The dreaded 2 week wait...anyone fancy joining me?

So it's my first cycle of ttc number 3. I'm only 2dpo but I'm so, so impatient!

Anyone else entering the 2ww madness? X

Two poas later and I'm unsure... There seems to be the faintest and I mean ultra faint, like I think I've worn it away looking at it line on one, and and an even fainter one on the other, that faint I'm not 100% sure it was even there to start with. Both in the bin now... I feel like chucking in the towel and having a tantrum lol. I was so sure I was pregnant, it's not my first time... In total I have had 5 preganancys, although I have miscarried 2... Previously took me 1 month Ttc with them all, I know how lucky I was... Looks like it's going to take abit longer this time. Although the others were to my exh, I am Dtd with dp now... Perhaps it will take us longer. First dc i was late by two weeks before I got a pos though. I know I ovd around the 15th this month...

Penguin it is only the 20th!! I don't think you can get a BFP until at the very very least 8dpo, but more likely 10/11 dpo. So you're not out yet xx

Sorry, I looked at the calendar wrong lol, I ovd around the 8th :( just checked my fertility app lol, sorry dimbo moment earlier I think. Thanks, but I am guessing I'm out this month. How are u sebsmummy?

Ah ok. Are you using really sensitive hpts? I was getting a faint line with a sensitive at 12 dpo. Hope you line gets darker xx

I'm very good actually. My brown discharge is now very very light so if seems as though my body was just getting rid of some old blood and hopefully it will settle down now.

I'm having an awful time. Thought my AF should start some time over the weekend but nothing. Don't even feel like I am going to come on either. I have had a few crampy style pains and also some really sore pains, but now nothing. And as I have no symptoms of anything I daren't even do a test as can't face the disappointment for the 12 month in a row of getting a BFN.

Have had two blood tests in last week and a bit to measure progesterone levels. Now waiting for AF so I can do the day 2 blood test. This is day 38 of my cycle. I hate that I don't work to clockwork and don't know what's going on!!!!!

It doesn't help that I went to a friend's baby shower yesterday (who got pregnant after one day of trying!), at which one friend couldn't make it cos she's due to give birth any day and another friend bought her baby along. Feel like I'm the only one struggling!!!

Hi, been lurking for a few weeks and wanted to join in, this is our first cycle of ttc, we've managed to dtd 3 times during what I think may be my fertile window (based purely on observe ring my usual cycles, no opk's or measuring bbt yet - ooh check me with all the acronyms). Am due to get my af on Monday 27th Jan and have this last week been getting all my usual pms symptoms, so keep flip flopping between thinking they aren't like my usual pms symptoms and I must be pregnant, to thinking it's just a sign af is almost here. Will be waiting until after the 27th to test, fingers crossed for all here x

Sebsmummy so pleased your bleeding has stopped, have you had your HCG levels checked or booked for an early scan? I'm hoping to have one in a few weeks. What is your due date roughly?

MissMagpie, I think you need to bite the bullet and test! I know it's hard but do it and then you will know for sure. Are you taking folic acid just in case?

I have an appointment with the doctor Friday and will tell him about the bleed. I suspect he won't refer me as he was less than interested when I went to see him re suspected infertility, do I just cannot see him leaping into action now.

I will be 5 weeks on Thursday. I think I'll pay for a private scan around 9 weeks. Due date seems to be 26th September or thereabouts. How about you? Xx

Well from the first day of my last period my due date would be 18th Sept, but going by conception dates I think it is closer to 22nd Sept. Feels like a very long time away at the mo. Good luck with your GP tomorrow, just insist on what you want. If you've bled they should send you to the EPU or give you a blood test for your hcg levels xx

Sebsmummy, I used a asda test (early test?) and a tesco test then this afternoon a first response, which I saw a tiny tiny line, but it then went after 10 mins, and was probably evap line...Going to wait for af now
I've cried at loads of stupid things, snappy and hardly said a word to dp...... Mega pmt :(
Anyone check their cervix? Mines high and hard... Anyone know what that means lol?

Penguin that's sounds good to me. Shouldn't be an evap line on the first response if was there in the time frame. Fingers crossed for you.

I'm feeling the same - snappy, moody etc much the same I do with pmt to be honest. I'm due anytime between now and Thursday......

Penguin i NEVER got an evap line on First Response

Yes I'll come and let you know the outcome :) I'm totally torn between expecting AF and expecting a bfp it really could go either way.

I've tested with a couple of Internet cheapies which have shown faint pink lines but after the time so most def evap. I have one first response left which I'm holding out to use on at least Wednesday.

It's really comforting reading all of these posts and seeing it's not just me or tenterhooks over analysing ever symptom/sign and watching the days pass frustratingly slowly! Hope it goes well at the doctors Sebsmummy, and everyone else gets a BFP super soon.

So the PMS symptoms I've been having since Friday are really sore sensitive boobs, more frisky than usual (I always get like that just before AF) but have also got quite a persistent pain/ache in my left ovary area, which is very similar to what I usually feel around the time I think I ovulate, but this time it's lasted for 4 days and it's sharper than usual. So obvs being the big bag of neurosis that I am, I've been in a googling frenzy and found out that it can be quite common to get a cyst straight after the egg is fertilized in the ovary that it came from, which could cause the pain. Anyone know of this or had this, or get ovary type pain just before their usual AF? Not sure if I am over analysing all usual PMS symptoms in a new light as ttc and that I normally get this or whether it's new! Sorry couldn't sleep, feel good getting that off my chest. My hubby is snoring blissfully unaware next to me. Xx

Today's 9 days DPO for me. Tested on an IC (tried to resist but couldn't!!) and got a BFN :( feeling AF type pains today so feel a little down about the whole thing - silly I know!!

So... It's 13dpo and 3 days before my af is due and I have just tested with a first responce early test, and it's a sold neg :( gutted.
Gutted it didn't happen this month, I think mostly because it's never not happened the first month for me, and I feel like I've failed some how...
Does anyone else think I am definately out of the running this month? I was sure I would be due on af Wednesday, due to ovulating early, but it could be Friday now... My af changes between 26 to 28 days, highly annoying.
Anyway I have the day off today, so I am not going to focus on it and I am going to have a nice hot bath I think.

Thinking about it, having a mid sept baby (c-section) would be a nightmare for me anyway... So many birthdays lol.

Well, after a much-needed dose of courage from Lottystar, I did a Clearblue digital test this morning.

As I said have had no AF symptoms but no anything else either, so you can imagine my shock when the digitial display revealed I am 2-3 weeks pregnant! This is my 12th month of ttc #1 and I have even started the infertility tests with my GP such has been the lack of success and due to my irregular AFs!

Now I have another dilemma - my DH is out the country this week so I haven't told him yet as I don't know whether to tell him by phone, send him a pic of the test or wait til he gets back.

This forum is the only thing I have even breathed a word about it to! What should I do?!?!

Penguin im really sorry for your bfn. I suspect if you were pregnant this cycle you would have seen a line, however weirder things have happened. It's not over till the fat witch arrives!!

I thought I was out yesterday as I had a bit of a bleed 11dpo (I wouldn't say spotting but still not much) but it has stopped now so I'm hoping it was implantation bleeding. Other symptoms could go either way (af or bfp). Guess I'll find out in a few days when af is due. I'm going to try not to test until Saturday, although I think I could test earlier (and I might have to!).

Massive congrats miss magpie, I had a feeling you were! That's fab news, How to tell your DH is a tough one, do you want to be there to see his reaction? Are you able to wait and keep a lid on the news until he is back?

Congrats on the BFP!!!!! How wonderful! I would wait until he is home to tell him, but it would really play on my mind to send the pic. It's a tough one.

Sebsmummy, with my first I was two weeks late before a line came up... So I am hoping it's the same story. I had even been to the docs and had tests there and they said neg too... Now dc is 7! Although I suspect you are right, and I am now waiting for my af. Feeling abit better about it now than earlier though.
