I know its only just the start of August but my next AF is not due until 5th September ish.

Sorry to hear AF has arrived for others that have to join me but here's hoping for lots of BFP's this month.

Apparently starflower oil has lots more of the necessary stuff than EPO so is more beneficial.

coggy · 18/08/2006 19:43

Keep going Babymad!!!!!

Babymad4num3 · 18/08/2006 20:00

Will do

Dose any one else use ov-test's?

coggy · 18/08/2006 21:29

I do....and I found out that I ov. VERY late by using them.....I think they are great!

So many people BD around CD14 cos that's what they've been told by GPs etc. and it just isn't true.

Poeple who ov. around CD7 (like you maybe) or CD18 (like me) would take FOREVER to get pg if it wasn't for ov sticks.

Hi everyone
Am fairly new to this thread. I used Persona to conceive my DD last year (she's 7 months now). We'd been ttc for almost 18mths when we bought a Persona and discovered I ovulate late (about day 19-20) so had been trying at wrong time all along. 2nd Persona month we conceived! I have an appt at the diabetic pre-conception clinic (I have type 2 diabetes due to my weight) on Wednesday to get back onto insulin in preparation for ttc number 2, so will be using Persona again and hoping for the same fab results, September may be a little soon for a positive result but ya never know.
All the best to everyone else ttc.

BBWBabeLisa...can I be nosey and ask how long your average cycle is please.

BBWBabeLisa · 18/08/2006 21:36

anywhere from 30-34 days

coggy · 18/08/2006 21:43

Thank you.
I ask because I ov. around CD18/ 19 and only have a 28 day cycle so my time b't'n ov. and AF isn't considered long enough to conceive.

It doesn't sound as if you have the average number of days either but you conceived your dd fairly quickly after identifying you late ov.
That's really encouraging, thanks.

WantAbabyNOW · 19/08/2006 00:28

Good morning to everyone! I am copying my post from the clomid gang thread... I am feeling a bit lazy!

I am not going to be counting cd days anymore. Was up to cd 85 yesterday and could not stay off the loo so decided to test a day early. and............ EBFP!!!!!!!!!!!

New term--- enormous big fat positive.

It was great using the clear blue digital as I would have been stressed out about the lines. Could not believe it though! Was crying my eyes out and phoned dh and said' hi daddy'. He did not believe it either.

Spent yesterday on the phone to the hospital trying to find out if I should continue metformin and trying to find my medicare card.. which dh had all along. Saw my gp yesterday and she confirmed everything. Am approx one month, so 9 to go! Will be going back to the gp on Mon or Tues. I think will be having an ultrasound in 2 weeks also to test for down sydrome.

I AM SO EXCITED! If I can get a bfp after no period for god knows how long, then you will all get yours I am sure.

I have had that stretching feeling also. I guess it wasnt ov pains the other week after all. I was even pg when I had that horrible smear test done, even though the day after it showed up bfn.

Wow. I have no idea what I am doing! LMAO

Baby dust and my very best wishes to all you wonderful ladies!

andi0411 · 19/08/2006 00:51

i wish the the happiest and healthiest of all pregnancies...go and enjoy it girl you deserve it

Babymad4num3 · 19/08/2006 15:31

Just want to ask if anyone know if someone can ov more than once in a cycle? I tuck another ov-test and again strong pos only CD8!

coggy · 19/08/2006 15:41

I think that sometimes opks can show more than one surge.

When I used normal opk they showed I was ov. over a couple of days but when I have used the digital (more expensive) ones...they only showed one day.

Tili · 19/08/2006 16:20

CONGRATS WANTA!!!
really pleased for you made me feel a bit happier knowing that there is still hope for me to get a bfp at some point (cd48)
I wish you all the luck in the world and heres to a happy healthy pregnancy xx

desperate2bmum · 20/08/2006 10:33

good morning girls

well i am in the middle of my cycle and am due on the 3rd september (28day cycle). however monitoring my ov i am still not ovulating..so i have found out i ovulate late in my cycle cd17/18 as i was the same last month and had a 31 day cycle so im wondering if after my m/c my cycle has altered because i was always as regular as clockwork.
anyway for my 2ww i am staying off of mumsnet so i wish all of you lots and lots of BFPS and cant wait to read what you have all been up to when i come back. also another reason for this is i am starting my diet tomorrow and i have a tendency to come home from work and sit at comp reading all your posts with several choccy biscuits or bags of crisps so this is also an attempt to stop piggin out...wish me luck!!

xx

DD1ofcolandgerry · 20/08/2006 14:03

Natty1806 · 20/08/2006 18:37

evening all

Been shopping today and brought extra strenght EPO contains 1000mg and you can up to 3 a day, also brought grapefruit juice and have found some cogh medicine in the cupboard with contains that gel.???,, stuff (can't remember the name) but it is beneyln chesty cough - will that work?

Also the other vits i take are Folic Acid (obviously), Zinc and omega 3 -6 -9

If this does not work i always have the pre-seed

CD 26 so fingers crossed AF will arrive in a week so i can start using all this stuff as well as my magic beans (clomid)

Quick question - i have got green tea as i have heard this can help - how???
