Evening all! Better I've got everything crossed for you that it was just a random bleed and not a mc. But if you're saying the cramps are getting worse I would try and get seen tomorrow. Like Hungry said, maybe ring midwives again and see what they say?

Hungry I'm not surprised you're shattered if you're up for 3 hours every night! Are you getting any sleep during the day?

Well my friends' little boy was just so adorable, and very chilled - not like my DD was at that age... I was so tired though and felt really sick, so I couldn't enjoy myself as much as I'd have liked to. Still, I'm glad we went.

Not looking forward to having to go into London for a work conference tomorrow though. Think I might have to head to bed shortly to try and recharge my batteries!

Metalhead, sounds like a lovely day. I agree you should egg an early night though. Sounds like a long and tiring day tomorrow. :-/

And no, I don't sleep during the day. :-( I wanted to the other day but DD is teething and wouldn't sleep so I couldn't!

I'm quite achey / sore on the right hand side, but seems too high up to be pregnancy related, but I'm not sure. Wondering if I should call the EPU tomorrow. I'm at the hospital anyway, so it might be worth at least asking if they think I should be worried.

hungry I feel your insomniac pain! im waking ip at 3-4am starving lol its fine when your at home but last night all I had to munch on was some complimentary border biscuits haha spa treat was lovely even if I did fall asleep 10 minutes into it - the therapist iuld have gome for her lunch for all I knew haha!
so im now in the 30's gang time to start using thst eye cream s little more regularly xx

Are you home now Hungry? DId you have a nice time? Pain doesn't sound like much fun, neither does not sleeping! It's all just fun and games isn't it this conception/pregnancy stuff! Might be worth asking someone tomoz if you can about it. Have you got those body pillows in bed with you yet? they helped me get a bit more rest, but I did suffer with insomnia alot when pg. Which is strange because I love my sleep and could sleep for my country! Luckily DD seems to be taking after me....

I had a pretty emotional day yesterday. It all just got a bit much and I couldn't seem to stop crying. I ended up telling my parents too, my mum could sympathise easily with me, she had a horrendous time when starting out a family. I'm not feeling confident for this month, so am really going to throw everything at it next month, hopefully I can convince DH to lay off the booze, he's not a heavy drinker but likes a beer every few nights, but I'm thinking sober as a judge all month, minimal caffeine, no processed foods etc etc. It can't hurt for one month and if it doesn't work then at least I know I've tried. i also will book a Drs app if this cycle is a fail in the hope I can tempt fate.

Lucy, yes, we're home now, thank god. I think you're right about the pillow. I must dig out 'the Labrador' (named because of how much room it takes up in the bed) as it hurts to lie on my side. That could be the problem, actually. You're a genius!

DS is 22mo, unplanned, so not used to TTC at all.
We planned to start TTC next month, but DTD without protection on DH's birthday earlier this month and now am really struggling to stop myself from hoping, just hoping, that I might have another surprisingly speedy conception. Haven't been doing any formal chating or OPKs just using a fertility app so not even sure if it was near to OV.
AF due tomorrow, according to app, and am rapidly losing the battle to be relaxed about TTC. We haven't even formally begun .

Have skimmed through and will try to catch up with everyone but just to say better hope you are feeling not too bad tonight. Maybe the a&e can test on Mondays even if not on weekends, so worth another call?

Morning all! Still no news here, life in limbo is starting to drive me slightly insane!!! Was in a bad mood all afternoon yesterday, tried to snap out of it but it was impossible. Still feeling a bit cr@p today, just feeling low. Anway, it sounds like most people have had a nice weekend.

Hi hazy I'm similar to you, DD was a happy accident so have not TTC before. It is also our 1st month of TTC intentionally after having a random 70 day ish cycle. Not charting/doing OPKs as hoping it happens quickly.
better hope you can persuade someone to do a scan for you today. Can you self refer to EPAU where you are?

Donna, even better...I slept all night (bar loo visits!). Think I'd got to the point where I was so knackered I wasn't going to wake up!

Great that you had a decent sleep hungry and also nice and reassuring re nausea.

Just to add insult to injury here (and more confusion) I have now got an awful d&v tummy bug :( spent the night on the bathroom floor. Have awful chills/fever & aching all over. It could be that Ive been glutened (with me having coeliacs) but impossible to know. Hoping its the gluten thing as would hate dd to get it. Thankfully my sister has taken the day off work to look after dd for me as I'm in no fit state.

Bleeding and cramps have both stopped. Now unsure if cramps were re tummy bug/ glutening!! Or if it could be incomplete MC. Rang gp this morning who said they could book me for an emergency scan tomorrow morning, but just going to leave it as the afternoon as dh has the afternoom off work & my mum has taken the afternoon off to have dd.

Sorry to hear youre feeling down lucy do you feel better for telling your parents? Everything crossed for you this month. Are you using conceive plus? Have I asked you before? Sorry if I have. My scans at 3pm tomorrow.

we're not charting or OPKing as I think DH would find it too stressful/pressured, so I'm just trying to keep track of likely OV date and DTD regularly around that! I think I should be OV between today and Thursday, so DTD last night, and will do tomorrow and Thursday too to try to cover all possibilities. Never really ttc before, as DS was conceived almost immediately my coil was removed, so I'm trying not to get too technical too early on... we shall see!

better glad that you have a scan scheduled now (and also that your sis can look after dd today). You've been through the mill in the last few days :(

No OPKs here either. I've just been using Period Tracker for the last 2 months and it looks like my cycles are 35-6 days long, boo! The year I conceived DD I'm nearly certain they were a shade shorter (DD was happy accident too). It took a year for AF to return after DD (breastfeeding) and then I went straight into the pill for 6 months so I think my cycles are still finding their feet a bit. Can usually tell when ovulation is imminent because of CM though.

Yesterday I was in Crazyland - kept thinking I could feel very slight cramping going on, tingling/stabby pain in breast and felt a bit dizzy...then realised that I must feel like this EVERY month and just don't notice. Did somebody upthread say Ttc makes them a hypochondriac? Can really relate to that. Normally I don't pass much heed to whatever little pains go on in my body. Boo to the 2ww!

Weird symptoms here... left ovary now very painful (in a good way like when I usually Ov) so maybe something is finally happening. Also feeling terribly nauseous which is not normal Ov symptom. Think I will have to do an Opk when I get home just to be on the safe side. I do not want to miss a window of opportunity (if there is one). Or maybe I am just imagining things and this all means nothing:)

Better really hope it's all bug related. Bleeds can be very common in early preg. I know what u mean bout not wanting to get hopes up though. Just want to fast forward. Though u want to get better before so take it easy.
I had tough weekend with mother in law. She is nightmare! Other than that 16 week midwife appt was good and amazing to hear heartbeat - albeit very briefly.
Think I am feeling fluttering too.

So I've now got two tracking apps on phone: lady timer which I downloaded months ago only because it was not pink and Period Tracker, with a pink flower. Can anyone particularly recommend either or any other app for tracking?
