Thank you Sazzle Although I'm sorry to hear you and m33r are also nearing/at the TTC for a year or more milestone!

DH has decided this month as soon as AF has moved out we are dtd every other day for 'as long as it takes'. I'm exhausted just thinking about it, but we've tried all the other stuff, opk's, temp charts etc. and its all just gotten a bit much, so good old fashioned hitting the sack it is then.

Good luck all, now if I can just resist the internet cheapies until the 25th...

Yeah first cycle after chemical missv although I have no idea whats going on...just looked back over ff app at symptoms etc and had spotting mid month which COULD have been AF? well light af after and so maybe im testing wayyyyyyy too early infact ive probably missed the window completly now grrrr

Oh well. Not going to do any more now until a weeks time ok girls. Could someone just remind me every day I must resist please!!!!!

Thanks keepon, it is ok though - these things happen. 12 months will be a milestone but hey ho! We do at least have one kiddo so i feel lucky. I really feel for m33r trying for her first - it gets hard to keep the positive approach going after all this time.
I like your approach - we are going to do something similar this month, although I'm tired just thinking about it!!! AF has just moved on so we will see what happens!
We will be testing just days apart so perhaps we should support each other in not poas?! It will be easier said than done though - I have a tonne of those damn ICs in the house...

Not quite sure how we managed first try, I feel amazingly lucky though! We followed the sperm meets egg plan so basically just dtd every other day. I couldnt get the opks to work right so based ovulation date off an iphone app i found...

AF due today i think so waited until then - no symptoms at all yet so i was blown away when it was positive!

Yes I just have to hold off testing. I the chocolate bar was lush esp since I have been dieting for the last few weeks so enjoyed it even more :)

This morning I have had twinges in my nipples and also in my lower abdominal which kinda goes down through to my right leg. Its a very weird feeling.

LH – Defo hold off testing with your digi, just in case there's not enough thingy majig to detect it. Have you tested again this morning? Men are such pains, they just do not understand.

MASSIVE CONGRATS - JUST

sazzle trying for first is so hard and I hate how long it's taking. It's just getting harder and harder and am frankly at a loss what to do. I think maybe this month I'll get a ff, temp and maybe get preseed or similar and then dtd every other day... I dunno if that's too much but I'm becoming useless, emotional, distracted and frankly my usual sunny position is being faked!

All a bit doom and gloom from here I'm afraid. Sure I'll get sorted as I accept it's not for me this time!

m33r - i really feel for you. a second would be lovely of course, but i feel so lucky to have one child already.

i think those things sound like a good idea. i don't know but i have to feel productive each month and have a new plan or a new something to get going again...hoping that will be the miracle worker! hence why last month i bought a cbfm...
have you been to the docs yet to get checked out? maybe book that in if not, again it feels productive...
and the only other suggestion is because you don't have a child do something like book a holiday, or a weekend away roughly when your ov will happen and relax and drink fizz with your OH and try and enjoy the dtd bit! i know that is easier said than done and involves money and time off work etc, but really you can save money when you fall pregnant!

i'm here though - come and bitch and moan whenever you like. i will try and keep your chin up - i am definitely here to listen. i know what rolling into your 12th month feels like. i really hope we both get the christmas present of a bfp this month. massive hugs xx

Well ladies, I just did a cheap opk which came up immediately with a very strong positive, the line was there before the test line! So dipped the clearblue digital opk and there is was.....a big happy smiley face staring back at me!!!! whoop whoop!!! Hooray!!! :) so here we go with a few more days of dtd!!!! I will def be in a heap by Friday, there's no doubt about that now!!!

Thanks sazzle. Yeah, I've had 21 day test and it's fine. DH is fine. We're in 6-9mibth queue for hosp referral. I had a grand plan about sticking with my plan to feb then starting to think about 'living' again. Not stopping trying but stopping with the opks etc. also to start to live as I won't have kids eg decorating the 'would be nursery' rather than leaving it in the hope I can get pregnant. All very depressing but at what point do you ... I just don't know ...

Congrats everyone with the bfp's and sorry to those AF caught out... My BFP or AF is due this week. Im going to hold off an testing until AF Is officially late so there'll be no doubting if I've testing too early. But the way my chin has broke out in spots id say af was making her way to visit! :(

hi all, in a bid to "ignore" the 2WW I've been purposefully lurking in the background not logging on but caved in today and just had to say wowzers and congrats to all the BFP!!!

I'm at 8DPO today and determined not to start symptom spotting or testing early... problem is I just remembered a bunch of ics which I have tucked away in a drawer....

Flymo quick question, the 21 day blood test....my GP told me to come in on 13th nov but if I count first day of af as cd1 I should be going in on 12th as that would be cd21....confused....would this matter give or take a day?

mama, that is good news, I want to know what to expect! The doc worked it out with me as either 14th or 15th Nov, but there was only one appointment available (i.e on 14th) and that will be cd22 for me too! I normally have between 30 and 33 day cycles, which I explained to the doc. I don't think it matters as presumably "day 21" is just a guideline for them, they test for all sorts of things (I looked as she ticked them off), not just progesterone so presumably they use lots of different markers to see if you've ovulated or not. All very confusing but am hoping next week I will feel a bit more enlightened!!
