Sazzle I'd wait til Friday. But depends how you would feel about a negative test?

Honeybear I would be gutted now about a neg test, more so than just being caught out by AF. Anyway I didn't test this morning, I will wait and see if it arrives today and if not ill test tomorrow because I have a potential big night out fri and need to check before drinking!!

Morning! I've stumbled across this lovely thread as sitting at home with a busted foot after falling down the stairs on Monday. TTC # 2 for 5 cycles. Took 12 cycles for DD who is nearly 15 months. AF due yesterday and I'm trying very hard not to get excited. Don't know when to test, can't go and get test anyway as I'm on crutches! It's torture!

Welcome Honky ah poor you falling down the stairs! Hope you're better soon....can you ask your partner to bring you home a test!!! You have to poas! :)

Thanks spinningirl it's no fun being at home by myself, DD has been banished to extra days at nursery because I can't pick her up. I did speak to DP about absence of AF this morning whilst he was trying to balance / hold me up in the shower oh the glamour! I had really irregular cycles Pre DD so he's not joined in the excitement (even though its been bang on regular since DD) maybe I will ask him to bring me a test tonight!

Congrats to all the bfps!! Haven't posted on this thread for a while, need an expert opinion on what this sounds like:
This month I have had weird pains quite frequently, sometimes it's like a period pain that lingers, other times it's like a sharp jab to the pubic area! Also had some dull lower back/coxyx (sp??) pain in the last week or so. My period isn't due til like 5th/6th dec. Am I symptom spotting or could this be something?? Not got any pregnancy tests because I know I shouldn't be testing but it's doing my head in not knowing! Last time i dtd was 6th nov on the same day my last period started and I ov'd between 6-8 days later. This makes me think I missed 'the window' but part of me is telling me that there is no set time to get pregnant and it can happen at any point in the month.
Just wondering what the experts think??

Hi Hibou. It's really difficult not to symptom spot because that's all that's on our minds all the time!! I would say though if you've been having all these different symptoms at different times during the month it's probably not a sign of anything. If you weren't TTC you would probably not even consciously notice them. Having said that, here's hoping you have a BFP soon... I am in the camp of waiting until after AF is due. All those BFNs can get confusing and disheartening. Fingers crossed for you.

Honky, I would deffo ask him to get one! Then if you could hold off testing till weekend(easier said than done!) then you have it there ready!

Oooh broody and honky we are in the same boat! I'd leave my testing til the weekend if I could because I hate the anticipation of a poas moment. But I have a potential large night out Friday and need to know!! Oh god it's so hard when AF is late as hope starts to creep in.... FX for you ladies too, late is good, but not a guarantee either!

Hi honky I'm testing tomorrow because ill be 15dpo and one day late. If AF doesn't show today it's going to be hard to keep myself from getting hopeful.... Eeeep!

I know what you mean! AF will be two days late for me tomorrow but I'm still hesitant to test. I didn't book my first pregnancy until 13 weeks as I didn't want to jinx it and the midwife had a right go at me!!

I think it's hard not to start getting your hopes up. Especially if you have quite regular cycles. I'm tempted to even test this eve to put myself out of this what if feeling. But if I can hang on til tomorrow I know that would obviously be even better!

Sazzle do you think you could hold out to poas on Friday? I'm trying to wait until then.. I will be 19dpo and 3 days late! I tested last Fri at 12dpo and on Sunday at 14.. And bfn so trying to hold out!

I can't believe you went 13 weeks before a first appointment!!

It was quite a long time to wait but I'm in the business so I knew the little bean was ok (secretly scanning myself in a locked room). I didn't want to get the yellow book then have to hand it back.
Poas is definitely on the back burner for the time being. Just been called back to A&E turns out they missed a fracture on my X-ray. Bum.

Good luck girls waiting to poas...hope you get the BFPs!! I'm out for this month..AF arrived this morning (sorry Sara I can't be your poas buddy tomorrow...I will have my fx for you all the way though!) Can't believe I'm already on to cycle 3, doesn't feel too bad, I haven't got upset about it...at the same time I can't quite imagine the BFP showing up one day! Maybe all 1st timers feel that way. Back from A&E with a moon boot. I thought I would ask DP to get a test so we could all do it together tomorrow and he said no, not for another 10 days. WTAF?!

I'm out. The mega bitch got me this evening after toying with me all day. I'm hopping onto the December bus. Lucky cycle 13 coming right up.
