My DH and I LOVE Cape Town - you are SO lucky to have lived out there.
We flew out there and then toured down the Garden Route going about as far as PE and then back again.
Beautiful.....the best holiday I have ever had in my life.
Our very good friends got married in Knysna (I think that's how you spell it!!)and we stayed on the lagoon.

I am very, very .....DH said we may go back next year for our 10th anniversary (if not pg!!!)

grrrrr bloody men.
i took my little cousin today (7 yrs) to a local farm she had a lovely day but omg how they wear you out!! i was back and forwards like a yo-yo and spent an absolute fortune!! curse the "hook a duck" "prize everytime" stands.
after spending a fiver with the guy and getting the crappiest prizes i persuaded him to let her have a pic of the better prizes...she only went and choose a bloomin rabbit mask!!! i dunno you gotta laugh at them...i soo cannot wait for my own ds/dd to do all these things with it makes me happy to do them but sad when i think i have to borrow someone elses child to do them with

I cant believe it, Ive been trying to stay away from mumsnet for a few days as DH laughing at my obsession.

Then when I return I find that everyone here has been talking about and stocking up on the same thing. Yesterday I bough my cough bottle (2nd month of using this and I saw a big improvement on ewcm last month...tmi) Then this morning I also got my preseed delivered from accessdiagnostics!!! Now I have to add grapefruit juice to my list.

Its great to see Im not on my own. I'll be checking out everyones supermarket trolly for excess cartons of grapefuit juice.

Evening ladies hope you're all well. Cd 18 today (Friday).

Haven't felt too good today- bit under the weather -stomach bug perhaps- spent all day lolling on the bed or sofa- feeling dire. No work done..aarrgghh.
Think I was also feeling incredibly low- symptoms very similar to pmt but multiplied. Tearful, sad, blue.
Ah well- tomorrows another day.

Babymad - don't worry about the other thread I referred to, it was just a post on here re the sites for pe-seed and you got them anyway.

Desperate - I wasn't planning to tell DH about the pre-seed! Maybe I am being naive but thought I could excuse myself for a minute before BD?! Didn't think he'd find the idea very stimulating!

DD1 - LOL, I was thinking the same thing about people's trolloys, it's a case of nudge, nudge wink, wink if you see the tell tale items! Mind you, my local Tesco is full of tennage mothers and people my age (32) with 6 kids - I must pay more attention to what is in their trolleys but from what I have noted so far it is mostly coke and cakes! Cheeky but true

EWCM - what am i looking for?? egg whites are clear b4 cooking and white after cooking so should the cm be white or clear?

and does that mean ov is happening?

HELP: I've got a strog pos ov-test JUST! Only on CD7-CD8 LATE LATE NIGHT! help please, i'm i going mad or is ov-test wrong!

Babymad - Not sure what to say, does seem v early. I am only on CD7 too and I have been getting quite alot of CM too but thought I'd hold off a few more days before starting to use OPKs.

Desperate - Not a silly question, the whole thing is so new to so many of us! You are looking for CM that is like raw egg white, i.e. stretchy not creamy or sticky and usually clear (though doesn't have to be). Presence of EWCM means that you are at your most fertile. It depends from person to person on how long it lasts but it should be around ovulation. Hope that helps.

thanks mrs....TMI ALERT mine is white and even though i said i wernt counting days i am on cd13 i ovd last month on cd17 so just a bit confused

Sounds like a good time to keep up the BD desperate! The next few days could sound crucial to you (sound like a horoscope! )

I also read about Evening Primrose Oil from CD1 to when you ovulate can increse EWCM (egg-white cervic mucus - which is more yellow and glupier than normal CM) - sorry if TMI
I thought that CD1 to OV counted for grapefruit juice and cough syrup too?? But don't know for defo and now confused

With the EPO definately only CD1 to OV, as can be bad news in pg.

looks like this weekend will be filled with bding have only done it on cd10 & 12 so far but have been doing it doggy style and doing handstand against the wall for 5 minutes after...talk about blood rush
was tempted to get the ov sticks out but im not...if i know when i ov and bd and then dont get a bfp il be bitterly dissapointed like last month...atleast if i dont know i can just shout at dp and say its his fault lol

I did BD this morning 4 hours before pos ov-test hopefully done the joy, get another round in 2nite then again in the morning but.............but........I wanted to try all theses wired and wonderful things out first, and we didn't do doggy which is the way to go as some "mum's-to-be" (lucky things) said !

You might fall pg without having to do all these weird and wonderful things Babymad!

You can always get ready for next month if not.

here's to lots of DBing over the next 36hrs i might be able to get 3-4 rounds in what do you think
