Hi girls sorry took a long time to post eventful day to say least . I went into pregnant assessment unit on Monday for a routine appointment for repeat blood test for liver prob and they were worried enough to keep me in for observation as worried it might lead to pre eclampsia again .so I had bloods again tues and scan of baby and steroids as a precaution then . I saw consultant today after some more blood tests . I need to have baby today as bloods deranged from yesterday so Edward Charles aka ted born at 16.28 on 2/7/14 weighing 7lb 7 . He took a little turn for worse and is in nicu at present so I don't have him with me as he has some fluid on lungs I'm a little distressed about this as dh is with ds1 so am on own at mo trying not to have meltdown but they say he's stable and we will be reunited in morning xxxxx

Oh mrsk so sorry to hear things have been a bit eventful to say the least, but as others have said he's in the best possible hands. Hope little Ted will soon be fighting fit and you'll be able to take him home and be a proper family of 4. Really hope you're coping ok, its very hard when all you want to do is go home. Look after yourself and shout if you need us. xxxx

Ted and I are still in hospital but all being well and teds bloods tests are ok we are going home I Am In such awe of him I can't believe he's here. he looks so much like jack as a baby

I've been following Barbie on instagram too and I'm sure she won't mind me updating that they have now moved from south Korea to Kuala Lumpur! Crazy life they have but all looks amazing!

Oh Cloud it is such an emotional time when your wee one starts school . He'll undoubtedly be fine, but it's hard when you are no longer the oracle of his world anymore. Dd1 constantly told us: "but my teacher says..." It's amazing how quickly they come on though and them learning to read is great. I remember being really excited when dd1 became a free reader and I realised that a whole new world (that I love) was open to her.
I've read Jodie picoult's 'the storyteller' this week. She weaves a great story. I really recommend it.

Ah thanks neeko you're right, I can't wait for ds1 to read! I'm also so excited to be able to read him chapter books within the next few years like Roald Dahl, Narnia and (eventually, and most excitingly) Harry Potter!!
Ah thanks for the book rec, always looking for good new ones I have a whole load on my shelf waiting to be read right now too

Had a slight stressful time at mo jack got diagnosed with Scarlet fever in Monday so panic set it that ted might get it but all being well he's has not so far gp thinks he will be fine due to him still having my antibodies from birth
