Congrats on the BFPs!

I think I'm in my 2ww now. Not using OPKs and only have one proper cycle to go on. If I ovulated on the same day as last month (CD18) (doubtful as no cramps) then I'm 4dpo but I think I ovulated on CD14 (purely because of cramps) in which case I'd be 8dpo.

For last 2 days I've been having cramps really low down and they've sort of moved around a bit. DTD on CD5, CD8, CD11, CD13, CD15, CD18. Have had nausea for the last few days. Boobs a bit sore but glands are raised so it could just be that.

I promised myself I wouldn't symptom spot. Ho hum.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 22/01/2014 11:14

A faint line there Munday! Go get yourslelf a FRER!! Woohoo!!

barmybunting · 22/01/2014 11:14

Munday I can see a line! Congratulations on your bfp! Are you going to do another test or wait until tomorrow?

Writer I'm sorry you are having a tough time arguing with DH. It's horrible when you feel like that and he doesn't seem to understand what is happening. I know when we were chatting to friends who are about 10 weeks pregnant, he said to DH that it isn't in his mind that often, nothing has changed for him yet so it doesn't feel quite real to him yet. I know that you are a lot further along in your pregnancy at about 31 weeks, but in many ways I think men just doesn't find it as obvious to focus on. Especially with you being ill, and home alone whilst he is at work, it must be tough. Remember that you are doing an amazing job with growing that little baby, and hopefully your DH will be able to show that as you get closer. I'm sending you a hug and Thanks that today is a better day. Well done for telling him how you felt last night, it's hard to do that sometime but having it out in the open makes it easier than bottling it up. Enjoy the cinema tonight and I hope you have a lovely time together!

MundayCakes85 · 22/01/2014 11:18

Thanks everyone! Will do a Digi tomorrow as AF would be due then.
Barmy I think that man talked a lot of sense, men are strange creatures but they aren't going through the same experience as us. It's not an excuse but I see my DH as practice for when I have real children!! Grin

MundayCakes85 · 22/01/2014 11:20

Writer hope you enjoy the cinema tonight, only 9 weeks to go until nights out will be a distant memory Hmm sending you hugs and chocolate to get through the day x

barmybunting · 22/01/2014 11:22

Munday I know exactly what you mean, they just experience it differently. I say that knowing how much they also want kids, and many of them are very tuned into the process, but it must be different to go through the process as a man and that will inevitably cause a difference of opinion in such stressful circumstances!

Lovecuppy · 22/01/2014 11:23

Wow looks positive munday! Hope the digi confirms it for you :-)

Thanks for the stats up date writer not many of us left waiting now!! Sorry about your argument and hope you have a lovely time at the cinema tonight

mrsb87 · 22/01/2014 12:46

Yay munday that's definitely a line!! go get yourself a superdrug test, that gave me a nice clear line this morning.

Writer men are strange creatures and probably doesnt even realise the amount of changes and stress your body is going through. Sounds like he needs a reality check that he is as responible as you for that child and that he needs to adjust his life accordingly!

SoMuchFruit · 22/01/2014 13:15

Congrats Munday - that definitely looks like a BFP!

Sazzle thats lovely, the way you told OH Grin

AF (or something like it - very crampy, I never usually have cramps) showed up this morning so no need to POAS for me. That's a 32 day cycle Vs my usual 30days so maybe we'll be back to normal now ? I hope so. Can only wait and see.

Not going to be 'active' about ttc this month, not, not trying but not trying IYKWIM Confused as I don't want to be all freaked out about it when I want to enjoy our holiday at the end of the month.

I am a bit sad that AF turned up but also a tiny bit relieved as the worry of another MC while we are away would definitely make me very twitchy.

Anyway, here's to not, not trying until March! I'll pop on and see how everyone is doing though - it'd be like missing Eastenders not knowing how things are going - can't be done!

MrsKoala · 22/01/2014 13:15

Hi all, Thought i'd come back to say hi and see all the NUDP BFPs Grin

So who has been successful with the Koala (Madonna/Gloria Estefan) Plan?

mama31 · 22/01/2014 13:54

Congrats Munday!! :)

Hey mrskoala! I'm currently working hard at the koala plan and think I ovulated yesterday so too early to tell! But will keep you informed!

I think sazzle used koala plan twice just at the end of fertile peak, but she also went for reflexology so who knows what worked?!!! I'm hoping it was the koala plan and that I get my bfp this month!!!! If not ill be off for reflexology next month!

Sazzle that was the way I'd be planning to tell DH when I get my bfp!!!! Great minds think alike ;) awh I'm sure he is super happy!!! Lovely!!!!

mama31 · 22/01/2014 14:50

Writer I'm sorry your having a bit of a hard time with DH. Perhaps when you both calm down and have a nice cinema trip it might be useful to have a calm conversation with him about how you are feeling. Sometimes when tension is high things result in an argument and it is hard to stay calm. But maybe say to him that you understand that it doesn't impact him as it does you because you are the one carrying the little one. But that you really need him right now and would appreciate his support and that you want to be there for him and him to be there for you also.

Not easy I know! But I feel for you being so stressed it's not what you need. Hugs! Hope you feel better soon! X

bumpbangbump · 22/01/2014 16:22

Well I promised myself I wouldn't symptom spot but I need to unload this so I don't get my oh's hopes up. I am now on my 3rd day of feeling sick. Not being sick you understand, just feeling that back of the throat feeling. Yesterday I happened to be drinking ginger tea all day, and I know this is a coincidence, and I feel much less sick. Today I've been feeling it all day!!!!! I need a slap! AF/bfp not due for another 4 days...

LittleMissSunshine33 · 22/01/2014 18:24

Hi all were there no BFPs this morning or have I missed it? I was getting used to coming home to good news on here!

Writer hope you're ok :( Thanks for the updated list though! Is that just this thread?! So many people have their BFPs now gives me hope!

I bought Lloyd Pharmacy sticks today not tried them before! They are to add to my collection for my POAS marathon!

KittyVonCatsington · 22/01/2014 19:52

Great update, thanks Writer.

Not many of us left on the bus now. Am getting very impatient waiting to POAS on Friday. Very very nervous as (beware, TMI alert!) when I 'wiped' this afternoon, there was a brown tint to the toilet paper. Please no, please no, please no!!!

mrsb87 · 22/01/2014 19:56

Aaaaahhhhh kitty no! Hope it isnt the evil witch

BingoBango85 · 22/01/2014 20:15

My 48 hour (7 day early) bleed as stopped all bar some brown sludge. Not due until Monday and with hubby away I've no distractions......good sign?

KittyVonCatsington · 22/01/2014 20:56

How heavy was your 'bleed', BingoBango? I'm praying that we both are just having spotting and will go onto a healthy pregnancy!!!

The voice in my head is saying 'party's over' for me Sad. Will see what tomorrow brings.

Writerwannabe83 · 22/01/2014 21:01

Littlemisssunshine - yes, all those BFPs are just from January Smile

I've just got back from the Cinema, it was nice to spend some quality time with DH and I ate a mahoosive amount of popcorn!! I'm feeling a little better, still not myself but definitely an improvement. I'm now curled up in bed with a cup of tea and having cuddles with one of my cats. Baby is due to wake up soon as his kicks and punches always put a smile on my face so that will help too Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 22/01/2014 21:16

I'm glad you had a better evening writer. Sleep and cat cuddles, baby permitting sound like a good plan Wink

BingoBango85 · 22/01/2014 21:30

First 24 hours like a light but normal period, last 24 hours brown gunky stuff. Periods usually last 6 days and I never come early. Pointless trying not to get my hopes up as I already have!

Glad u had a pleasant eve Writer x

EnglishGirlAbroad · 22/01/2014 21:50

Bingo.....I think you need to poas on Monday! (maybe earlier!)! Sounds a bit like i/b to me! Here's hoping!
Kitty,
yours sounds promising too!

OP posts:
BingoBango85 · 22/01/2014 22:05

Yes that's my intention. Monday feels ages away but prob daft to try before. Cheers

Keepingmyconvertible · 22/01/2014 22:19

I'm out, AF decided to go back to 23 days so I'm off to join the Feb bus. Good luck to everyone that's left!x

missmrsmummy · 22/01/2014 22:29

Same, Keeping, but it means the 2ww is shorter!
