Hi all. As promised, a sparkling new thread that is going to see a lot of action in the next few weeks, I hope!

Congrats *MaryP'! How many embies have you got on board?

I feel instantly better not being at work today! I felt worse on the Buserelin than I do now, so sm not THAT ill. Got no voice though, so don't feel guilty about being away from my classroom!

That's a bit how I feel bugs. I don't feel pregnant either, but maybe it's just too soon? I am trying not to analyse symptoms because I know the progesterone is responsible.

I hope that you are wrong and can come back next week with a bfp update. I do know exactly how you feel x x

cwtching · 07/02/2014 11:21

Hooray MP that's great news!! More than enough room on this bench! Have a nice day of taking it easy. When is your testing date?

Badhairday76 · 07/02/2014 11:22

Sorry to hear you are feeling so despondent, Bugs, but remember that every pregnancy is different and that you aren't out of the game yet!

As One says, hope to hear from you next week with a BFP. And haven't you got some frosties too? Am sending hugs x

cwtching · 07/02/2014 11:30

Oh Buggs, I totally understand if you need to step away, but just know that you wouldnt be bringing anyone down - we are all here to support you whenever you need whatever the circumstances. I'm sorry it all feels a bit rubbish at the moment Sad. Don't disappear forever we will miss you.

vallinnapod · 07/02/2014 11:32

Hi all, good metalling going on here Wink

So I have decided to wait another month. I am feeling run down and hideous so think my body needs more time.

Onelittlebugbear · 07/02/2014 13:48

Another day another FB birth announcement. Sigh.

Badhairday76 · 07/02/2014 13:49

That's the best decision, Van, if you aren't feeling great. You could try to make the most of this month by being really kind to yourself.

vallinnapod · 07/02/2014 14:34

Honestly I am mentally and physically exhausted Sad

resipsa · 07/02/2014 15:28

Bugs - we'll miss you but get it. I hope you are back sooner than you think with good news, though. Remember, the drugs can play havoc with how you feel.

MP - congrats on PUPOness. When's OTD?

Val - sorry that you're below par. When will you be starting, do you think? I've worked out that my FET cycle should start on 8 March. Will we be buddies?

Had 4 friends (met through having DD) round today; all had babies ranging from 4 to 10 months. God, it's hard.

vallinnapod · 07/02/2014 16:36

You will be a month ahead of me Res. 10 months and you'll be snuggling a baby too Smile x

It's buying baby gifts that finishes me off.

When are you going to test, Bugs? How many days past 5 day transfer are you now? I got my faint BFP 6 days afterwards. If the waiting is driving you mad - why don't you test a bit earlier? I am ridiculously impatient so knew I wouldn't last until my OTD (which is on Monday). I know everybody is different but if it's making you miserable thinking it hadn't worked already, then what have you got to lose? You might have a great surprise. You are still young and have been pregnant before so your odds are good xxx

Onelittlebugbear · 07/02/2014 17:08

I am going to try not to test for a little while because a) I can live in a tiny amount of false hope and b) I don't know when the trigger will be gone. Some places say 10 days and some say 14.

I don't think I can stand having a bfp and believing it only for it to turn out that the trigger was still there.

Badhairday76 · 07/02/2014 17:08

By the way, I don't think its mean to distance yourself from those with kids. I've been a terrible friend to my my pregnant friends (which is about 6 people) but have been honest with them as to why and they get it. X

Onelittlebugbear · 07/02/2014 17:19

I'm actually ok once the baby arrives. It's the pregnancy bit I struggle with. I don't actually feel jealous over other people's babies because I don't particularly like other people's babies! I find being with pregnant friends quite hard but hardly any of them know about our problems.
As far as they are concerned we stopped at one child because I was so relentlessly sick with ds. I find it easier that they don't know...I think.

Bug it would be too early to feel at ectopic. Normally people don't get symptoms until about 6 weeks so it's not that. Put that to one side and don't worry about it x x

Onelittlebugbear · 07/02/2014 17:27

The trouble is the first weeks loads happens and then after transfer you're abandoned during the 2ww with no appointments to distract you and basically nothing you can do to change the outcome.

resipsa · 07/02/2014 17:27

Bugs - the opposite of brave, really. Rather than accepting it will probably never be me, I join in avidly with the feeding/sleeping chat as if to pretend that I need to keep abreast (no pun) of it all just in case...

You must have nerves of steel Res
Bugs just do what you need to do. We're here for you
One I know its tricky & a complete head fuck

I had one frostie put back. The Dr said that it had defrosted really well & had started to continue to develop so fingers crossed. OTD is 21 Feb.
I was given a pic of my embie & seriously considering putting it on fb Wink
