Well reflexology update for those interested - In all honesty I am undecided! It was nice and relaxing, but i can be a sceptical sod sometimes and I had to try really hard to turn off the piece of my brain that kept saying 'I'm paying £36 for this!!' I was amazed at how light the touch was, no real tender areas. She said I had good energy so that made me like her (I'm easily pleased) But, I do think there's something in it so I am willing to give it a fair go so have another session booked. And if she gets me my bfp I will love her forever and promote her services to everybody and anybody!!! How did you get on Snow?

Onelife - my lady pressed fairly hard in some places - or it wasn't hard as such, but whatever she was up to it certainly uncomfortable... It's difficult isn't it. I wasn't a great believer, but I did like my lady which I think helped a bit. FX for you though something happens!!

English, so sorry you had a chem, it's utterly heartbreaking :( Wishing you all the luck in the world for feb.

Waves to everyone else that was a huge support for me over the last few months.

So, not sure if you wanted to know, but thought would update you about what's going on.

So, I've had more or less every blood test you could think of, been drained of over 16 pots of blood, and all came back clear!

Had my progesterone test (day 21) on Tuesday, not heard yet.
Personally I think it's that. I'm on 7dpo today and started spotting brown. I've not taken b6 this month as didn't want anything affecting my bloods. I ov'd 2 days late, now early spotting.

I've been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic and my appt is 24th feb, we've not been trying this month as I wanted my body to have a rest.
They will be repeating bloods (!) as I will have had a month since my last chem.

I haven't started a march bus, I'm too scared so I will just be lurking again next month!

Anyway, just wanted to let you know!

Choccy, so odd I was only just thinking about you a minute ago and was going to ask Mama if she'd heard from you. Glad you are being tested for things, although not nice. And I hope that with all these results and an appointment at the recurrent mc clinic someone will be able to help shed light onto why you keep having mc. Hoping it's something simple(ish) like daily injections, or a pessary for progesterone. My friend had recurring mc too and after tests (she had one dc already with no trouble that time round) she had to inject herself daily. Not easy of course but now she is a month away from having her second dc. SO hoping something works out for you, you deserve it. Please do keep us posted, I'm lurking on the buses too just to see the old timers get their much deserved bfps. All the best choccy xx

Thanks Onelife....hmmm the reflexology does sound interesting! I think I might book up for myself next month. Got to be worth a try

Choccy, I just wondered whether anyone had mentioned baby aspirin to you. Tbh I'm not really sure how it all works, but it was on another thread. Ladies who were advised to take it as they'd had recurrent mc. One mner had 3 girls in turn on baby aspirin. Might be worth a read.

I think my egg must've been and gone as my cervix is lower today (another neg on the opk though). Hope we caught it with Weds BDing!

Two months before me and DH started TTC we treated ourselves to a nice weekend away in a hotel that had a Beauty Parlour attached to it so I decided to go for a massage. We didn't really speak during the massage seeing as it's meant to be relaxing, she just made the odd comment about the knots in my back. Anyway, at the end of the session she sat down opposite me, looked at me quizzically. And said, "Did you say you were are on your Anniversary?" I hadn't said anything of the sort and nor was I wearing my wedding ring so she didn't even know I was married - I told her that no I wasn't but that I'd got married 3 weeks ago. She smiled, said she had sensed it and then said, "I probably shouldn't tell you what else I can sense..." I love all this kind of thing though so I asked her what she meant and she told me that from the minute I had walked into her room my entire aura had been screaming 'baby' at her and the closer she had got to me during the massage the stronger the message had been coming across. I told her that I wasn't pregnant but the plan was for me and DH to start TTC very soon. She gave me a big smile and said, "I can absolutely GUARANTEE you that you will have a baby within a year, I can feel it all around you!" I got all excited and kept saying, "Really, do you really think so?" - she nodded her her head and said, "I promise you that by this time next year you'll have a baby." She was so calm about it and so sure of it that obviously I believed her I ran back to the hotel room and told my DH who thought it was eerie but exciting!

And now here I am - baby is coming 2 weeks before the 'year is up' that she predicted. She made me promise to let her know if her foresight became reality, even though she said she knew it would. I'm actually tempted to write to her and tell her she was right.

I will have to hunt out the details of the hotel and you can all get yourselves down there for a massage and have your baby related futures predicted

Writer that's so lovely. Why don't you write the letter now while you have your arms free and add a picture of the baby at the last minute, once it's here.

It's such an exciting time. I was so young when I had my first. It was so anxious. I've learnt the hard way the calmer I am about things the easier the outcome. Will be watching out for your news over the next few weeks.

Would like to join the bus please (newbie here - hi guys waves).

BFP WAS due on the 3rd...it's now 5 days later and still nothing :(. Will sit quietly at the back of the bus with my fingers crossed for everyone!

She also told me a tale of when she was once massaging a man and she was getting the exact same sensations from him throughout the entire massage and asked him if he'd recently become a new dad because all she could sense was 'baby' and that it was odd to be feeling that sensation from a male as she usually only picks it up from the women. He laughed and told her that no he hadn't - then basically told her he didn't believe in all 'that rubbish' anyway

Three weeks later he phoned the salon, spoke to the masseur and told her that although he hadn't said at the time, whilst she was massaging him, his wife was in the room next door also getting a massage and that although they weren't TTC she had just found out she was pregnant

I guess those women's pregnancy vibrations were permeating through the walls
