Is it possible to be 11-12 woks and get BFNs?

Ok, so I'm driving myself mad. We weren't ttc. However, I've been feeling for a while now like I'm pg. I have 3 DC and some of the signs are similar. We used protection but of course contraception can fail.
I have done numerous tests over the last few weeks and all have been neg. Some of the tests had a super faint hint of something but so faint that I assumed must be evap lines as no colour to the line and could only be seen when held up to the light and looking very hard.
Anyway, so I accepted I'm not and tried to move on. Tonight I was lying down watching tv and felt a sensation like fluttering, you know, the feeling you get when you first start feeling baby move.
I looked on the calendar and we would have last done the deed around 11-12 wks ago.
I honestly feel like I'm going mad. What is going on?!!

Foggy, I had a 2 day bleed, no cramps in sept, then again 50 days later (just over 4 weeks ago). No periods before that as am bfing.

Just read the thread - very intriguing. Is the 'wriggly' feeling always in the same place? I felt my latest DC around 13 weeks, that midwife was talking bollocks.

Can you wait 'a few weeks'?! Is there any way you can make the 60 mile trip to get a scan?

Sorry you didn't get any definite answers OP, but at least the wheels have been set in motion and hopefully you won't have to wait too long for your scan. Keep us posted!

Yes bubble the movements are all around the same area.. Mostly about halfway between my pubic bone and belly button.

Can't really afford the private scan what with Xmas coming up etc so I'll just have to wait I guessSad

Dr didn't mention a blood test.. I'll be happy with the scan, just hope it's soon..

WhatsTheCrack, I have looked at a lot of pregnancy tests, I bought 50 of the internet cheap tests for about £3 when I was TTC and in the early days of this pregnancy would do 3 in one go, sticking all 3 of them in the pot of wee at the same time. I got my first BFP very early, so I had super faint lines at the start.

I can definitely see the line on your pregnancy test that you uploaded. Had to zoom in, but I can see where it's shaded and it's in the right place for a positive. Because it is so faint and as there is no colour, I wouldn't be convinced that it wasn't an evap line, but it's def there, and it's def in the place I would expect for BFP.

How incredibly annoying that you aren't really any further forward with midwife and GP. I hope that it isn't too long a wait for the scan.

Thanks impatiently.. I'm starting to think maybe it was an evap line.. Very faint and hard to tell if it had colour or not.
So hard to know what is real at the moment. I just went to the loo and more blood, not sure whether it's gonna be another short 'period' or if it's an actual period, or of it's from the dr poking about.
I was 95% certain I was pg this morning, now I feel less sure. The movements I've been feeling are so so realConfused

A mad thought....but could you go to a walk in clinic and say that you think you're 11-12 weeks preg and bleeding.....they will normally do a scan to check....

Busy, I did that when I was suffering pain on one side whe around 6 weeks pg and was concerned about ectopic. The first thing they did before they scanned me was do a pregnancy test...

Busy - I live 60 Miles away from anywhere that would have one. The scan clinic only runs once a week here I think but it's not walk in, just appointments.

No worries busy, I'll update as soon as I have an answer. Still bleeding a bit. Starting to wonder what this means.. Period? Bleeding from dr poking around?

So far it's quite heavy, might be might period.. Will see how long it lasts. Still feeling wriggliness now and again though so still want a scan to see what's going on.
The sonographer mentioned a fibroid when I had DC 3, maybe the 'movements' are something to do with that?

All things considered it sounds like it might be your period. (There seem to be a lot of weird cycles/periods going around at the moment, must be something in the water!)

It's looking likely, it is still a little strange, more like the fresh blood when you cut yourself than what I'm used to. Maybe that's just what they're like now they've possibly come back. Can still feel the strange sensations thoughHmm

I'm ok busy.. I think this is my period but I still keep feeling this weird feeling down there.
Possible uti seems to be getting better.. Sore tummy and bladder is no fun though, sat here with a hot water bottle..
I wonder what it can be.. Hopefully the scan will clear it up.
