Yes spinning I do, the cheapo one step ones from amazon. Cheap as chips and no problems for me so far - I ov'd at the weekend woop

I haven't used the cheapy ov sticks...think I will next month if this month doesn't work out. This month used the cb digi smiley face ones, expensive but seemed great, easy and as 1st time I'd tested for ov I wanted to be sure if that's possible!!) they showed ov on cd 13/14 (seemed too textbook so made me suspicious- can't win really, if ov is day 14 I complain and if it had been different I'd complain too thinking something wrong) I wonder what it was like ttc years ago before all this technology, can't decide if it was less stress or more!

If you can resist aisha, be my testing buddy at mamas party if shes hosting one. Then I won't be alone - this is cycle 1 for me so a bit nervous...

Ok, I cracked and got a digi for the morning just to be sure. Thank you for all your support, I've only used MN for info and wasting hours on AIBU, I've never joined a lovely chatty thread before. You are a great bunch .

No symptoms yet justhayley I've only had one AF so not sure how long my cycle might be, it was 29-30 pre baby so going on that 27th/28th. I'll keep an eye out for you I'm a worrier though and won't get my hopes up until about 38 weeks

I poas again this morning and again a bfn. For the first time ever I then cried on dh about not being pregnant

I know I am really lucky to have DS and he is truely awesome, but it never crossed my mind that 12 months down the line and 16 months since coming off contraception (my periods didn't come back til last December when I stopped breast feeding at night) that I still wouldn't be pregnant.

Sorry for whinge, just feeling a bit meh

Sara I'd love to be your testing buddy...I will resist till next Friday, only 6 more days :) af will have prob arrived by then if coming so is prob best to wait till fri anyway. It's quite nerve wracking I agree, it's my 2nd month and first bfn last month was rubbish but then I got to thinking that it was another step closer to BFP...I've convinced myself that it will def happen so every day is 1day closer...even if it takes a year (not sure I'll maintain this philosophy a whole year...)

That's very laid back Aisha...I need to take a leaf out of your book. Are you doing anything to help things along or just going with the flow? I've used opks this month but that's about it. Oh and preseed great, poas buddies it is then

Haha, I won't be laid back when I've been trying for more than 3months I bet! This month we didn't do anything v.special, just timed dtd around ov...I used the cb digi for 1st time so I know that I did actually ov we just dtd everyday for 3 days before till 2days after...last month dtd every other day for middle 2 weeks of cycle. I feel more optimistic this time as we must have dtd at the right time...so we have done our best! I think it's just a game of chance after that. I'm going to try preseed next month if this one is not lucky, I like the novelty of having a new trick every month!

Tested on a Superdrug digi which said pregnant so it feels a bit more real now! I only tested once with DD, the GP looked a bit when she asked how many tests I had done.

spinning the meet up was great, it was through the MN local pages. It was so nice to meet people more on my wavelength rather than suspected NetHuns I've got depression (not PND) so I am really forcing myself to confront it this time. When people are nice back it makes such a difference

Hiya, feeling a bit concerned about lack of symptoms today, I'm hating that I'm not going to be seen until Dec 5th.
I POAS again today - just encase the 2 yesterday were wrong lol got another strong positive. just want to be properly pregnant so I can relax.

Need some advice DP doesn't know were pregnant yet lol. He's in the military & away until December 6th. Do I tell him over the phone or wait till he's home? He was in Canada last time and I told him I was pregnant and then miscarried within 24 hours which was horrible, he hated the fact he wasn't with me.
Can't decide what to do this time???

With your worries from last time Hayley, if he's home on 6th and your app is the 5th, for your own peace of mind why don't you go to your app, then give him a brilliant welcome home gift in the form of a wrapped up bfp congratulations xxxx

Umm cutting it a bit close fly? If I'm past morning sickness and can still fit in my dress comfortabley or I've popped and recovered fairly well (God I sound vain, I'm not honest!) it'll be fine. And up until not quite mil booked photographer and stuff we could of probably pushed it back a month or so. She's a very traditional person in that sense so small wedding has turned into quite reasonable sized...wondering if should splash out and get frer and cb digital on Monday if still no af? Am 12dpo aprox and still bfn on internet cheapies. Reading reviews on them it's entirely plausible for a bfp still well that's how I'm convincing myself lol

Spinning I have been tempted but been very goo and resisted. Making sure I wee away fmu before I can collect it! Have a busy few days so will make it to Wednesday now. I feel a bit bad tempered today though so I feel it's the beginning of pmt.... We shall just have to wait and see!

Ginger you could buy a fancy test if you like but I've heard on these threads that really it's nice to see it in words but actually the cheaper ones are just as/more sensitive anyway...

Justhayley I know you must be desperate to tell OH but yes I'd wait til he's home and you've had your appointment. And dont worry about no symptoms. With my ds I had nothing apart from a growing yum to say I was preggo. No sickness no nauseau no tiredness or heartburn or anything! I was worried it wa too easy, but all was fine. Very one is different. Hope all goes ok on the 5th. Maybe tell someone else if you need support until then? Mother or very close friend to confide in? X
