I'll join the Friday club if AF isn't here! Smile

sazzlehopes · 14/10/2013 17:01

ladies, to back up the cheap paper preggo tests i've bought would you ladies recommend clearblue or first response?
thanks!

allchatnicknamesgone · 14/10/2013 17:05

Jaykay - have you ever seen the sketch from Miranda when she farts in front of chiropractor?

I'm now building my hopes up that I didn't use fmu. Somebody slap me! I can't bear it.

jaykay987 · 14/10/2013 17:13

Sazzle - I have both! Smile Fr to use initially. CB digi when I want to see the words "pregnant"!

All chat - I think this is our week! Grin Im confident well get our BFPs togetherSmile. No slapping required!

VJONES1985 · 14/10/2013 17:16

Ooh, implantation could be 7-9dpo?? I'm currently 5dpo so come on little egg, implant this week! Please!!

Do think it's odd though that I had loads of cramping yesterday, as that doesn't make any sense at all?!

sazzlehopes · 14/10/2013 17:16

Thanks jaykay, I blame mama, she has sent me into a panic buy to stockpile tests! I use to always wait for af to just show up...there's no way I'll be able to now!

Choccywoccydodah · 14/10/2013 17:19

Right, I'm armed with pink grapefruit juice and 50mg b6 and a bottle of pink bubbles
Bring on November! But I will still be lurking here if that's ok Smile
Ds was a third cycle baby, so fingers crossed (is also my birthday beginning of november so would be a lovely pressie!)

That's it choccy. That's how I always manage my CD1. Buy loads of shit to help me for next cycle.

jaykay loving your optimism. I'm going to do my best though to not test again for a few days....I'd love to hold out until Fri now. That will be dpo 15 and period one day later. My LP has never gone past 14 days...

allchatnicknamesgone · 14/10/2013 17:46

Did anyone read the acupuncture thread. I've never done it, but if AF shows I might consider it.

panicmechanic · 14/10/2013 18:03

Help (more panicking). I have a lot of bright yellowy stretchy stuff - what is it. Omg sorry for tmi :/

VJONES1985 · 14/10/2013 18:04

Hmm, felt v positive yesterday but today I'm the opposite. Have convinced myself that my 'symptoms' are just normal hormonal things at this time (although this is the first time my cycle has been like this). Really need to calm down and accept it's unlikely I'm pregnant, otherwise I could be very disappointed! I'm only 4dpo so the chances are remote, I know.

'Symptoms' are upset stomach and nausea, tiredness, cramping/tingling all day yesterday and sore nipples yesterday.

m33r · 14/10/2013 18:04

Hi choccy. If it makes you feel any better I was also bubbling at 2.30am and didn't sleep a wink. Then spent fifteen minutes in morrisons car park crying again.

Got a neg opk today (urine maybe too dilute) which implies my possible pos opk on Saturday probably was pos and I only dtd Saturday. Will dtd again today but am thinking that I've ov-d early and prob missed the boat... Or maybe this is what I needed - to not be dtd all the time.

I dunno...

Anyway choccy I hope your bubbles make you feel better x

jaykay987 · 14/10/2013 18:15

Ooh...I love grapefruit juice!

Panic - what dpo are you again? (Sorry memory of a sieve and on phone so can't scroll back easily).
I had two rage (50p sized) globs of stretchy cm dpo8. It was cloudy and yellowish. It wasn't bright yellow though. How bright exactly? Snot like? Lemon like? high vis jacket like? Grin

jaykay987 · 14/10/2013 18:19

Think I have officially lost the plot.

I was just scanning through my notes on FF where I record everything. The norms are there.....backache, headache, cm updates etcetc.

And then I come across "itchy right leg"!!!!!! Blush
Seriously, at what point did my brain think......I MuST write that down in my fertility app!

VJONES1985 · 14/10/2013 18:19

Correct that above - I'm 5dpo, not 4 (not that it makes a huge difference!)

jaykay987 · 14/10/2013 18:25

I had seriously painful cramps on dpo5 vjones.

So bad, I actually thought Ff had got my ov date wrong by 5days! But having looked at the temps, ff was right.

Fingers crossed its implantation for us both!

allchatnicknamesgone · 14/10/2013 18:31

m33r. did you dtd before sat at all? Try not to worry. You did dtd on your O day so you still absolutely have a chance! It only takes one fella. Just try and stay positive.

HalfPintLulu · 14/10/2013 18:31

Bloody hell! So much to catch up with!

Big congratulations to BFP's! So excited for you.

I now want to poas Friday too - far too early though as am only due to ovulate today or tomorrow! Might do iit just for fun! This is catching this poas lark!!

Sorry to hear about your AF Choccy. Fingers crossed for you on the next bus and hope you enjoy the bubbles in the meantime!

m33r · 14/10/2013 18:43

allthat no we didn't dtd at all before sat. This is very sad but we try to save up for our marathon week. Marathon week just possibly came early??

As you say though, it only takes one and maybe us not thinking it would be the baby making kind would've helped??

I'm trying to keep upbeat and cross everything. If I donmt my BFP this month I'll be on opks as soon as AF goes. All sense of predictability seems to be out the window. I'll def get on it tonight.... And will try very hard not to cry anymore this month. !

allchatnicknamesgone · 14/10/2013 18:54

m33r. Well crack on tonight, but having a little cry now and then is fine!
Also, not sure this is the right time to bring this up, but saving them up is not the best for the sperm. Replenished fresh stock means better swimmers. For a healthy male with a normal sperm count, they can replenish their stock in 24 hrs, so it's probably good idea to have a few cracks leading up to 'marathon week'.
Lets hope there was a swimmer on Sat night who gets lucky :)

ItsSoFluffyImGonnaDie · 14/10/2013 19:01

Oh choccy, sorry AF got you Sad but I reckon a birthday surprise might be in order. Enjoy those bubbles!

Mama, what are you like? I'll be 9dpo on Friday too but I don't think I can bring myself to test that early, I'll drive myself potty! Grin

Congrats to all the bfps this month, some are 1st cycle too so makes me feel like I have a chance! My DH thought I was nutty coming off the pill in February in preparation but I'm thankful that it gave me time to learn my cycles.

sazzlehopes · 14/10/2013 19:01

halfpint - oooh we are on similar parts of our cycle - i am ovulating today or tomorrow as i got a peak on my cbfm this morning! someone to sit next to on this chatty bus! hooray! despite the thrill of poas i'm being realistic and holding off til next tue/wednesday - want to join me then?!!

jessieagain · 14/10/2013 19:05

I think I might join in poas on Friday! I will be about 12 dpo then (although af is not due till around the 25th) but am feeling very unusual and a little optimistic Grin

m33r · 14/10/2013 19:08

Thanks allthat very useful to know. Tbh, the saving up is a big part about the enthusiasm and energy than the swimmers themselves. DH is amazing and we have a healthy dtd normally ... But that marathon week; by day 5 we're done in! But if fresh swimmers and 5 days in a row is what's needed.

Thanks again for letting me know x

panicmechanic · 14/10/2013 19:10

Hi Jaykay, I think DPO 13, it's yellow and stretchy not hi vis but definitely brighter than normal. Can't believe I am writing this stuff!
