Well I'm definitely on for EC on Monday. Eek! Now have 12 follicles at the right size and may even have to have cabergoline although no symptoms of OHSS at the moment thankfully. I'll find out later when my oestrogen levels are back. I am feeling bloated though in the tummy area and definitely ready for my ovaries to go back to normal size.

It's nice to see graduates of this thread with their successes! good luck with everything motor, miss!!

res and brooker Juicy/pram doesn't post on any threads at the moment, but I did get a PM last week. She is now 39 weeks, so may well have had her baby by now, or if not, it will arrive very soon.

AFM today is OTD and I feel like shit. The outcome isn't going to be a surprise (I did another test on Wed which was neg too) but I just feel really really down. Am trying to work but really can't be arsed so am doing my best to look busy.

Beetle, hello very exciting that egg collection is just around the corner. I have everything crossed for your happy ever after honey.

I know 2 people (1 donor and 1 own eggs) that cycled in Prague after many failed cycles and they both were successful. One is pregnant now and one has a baby. I also hear great things about Serum, Athens too.

I'm on the 10+ thread and one poster on there is considering DE at Serum soon, and another poster had success with DE in Brno and had her gorgeous little girl in January. DE seems much easier abroad without the restrictions that we have here.

Ok, so EC today. I was in such a state before I went down to theatre, as all the other ladies had GA, and I was wide awake! 1st lady came back crying, so that shuck me up. So I went down to the theatre and everything was explained and the nurses and dr was really nice. Everything was fine up until the dr got the big follicles, I felt them pop. Not good! Next time I would defo be put to sleep for the procedure, (but hopefully there won't be a next time)

From my scan on Wednesday I had 15 on my left and 12 on my right. They managed to retrieve 10 in total today. 7 from left and 3 from right. The others where too small. But as it was my first ivf, they didn't want to over stimulate my bigger follicles. Dr said he was really happy, and didn't expect to get as many as 10. Feeling abit sick now, so day on the sofa for me. Just got the dreaded wait to find out how many are fertilised now. Fingers crossed we get 1 good one to put back.

Am avidly lurking and watching but had to just jump in.

I have DE IVF booked at a clinic in Zlin, Czech at Easter. Currently on the pill to time the cycle and feeling nervous. Zlin is a very small clinic and largely unheard of but has good results and is run by the same people that run reprofit. Well worth a look- we have found them to be excellent so far x

Well done B4by! 10 is a good number. I was awake for 2 of my ECs. I preferred it as I freak out coming round but the last time I did feel everything. I hope you are being waited on now and that you get a good fertilisation call tomorrow.

Baby, hun that sounds like a scary experience. I know with GA I often wake up crying though! You definitely shouldn't have felt anything popping though. Hope you're ok now? 10 is a lovely number. Fingers crossed lots of those fertilise well.

b4by that sounds horrible I didn't have a good experience with the GA but I think if take it any day over the sedation. I'd rather be out and have no idea what's going on in my lady cave!

Thanks for all of your well wishes! I don't have any stimms this time though as I'm going for an FET so I'll be on to the progesterone next weekend then FET some time the week after. If this fails ill be back on the fresh cycle again {gulp}

The cold is getting worse and I've had a whistley nostril all day! Talking to the parents (I'm a nursery supervisor) with a musical nostril is uber embarrassing " she's had a lovely pffeerrrp day today with phherrrp chicken pie for lunch phherrrp" the children found it hilarious though so at least I entertained

Wish, sorry you're feeling rough with cold, but I have to say you are brightening up my day with your comedic posts of course your kids lived your whistling nostril hee hee heee!!!

One last post for tonight. I am so pissed off with DH (again). We were discussing 'diaries' today (how sad) largely in a work/home sense because I am supposed to do a 4 day week but occasionally am forced to work for 5 days and this impacts negatively on home/DD. Anyway, I asked him about important upcoming dates/themes and not once did he mention or factor in the March FET dates we've discussed on numerous occasions. It just does not resonate at all whereas I have to have in mind CD1, scan dates and ET date at least (let alone all the dates in between!). I am currently thinking that I just won't tell him about them. Petty, yes, but if he can't be bothered to show an interest in advance...

Glad to hear the updates about Juicy and Maybe. That's definitely cheering news. Please pass on my love too.
