Eeek! Absent minded test looks positive!!

So I went to the loo earlier and despite convincing myself this wasn't the month for some reason I thought I'd do a cheapy test any way. I did a couple last month that were negative so I know what one of those looks like but this one had a faint pink line!!

As I wasn't expecting that I didn't really pay much attention to time etc or thought it might be a faulty test so i've just done another two and got the same thing!

We're in the third month of trying for our first so I totally had a little mini freak out. Is that normal? I've calmed down now but I suddenly realised this is all so real now! Trying not to get to excited as my sister has had a few miscarriages but generally Yay!!

OMG AprilS massive congrats :) - I have literally just come on here to write the same thing!! We have been trying for 3 months, last month I was sure I would get my BFP as thought I had lots of symptops; this month I've had no symtoms and wasn't sure I'd even ovulated as no sign of ewcm (sorry if TMI!). Had one test left from pack last month and AF not due for 3 days so really didn't expect too much and I've just got the faintest line but it's DEFINITELY a line! Can't wait for DH to get home, so excited!!

bigbangfan Congratulations to you to! I had the same last month, Really thought bfp for sure! Then Af was about 4 days late which is weird for me. So now I'm not sure when af would be due this month its sometime between now and 21st I guess. Not been paying to much attention as we were still in early days of trying. I've been showing DH but he didn't see the negatives last month so I think hes struggling to be to positive about it but hopefully tomorrows will be better. :)

Just put a picture in my profile of the tests for anyone who fancies line spotting. Did it from my phone though so it just looks like a blury mess my end.

You sound like me this time last year, did a cheap test on Xmas eve just to make sure i wasn't pregnant yet (only been trying for a few weeks so expected a negative), and i got a very faint pink line. 8 tests and a clear blue to confirm later - i was designated driver that night! DS is 4 months!

Ah congrats same thing happened last week!! Except we have been trying a long time! But still bfps all the same!! Done a test again yesterday and do strong now :) xx

Well today I did the superdrug one am which was the strongest positive yet but then did an internet cheapy just now that was barely there or negative (not sure if I'm seeing things) think I'm going to leave it be for a few days and see what happens.
I've had dull cramps and nausea all day though so that could either be a good or AF sign I guess. :/

I think internet cheapies are generally much weaker! I didn't get strong positive until day af was due on them and even then much weaker than other brands! I'm sure all is okay!

Get yourself a digital one and make it certain. Have you told dp/dh yet or will you keep it for a Christmas day surprise?

Congrats to you too Feelingfatty! I've just done one of the digital tests today after getting a v faint line last night and it was there in black and whiite - Pregnant! So happy and DH finally believes me lol!

congratulations jack! This must be the lucky thread atm! I was so shocked as well; zero symptoms this month and had convinced myself the test would definitely be negative! Am super-excited but it's such early days I daren't get my homes up too much. Doesn't feel real yet but I'm sure it will when symptoms start kicking in!

Feelingfatty - these internet ones are the same strength as the superdrug ones i've got which apparently are quite good. I'm going to do the other SD one i've got in a few days then if its still looking good i'll splash out on a clear blue.

Jaqulinehyde - told the Mr as i wouldn't be able to control myself! Hes loving having sticks i've wee on thrust in his face with me going 'look at this line!!!' Not :P

Now I just have to play the waiting game. I don't know exactly when I should be expecting AF as I was late last month.
