Come to the BESH funfair - we have a coconut shy, apple bobbing, dodgems and much much more. The prizes? Shiny new BFPs, of course. You can only go on the rides if you're a barren 30plus-er, the entrance fee is one completed BESHtionairre.

Well done! Its weird injecting yourself at first but you soon get used to it. Where do ivf stabbies go? My drucks go in the belly so at least i have lots of padding there.

Hope your call comes soon, cherry. My clinic is open over the hols but in a reduced capacity I think.

I was on Synarel for downregging and Gonal F for stims, winks. I have a review appt on 10 Jan so will ask then if the metal b*stard hasn't turned up.

In other news - we are going to see a pair of potential cats to adopt on Thursday - squee!

Ooh that is exciting about new kitties Fizz. We're staying at my folks just now where they have a houseful of animals and there have been lots of wistful discussions about what dog we would get. I feel I'm wearing ROCH down slowly! Hope DROID turns up soon for you.

Squeee. I hope there will be photos, fizz. Is it wrong that I get more excited about pets than babies sometimes?

My clinic did stay open over Xmas (not Xmas Day). I think they are open 364 days of the year. But I did notice it was a lot quieter in December. I think a lot of people don't want to have an abstemious Xmas. And having done it, I quite agree!

Yay pusses! I love ours, even though everything we own is permanently covered in cat hair... I am currently being deafened by stupidcat purring because she's pleased we finally came home from visiting friends :)

What are your potentials like, fizz? Fancy breeds or rescue moggies? Boys/girls? Interesting colours? I'm partial to a dark ginger

Aw, stupidcat sounds lovely! I thought cats generally got a bit snooty if you go away? The two we are interested in are mother and daughter - rescue cats, though not mistreated - their owner has to move house and they can't come with her. Part of the meet will be to see if GFBW is allergic to them so I'm trying not to get too excited. They are both mostly white, so any tips for getting cat hair off fur would be appreciated!

Awwww, kitties! We came very close to getting a Maine Coon kitten just before I got upduffed. We decided kitten + baby, particularly with HWHNN being away during the week, probably wasn't the best idea!

How goes stabbing Bugs, have you got a little routine going now? When's your next scan?

The best way of dealing with cat hair: accept that you're covered in cat hair. There's really not much you can do. Hurrah for moggies! Ours came from a rescue; apparently their elderly previous owner couldn't look after them any more. Oldcat brainwashed picked HOTB to take her home, so Stupidcat and I went along with it...

Oldcat gets snooty. Stupidcat doesn't seem to realise she's a cat, and has neither dignity nor the usual feline attitude of superiority Grin

Going to finish work in an hour then go to bed, because I am a true party animal. Just wanted to say that 2013 has been shit for most, if not all of us - its definitely had more troughs than peaks for me - so here's to a far less shitty 2014. Happy New Year Thanks Wine
