Am I Seeing Things???

I absolutely thought I was out this month because when I predicted I would be ovulating my DP was away for the whole week working.

AF due today but hasn't appeared, had no symptoms of either a looming BFP or AF at all other than a few cramps, nothing like what I'm used to and no leg cramps which is very unusual for me.

I decided, out of hope more than anything, to do an IC HPT this morning and to my complete surprise I got what I think is a very very faint line with FMU. I didn't have time to do another one this morning but I did do one when I got in from work at about 17:15 and the line appears bolder than with FMU.

I have attached a pic of my FMU test (top pic - admittedly looks much fainter than it did in RL) and a pic of my test this evening at 4 minutes (middle) and again at 9 minutes (last). I would be so grateful if someone who was impartial could have a look at the pics and give my their opinion. I think I'm seeing what I want to see and the lines (if there are any) could well by evaporation lines. But in all honesty, wouldn't be surprised if no one else can see them, as I say, had already counted myself out this month a couple of weeks ago!

It works.
I can see the lines, but they look a bit grey on my phone so wouldn't 100% rule out evap. Having said that I've never had any line whatsoever, not even an evap.
I'd definatly try a FRer if you are due your period today.

Thanks all they do look grey on the the pics but they look more pink in RL. I bought two FRER today so I'll do them in the morning. I'll definitely keep you updated xx

Buttery, I got a digi test today as well! Spent nearly £40 on HPT today so I'll be be definitely making use of them! Xx

hi there - Im just in your same shoes at the moment with HPT tests and wondering if mine are evaporation lines or faint bfps - Ive had a look at your photos and they look similar to mine although mine this morning are dimishing in colour intensity which Im really worried about

Fingers crossed for you that it all works out - they look very similar to mine - if I was more technical I would be happy to post mine up to show you but wouldn't know where to start with the whole uploading on to the pc - so sorry! your tests look promising to me if they arrived within the allocated time - I think my HPTS have to be within 5 minutes - am getting confused as to exactly how long as have done a few brands but just check the instructions and if its within the allocated time a line is a line and is positive - anything after should be disregarded apparently

I've been keeping an eye on your thread blue and I really hope everything turns out positive for you

Th IC I use say a positive can appear within 1 minute from 5-10 minutes and anything after 10 minutes might be invalid, so they are in the allotted time. The line does become stronger though the longer it's left, but I'm disregarding this. I am going to do a FRER in the morning and then do a digi if that comes up positive.

Not even told my DP as I don't want to get his hopes up so I'm trying to contain my bubbling excitement.

I will report back in the monring, hopefully with good news, if not, then I'm at a 30th on Friday and I will have free reign to get very drunk! Not sure how I will explain my not drinking away though, I'll cross that bridge if I come to it xx

This might seem like a daft question, but as I want to use my FMU for the FRER and digi, would it still work if I pee in a pot so it can be reused and dip in or will I have to POAS? The IC I've been using, I've had to pee in a pot xx

BFP!!!!! Digi confirmed 1-2 weeks I'm shaking. I honestly was not expecting it this month and even gave my DP a hard time about making sure he wasn't working away when I thought I would be ovulating this month!

I can't believe it!!! Can't tell my DP until tonight. Today is going to be a very long day!!
