Come to the BESH funfair - we have a coconut shy, apple bobbing, dodgems and much much more. The prizes? Shiny new BFPs, of course. You can only go on the rides if you're a barren 30plus-er, the entrance fee is one completed BESHtionairre.

Oooh 'eck, bugs, that sounds tasty! I have been struggling to stay on the path of the virtuous too - just seems to be bread, cheese and cake everywhere I look!

eurochick · 27/12/2013 18:14

It's a traditional time of feasting - tis allowed, nay encouraged!

I've been eating posh choccies (thanks BESH) while reading about energy medicine and muscle testing for beneficial foods. Choccy ginger is OK it seems! I didn't test the quality street...

Bugs I have journaled for years. I find it very helpful to put my emotions and thoughts on paper. Sonetimes I realise I am being a drama queen but mostly iT lets me breathe through whatever is happening at the time.

I think it's a good idea. I kept a sort of bullet point journal of symptoms and emotions over the past year as I went through my 4 cycles. I found it helpful as I went through the later cycles to recall what I had experienced the earlier times.

cherry I'm glad the chocolate is going down well.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 28/12/2013 08:17

I agree with journalling as a useful outlet. I pretty much only do it when I am struggling to cope, which was in the aftermath of my mc last year and the IVF+BFN this year. It really helps me to get the thoughts and feelings out on paper rather than in my head. Also buying a nice note book is one of those small but significant pleasures! Also, clearly chocolate is an essential food group around Christmas, so you're doing well, bugs.

Yay for nice chocolates, cherry. I hope you're enjoying it!

Good luck today Bugs.

eurochick · 30/12/2013 09:56

How are you feeling today, bugs?

evilgiraffe · 30/12/2013 10:47

How'd stabbing go, bugs?

FizzyFeet · 30/12/2013 11:47

Have you stabbed yet, bugs? Or is it an evening delight?

I am confused today. My cycles vary quite a bit, but average 27 days. Today is cd30 and no sign of droid. Obviously I can't be diffed (or would be only the second person in medical history ever to get diffed without tubes). But I'm worried that my cycle might be on the wonk. Could it be just the drucks leaving my system?

euro how's the menkulling going? Hope you are doing ok.
