I also POAS this morning but bfn :( although I think mine was too early so will try again at the weekend ... and next week (prob every day from now really). Any suggestions of good cheap pg sticks I could buy??

AF not due until Fri so know its early but just don't feel upduffed. Just feel very tearful which normally means AF is imminent.

Writer, no worries about the stats, they'll keep. How are you though? I hate fighting with the OH it is sucjh a horrid feeling. I remember a big fight when I was pregnant with my first and worried he baby would hear it all in my tummy

Well yes weirdly i had an appointment booked for Monday to discuss my next stage in working out what to do next about my infertility!! (Being over 35...just! And ttc for over a year) So I'm keeping that one and going in with good news instead! I'll only be just over 4 weeks but it'd be nice to get the ball rolling...

Ah sazzle that will be awesome to just stroll in and tell them you don't need their infertility drugs!
Writer I hope you and dh are all kissed and made up now? Dh and u will have a full on shouting match and then its fine, doesn't seem to last longer than a day.

I took another test today to confirm my suspicions and got a much clearer bfp!

Congrats sazzle and mrsb...so great to hear your news, sorry I've not read back so congratulations to any I've missed too! I'm 13dpo so awaiting af (BFP!) feeling a bit scared as for the 1st month I've pinned all my hopes on a BFP and kind of kept telling myself this will be it, it's our 4th month and I thought it'd have happened by now...so I've been putting off work decisions etc, and just found out dh is going to be away for at least the next 4 weeks, so no chance...aghhhh! Why do we do this to ourselves?! Anyone else testing tomorrow or Fri?

I ended up doing 3 tests all clearblue bfp inc one digital which confirmed I was 2-3 weeks since conception, have been to doctors and I'm 5 weeks, due date 23rd September, can't actually believe it still though?

Somebody asked way back when I wrote my stats/bfp info that they weren't sure about EPO when ttc but I've heard it's really good for hormone balance and production of cm hence why I have it a go natural-fertility-info.com/fertility-evening-primrose-oil.html there's quite a bit on the net.

Finally... THINK I ovulated yesterday!! Waiting for FF to confirm, but had a dip yday and now its risen! 2more rises and I can breathe a sigh of relief. If not I might cry!!

Thanks kitty think it was me that asked about epo. I used to take it to balance my mood (pmt) but stopped so I've started it again today. Feeling a bit sorry for myself this morning. It's my bday and just not feeling anything other than drained. Flo can just go fu*k herself. Having the mother of all periods. That's 2 hideous ones In a row. Usually I get alternate horrid ones so feeling a big hard done by on the bday front.

Thanks everyone, we've been arguing a lot lately if I'm honest. I'm just stressed I think. I've been signed off for 16 weeks now, I spend all day in the house on my own fretting about the baby, the pregnancy, my health and the birth. All the complications I've had haven't helped. I'm up the hospital all the time having appointments to monitor me, I'm carrying all the stress and burden whilst DH's life hasn't had to change at all. I feel knackered all the time, I hardly sleep, I'm also severely anaemic too now and it's all just getting to me. I've honestly nearly walked out on my DH about 3 times so far. I'm dreading the baby coming because my DH hasn't got the faintest idea of how much chaos our life is going to be thrown in and how much I'm going to need his help and support and how important it is going to be that he's at home with us: according to our conversation last night he doesn't see why he can't just continue his life with the same carefree will that he does now whilst I'm just left on my own with the baby all the time. I can't tell if he is being incredibly naïve or just a selfish twat. Last night I just lost it with him. I actually nearly threw a plate at him I was so angry. We haven't really made up as such. We are going to the cinema tonight but if he thinks that changes any of my feelings towards him then he's wrong. So much for pregnancy/arrival of baby being one of the happiest times of your life. I feel alone, miserable and spend too much time crying.

Anyway - sorry for all the negativity after what has been a lovely few days on the bus. I'm going to update the list now because there have been loads of changes. I don't dare leave it another few hours, I won't be able to keep up wit you all

Oh writer I'm sorry your dh is reacting like that. I don't think it's uncommon though. Our bodies go through so many changes when we're pregnant and it's natural for us to feel differently to them as we are carrying the baby and have such overwhelming feelings from the minute we get that bfp.

I really hope your dh is different when the baby is born and he can bond with it. My ex dh was not actually very good when my ds was a baby, I had an emergency c section and I remember him picking me up from hospital, taking me home and leaving me in bed and off he went back to work!!! He did get much better with ds when he could move around and started talking.

Oh Writer, I really feel for you. Sorry your dh is being a pleb! I'm sure once the baby is here he'll be completely different. I can imagine it must be hard for men to connect to the pregnancy, because its not happening to them. They've done their job. But you are having a tough time and think he probably needs a bit of a gentle or not so gentle reminder!!
