I doubt it's trigger.
I hope it's the start of your bfp! X

WannabeMaryPoppins · 07/02/2014 18:01

Keeping everything crossed bugs!

WannabeMaryPoppins · 07/02/2014 18:04

DH is taking DS to MIL for the weekend do I have two while days of doing sweet fa. Bliss! Btw my Dr said something funny. He have us the picture of the embryo after they had done the transfer & tools me to keep looking at it. Apparently it helps the immune system realise that it shouldn't attack it.

WannabeMaryPoppins · 07/02/2014 18:05

Brilliant one! Btw did you used to be called something else before or am I getting you mixed up with sometime else?

Badhairday76 · 07/02/2014 18:30

Yay Bugs! I do t think it's the trigger! My line was as faint as anything but is much stronger now. The Superdrug tests are great. I would be cautiously optimistic!!

I have tested because I didn't want to be left out and there is the faintest of lines (so faint have to hold it to the light). It's 9 dpt so at least I know that the trigger should be out of my system from tomorrow I would say. I think I will carry on getting bfns but at least I won't get a false positive now.

My embie was 4 cells on Sunday afternoon but still only 6 cell my 11am on Monday which I think means it has slowed down which can't be good.

Bugs sounds hopeful! Xx

nobeer · 07/02/2014 19:14

Well done on PUPOness MaryP

Bugs and One please step away from the tests. I know the 2ww is torture but just watch a gripping series or something to distract you. Until OTD I will have my fingers crossed for you.

res I might be with you in March, but might not. I've just heard from Immunologist and got an appointment re my blood tests at the end of Feb. So I guess things will start moving in March.

WannabeMaryPoppins · 07/02/2014 19:19

Hi nobeer was just thinking of tug this evening & wondering how you got on with your tests.

One & bugs nobeer is right. Keep away from those tests!

Onelittlebugbear · 07/02/2014 19:36

I wanted to know the trigger had gone, I know it's not a bfp, I'm only 4dp a 3dt. It's negative really anyway, the line is so faint I'm not sure if I've got line eyes!

moggle · 07/02/2014 20:31

Someone who was on the same 'waiting to TTC for the first time' thread as me back in autumn 2011 has an 'ooh is it really a line' thread, for baby #2. Fuck!

I've just attempted to cook a nice healthy dinner and it is utterly disgusting so am now wolfing down pasta with butter and cheese. Oh well it is Friday who gives a stuff.

All quite exciting on here tonight, I feel like a total voyeur refreshing repeatedly. Don't really know what to say bugs but hope the line stays. one are you going to test the trigger out completely and do another test tomorrow or just leave it at that?

nobeer · 07/02/2014 20:45

Hi MaryP I'll find out in March! I've just changed the appointment so DP can be there too, don't want anything lost in translation. I'm a bit nervous tbh.

Onelittlebugbear · 07/02/2014 20:53

I think I will leave it now, it was barely barely there so I think it would be gone by tomorrow and definitely by Sunday. If I test on Monday (otd is Friday) with a sensitive test I should be ok.
I'm not expecting a bfp anyway, I'm definitely expecting a bfn!

I don't like those "is it a line" threads. They annoy me. But basically anything where people get pregnant easily and then post pictures of the success annoys me. Also annoying is my friend who told everyone that the dr said she couldn't have children has just had her fourth baby, and it transpires that she grossly exaggerated. The dr said she might find it harder to conceive. He did not tell her she would never have children which is what she originally said.

WannabeMaryPoppins · 07/02/2014 21:12

I'm not surprised nobeer I would be too. Think it's a really good idea that you are going together. It's difficult understanding everything you're being told in English let alone in another language. Really hope that the results will help you to move forward. If you know what I mean

Turquoisetamborine · 08/02/2014 08:12

Ooh exciting Bugs and One, hope those lines get darker. I don't think I would have the nerve to test early. I used to throw tests in the wheelie bin before the three mins were up so I didn't have to see another BFN.

Can I ask a silly question? Do you not just get a period anyway before test date if you aren't pregnant or is your cycle on ivf not like that? I'd rather see a period than have a sympathetic nurse tell me it failed.

WannabeMaryPoppins · 08/02/2014 08:23

Not always because the hormones can stop you getting your period.

Badhairday76 · 08/02/2014 08:26

Turquoise - I think the Cyclogest bum
Bullets can delay your period on IVF, but somebody else can probably confirm this for me.

Nobeer - it's great that you will be getting your results and that your DH will be there too.

Hope everybody is well today. X

WannabeMaryPoppins · 08/02/2014 08:32

Morning all. Having a nice lazy day. Have got a bit of a headache but hoping it's the hormones & not the lurgy

Onelittlebugbear · 08/02/2014 08:53

Yes cyclogest delays your period. Don't think it usually happens until have you've stopped taking progesterone.

My line was the end of the trigger I think, and was unbelievably faint. I'm only 5dp3dt today so 8dpo. Occasionally I feel hopeful then I remember that none of the others made it, it was a slow embie at only 6 cells not 8 and they assisted it to hatch because my eggs are hard boiled. So I think the chances of a bfp are probably about 1%. Still 1% higher than when we try naturally but still, not great. There's so much against us. Even with a good embie at day 3 I think it's only about 30% chance so ours must be way lower than that.
I'm driving myself mad.

eurochick · 08/02/2014 09:38

Turq, I always find the cyclogest delays my period. Some people find that, others will get their period despite the drugs.

A lot of people feel like that about testing, so they test at home before OTD. My OTDs were work days, and they phone in the afternoon with the result. I never wanted a surprise in the middle of my work day. I could cope if it was just confirmations of what I already knew, either way.

one I tested the trigger out too. I wanted to know that when I tested it would be a real result.

Hurrah for being PUPO, wanna.

Onelittlebugbear · 08/02/2014 11:38

Got myself some super cheap tests so I can indulge my POAS habit - bfn today.

It might be early but I think something would show by now. Considering stopping the progesterone because it's giving me tummy cramps and upset stomach.

I might take a break from the board too. I don't think we will ever be successful with having a second child but I don't know how I make peace with that or how I get over feeling so angry about it.

Good luck for everyone cycling at the moment x x
