge Hotel in Kegworth (DE74 2DF) Smile

I can't remember her name but I think there were only the two beauticians and she was definitely the Senior one. I wish I had memorised her name.....I won't know who to address my letter too Grin

onelifeonechance · 07/02/2014 10:18

Glad it was good Snow. The only part that was slightly tender on me (&i mean slightly) she said was linked with the digestive system but that that could just mean I was hungry (which I was as it was pre-dins!!! And the fact I'm always hungry!!) She said my adrenals showed up abit too (linked to stress but she said this was common in most people) and my neck and shoulders (again due to tension and found in most people) She said my reproductive bits all felt ok, so I suppose that's good but then do I need to still go and WHY AREN'T I PREGNANT YET THEN?!! Ahem..sorry Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 07/02/2014 10:19

We got a brilliant offer on a website as opposed to booking direct with them. We got a luxury room, 3 course fancy dinner (which was delicious), a spa treatment each and access to the pool and sauna etc etc. we had a lovely night. The offer meant we got it for less than half price. I think it was off the Secret Escapes website....I will have to check Smile

onelifeonechance · 07/02/2014 10:21

Thanks Writer, I am so tempted to book, it's only an hour away! In fact I wouldn't need to stay I could just go for the massage!! Omg this is so a plan!!

onelifeonechance · 07/02/2014 10:22

What do I say though ' please can I book a massage with the baby aura lady'?!

Writerwannabe83 · 07/02/2014 10:25

It was only an hour away from us too - hence it's appeal as we just wanted a one night break and didn't fancy travelling for hours to get one.

I nearly wet myself at 'baby aura lady' - how mad would that phone conversation be!!! Grin

Plus, she may not even work there anymore? Hmm

Maybe give a description....I would put her at late 30's, relatively slim build, very dark hair....

onelifeonechance · 07/02/2014 10:25

This is my debate with it Snow - does the reflexology work because it relaxes you, or does it work because it works?! Does that make sense? What I mean is if the reason it's good is because people feel relaxed and it's some me time, then I get that but if that's the case I'd prefer to spend my money on a nice back massage as I find that much more relaxing and a treat. Or does it work because of whatever it is she's doing with all the pressing and holding stuff?? Hmm

onelifeonechance · 07/02/2014 10:31

I am actually willing to have that strange conversation Writer!!! Although clearly now I'm thinking about it it would make me seem crackers. 'Hello, my friend called Writer who I've never met but know very intimate details about off an online chat site has told me that a little while ago a lady whose name we don't know gave her a massage here and felt a baby aura and I'd like to book a massage with that same lady please as I am desperate for a BFP and am willing to try anything including making this bizarre phone call' Grin

PosyFossilsShoes · 07/02/2014 10:43

Tiny spot yesterday (AF usually starts with a gush) made me think implantation, but no, fairly confident that the Enoch Powell situation now happening in my knickers is AF. That was IUI attempt 2 (TTC #1) and I'm a bit gutted :(

Now I have to spend the day with my professional hat on dealing with a woman who is lucky enough to have two children and abused them.

Going to try for angry over tearful, since it looks like today is mostly going to be one or the other.

barmybunting · 07/02/2014 10:56

Posy sorry to hear that it looks like af is on the way. I really hope it isn't. That's hard going to have to face work today when it involves that for you. Look after yourself and try to relax over the weekend if you can. Thanks for you.

akachan (sorry, I think I have spelt that wrong but I can't read back and type on my phone at the same time) congratulations!! When will you tell dh?

I am beginning to wonder if there actually is something in this reflexology thing after all (I am a tad sceptical). I woke up this morning to loads of ewcm, and I've had a lot more cm in recent days than normal. Today is cd11 for me, and in the last seven months I have generally oved between cd20 and 30, so ewcm at this stage is much earlier than usual for me. I decided to start the opks as a result, and got a flashing smiley so I think, fingers crossed, I may actually ov much earlier than usual over the next few days! The only thing I have changed this month is to eat that manuka honey stuff and had reflexology on cd1 and yesterday, cd10. Maybe there is something in reflexology after all! Fingers crossed. Even if it just regulates my cycles slightly more, it will be worth it.

MrsNutjob · 07/02/2014 10:59

Congratulations Akachan! I imagine that tell Dh is just the first of a while bunch of exciting things you get to do :)

Writer - definitely write to her! It's such a lovely story and I'm sure she'll appreciate it. Who knows, maybe she needs something to cheer her up right now, and you might be the one to do it.

I started spotting yesterday, dammit - only CD11. On the plus side, at least I don't have to find out I'm not pregnant on my birthday...

missmrsmummy · 07/02/2014 11:16

That's good news barmy! Get busy Wink

sazzlehopes · 07/02/2014 11:37

Posy I'm so sorry - how horrid to have to deal with your day feeling sad. Hugs to you.

Barmy sounds promising. I'd get dtd eod just incase ov does come early this month - you don't want to be caught out. PErhaps Mardge has done good!

MrsNut - cd11 spotting? When did you ov? It can't af that early surely?!!

akachan · 07/02/2014 11:40

I'm planning to tell him tomorrow I think - assuming I get another BFP in the morning.

MrsNutjob · 07/02/2014 12:05

Sazzle, I meant DPO 11! Just me being stupid. It sometimes seems to me that the more I'm convinced it's happened this month, the earlier AF comes!

barmybunting · 07/02/2014 12:07

Fingers crossed it will be another bfp in the morning akachan! Will you use a digi tomorrow?

Unfortunately I'm up with my parents for the weekend, but DH arrives early tomorrow morn. DTD in parents house is not my favourite place but if needs must, lucky DH! Smile Maybe Marge has done it as you say sazzle!

OP posts:
barmybunting · 07/02/2014 12:07

Sorry Mrsnut, that's rubbish. Do you normally get spotting before af?

writer that baby aura lady sounds brilliant, I like that chat!

Choccywoccydodah · 07/02/2014 12:09

Lol writer, I think I may have to book in there too!! I'm not far in Warwickshire Smile

Mrsextra, I took baby aspirin my last cycle I fell. When I went in for my scan at the clinic they told me to stop it immediately as it had absolutely no effect on ttc. She said the specialist wouldn't ever recommend it. I did obviously, not sure what that was all about though! Will ask at my referral.

Sazzle I think it's progesterone and am so willing to stab myself everyday if needs be! So glad for the happy ending for your friend!! GrinGrin. And old timers lol!

Hi spinning and one life!!! Hope you're happy shagging Grin xx

MrsNutjob · 07/02/2014 12:16

Thanks Barmy - this is my first time on the bus and it's surprised me just how nice it is to hear someone sympathise! So thanks :) Yes, I always get the spotting of doom. And stupidly, there's always a little voice in my head telling me maybe it's worked anyway! The things we do to ourselves, eh?!

rossby · 07/02/2014 12:24

I had the same thing this month barmy but only thing I've changed is taking manuka honey - think it has a big effect!

Sadly not big enough effect in my case as woke up this morning to the very definite symptoms of imminent AF. Am gutted actually - I did so much this month, NUDP, the (disgusting) manuka honey, pretty much a dry month, DTD at exactly the right times based on OPKs, even down to two cups of green tea a day. Feel like there's nothing else I can do.Came off the pill two and a half years ago now, so although technically only cycle 6 that was after two years of thinking it would just happen (innocent days!) and it is hard to keep up the positivity. Sorry to moan! - was trying to resist but just feel the need to tell someone - my friends aren't that much help (most of them are pg or have babies) and I don't want to burden DH with it too much.

Though akachan that is brilliant news for you, very pleased for you, and it does help to know that it can happen!

ReginaFelange22 · 07/02/2014 12:35

So I'm back on the feb bus.
Just had a scan after bleeding and there is no baby in the womb and a test showed negative.

I don't know when I'll be due AF.

TTC #1 cycle 4
