hi firststar

I'm in Oz and still up!!! although it's only 8:45pm

I just had to wait about an hour for the doctor my tests were done before, which show borderline thromophia and lupus, but they said the thrombophila would be neg on repeat probably just done to close to m/c.
I also have borderline hypertension and they said to get that in check with gp, i guess i'm lucky not to have anything major but feel like i am sitting on a rickety fence !!!

How are u today?

Angsthase · 12/09/2006 12:03

Hi Uki, sorry you had a crap time at the consultants. They can be so insensitive and clinical.

No news here, just trying to stay saintly lifestyle-wise for my 2WW. No alc, light exercise and good food.

We'll see what it brings.

But very bored of the whole process. I think if I already had a child I'd give up. I always wanted 2 and wanted them to be girls. Now I'd just be incredibly grateful for 1 of any description! Amazing how your expectations change to match your desparation!

Hello everyone..

Edie- no beds- good god what's it coming to? I feel for you- it's like a hellish limbo isn't it. |It will be over soon love and you can try to move on.

Uki- I'm so sorry they can't give you any answers - is it perhaps harder to be told there's nothing wrong with you/ we can't treat you- go away and be successful? We all kind of want a problem to be diagnosed/ treated and bingo! When they say that they don't know you must think- jeez well how the hell will i know? On the up side though it could mean it's very positive ie/ you're healthy -so's your OH and it's just a case of trying and it WILL happen.

Firststar- I am happy you af is due and believe me when i say that i have rarely said that to another woman-lol- then you can get down to real business but without obsessing. How hard is that? Keeping my toes etc crossed for you.

I'm joining Angsth in the 2 ww shortly- cd 14 today for me. But as I don't know when i ov i'm on a bd'ing roster of every other night from cd8 until cd 20. that should do the trick.

Uki

Heard of a lot of people having lupus on here, maybe it is quite common but not something people would usually be tested for? xx

Good afternoon ladies-

Edie- enjoy you're break this w'end it you can ..do you have crampy pains now..it could start naturally - how would that be for you? I have had a natural mc if you have questions- i don't mind at all- it's funny but i do mind in real life- but on here you lot are suffering the same as I am/have and I eally want to help if i can xx

Uki and Firststar- I have my dp on a vit regime too...he is taking zinc and vit c for super sperm!! i read zinc is good for women too- so I'm topping mine up- as well as multi vit/ folic acid/ grapefruit juice- may try Royal Jelly too...I have shares in Boots- lol!!!

My bd'ing 'regime' is going sooo well this month-sorry if tmi- but we have managed cd 8/10/12/13/14 and today is 15!!! i am kn*d, but like the soldier i am i will go on [ hums war tune ] As I don't know when i ov I have to cover all the bases until perhap cd 22 then i can relax. Funny thing is I am relaxed this month- i feel differently about things, maybe b'cause I have the consultant appt in Oct and i know the ball will get rolling again.

NICKI - i hope you're ok, haven't heard from you in a while- keep in touch!!

What happeneing with Rubles and Juicy Lucy(Angsthase)...how are you both?

All my best wishes to you all xx

edie123 · 13/09/2006 18:07

Andi

Yes I have had some crampy pains but they keep coming and going. Don't know what I would prefer really. Wanted to swim at weekend but don't mind not being able to. However am booked in for three hour spa but im sure it will be ok. Haven't bled even a tiny bit the whole way thru this preg and mc so would be unlucky to start in that three hours! I just hope it isn't really painful xx

edie123 · 13/09/2006 19:44

PS

Have just been reading the other thread about ttc in Jan. Andi I have two cats and love them to death.

Just been out to buy some grapefruit juice and more vit supplements as was running low.

HATE grapefruit but willing to try anything to speed it up!!

GOOD LUCK Everyone xx xx

andi0411 · 13/09/2006 21:07

Hi Edie- I hope it stays away for you- at least until after your break then at least you'll be at home and better able to cope. You would be mighty un lucky for it to come in those 3 hours -what treatments are you having in the spa- poss pop a panty liner in your pants for peace of mind. xx

Ps I have 2 cats too- Tinky and Winky-, they're my little loves. Little sisters. Cat lovers unite!!!

edie123 · 14/09/2006 08:31

Well it isn't a tretament as such, you spend three hours wandering around all the different rooms such as steam, sauna, footbaths, ice fountain etc so you have to wear a swimming costume/bikini which would make wearing a pad difficult if I got wet. Just gonna have to keep an eye on things. Looking forward to it! Also having a swedish massage and horseriding session.

No pain or anything today. How are you? xx

edie123 · 14/09/2006 08:33

BTW

I have mother and daughter cats, Eden Bean and Phoebe Bean. Edie (I named myself after her for MN) is grey and long hair and Phoebe is a mackeral tabby, goodness knows how they are related! Love them to bits xx

Hope your AF comes soon. Yeah weekend is just what we need! I thinks it what we all need actually!!

Good luck xx

Juicylucythe2nd · 14/09/2006 11:31

Due to popular demand I've given in and changed my name. But don't want to confuse you all!

Hope you have a great w/e Edie and you stay pain etc free.

Andi, sounds like you'll be keeping busy for the next week

Happy Thursday everyone!

Angsthase

Uki · 14/09/2006 12:16

Afternoon all
lets see if i'm right when the time pops up.

Congrat's Andi on the bd regime, what an effort. I like your attitude too. I think babies just come when they are ready and probably a little more unexpected than expected

Hi Firststar it is spring here all though still a little cold at night, as i live in the country on a small farm, made the move from the big smoke-sydney 2 months ago and loving it, daffadils and blossoms everywhere.

Edie hope you have a nice time at the spa/massage, sounds lovely.

juicylucy-can i ask why the name change, i've never changed my name, is it for privacy?

Hi Girls

I am still here, I have my scan tomorrow and they will decide what to do then.

To be honest at the start of the week I was a bit of a mess and thats when it all hit me but now I'm past that I just want to get on and start trying again!.

Still not sure what to do with all the positive pregnancy test, I've been carrying one in my handbag since I found out and now don't know whether to chuck them all away or what to do!

How is everyone else doing? Have you got anything nice planned for the weekend?

Juicylucythe2nd · 14/09/2006 12:31

Nothing so unpleasant - comes from lots of talk about CM + EWCM and all the shinanigans with trying to get more (grapefruit juice, cough meds etc). Plus a few people had trouble with spelling Angsthase and it is a strange name really. I chose it rather quickly when I joined and on the spur of the moment chose a german word for scared rabbit. Very random. Juicylucy is much more fun.

You did want my life story didn't you
