Bugs, this time off you're having is making you live life dangerously....babydust!!! Snort!!!

Ladies, I'm menkulling. My boobal soreness has pretty much disappeared overnight. And on Xmas Eve I had a visual migraine (zig zag lines, no headache). I've only ever had one before and it was around the time I miscarried. Hmmm. The wait for next week's scan is going to be a very long one.

Hang in there Euro. I'm going to guess your last visual migrane was caused by the pregnancy hormones and not the miscarriage. (Lots of people get them when pg). Boobs mean nothing, mine were sorest pre bfp and never been sore since.

Thanks. My boobs stayed sore last time until things were going wrong. This is such a tough time as there's nothing I can do to see how things are going in there.

The waiting is awful, I really feel for you. I know its hard to keep your mind off it but the only thing i can suggest is staying as busy as possible. It's fine that this time is different to last time as this time the outcome will be very different

Yes! And it would be useful while ttc too. You'd be able to see whether sperm and egg had met, so you'd know whether to bother menkulling or not.

I've just been to see my 90 year old Gran. That was pretty diverting! She's quite a character. And we should have friends coming round later, so I should be well occupied.

Oh euro, I feel for you, those first few weeks are so hard. The odds are hugely in your favour, and time hasn't really stopped no matter how much it feels like it . Have a good time with your friends later.

Hang in there, euro. No two pregnancies are the same. I had completely different symptoms with all of mine so it's nothing to go by. I've had migraines while diffed and while definitely not diffed. I definitely think there's a market for a uterine sunroof. Anyone want to join me in a Dragons' Den pitch?

We just had friends round with their 3 (IVF win) sprogs in tow. After they left, KFZK looked at me, raised an eyebrow and said "are you sure you want to do this?". They are hugely cute but very, very full on (a 4 yr old and twins of 2).

Ha! I tell myself that of course, our children will be angelic, quiet and well behaved with a love of colouring in and reading. Not the sticky, noisy, bitey toddlers other people have, oh no.

After Xmas with my brother's boisterous boys I am relieved to be home with SB and v grateful it's just the one in there... Three is many!

I have just popped on to say that we have more-or-less survived Christmas. My sister and I did really well and cooked dinner yesterday and it was delicious. There were a few tears about Mum but all-in-all we did OK. I am, however, completely fucking knackered.

Still not feeling very pregnant so still testing daily, just using up loads of cheapie OPKs. Does anyone know whether they will just keep showing 2 lines like a pregnancy test?

Dor yes your OPKs will show 2 lines when pg, I carried on doing them for a few weeks post bfp

We can menkul together. I haven't tested in a week. But only because I wasn't finding it reassuring as the lines weren't getting darker like they did last time (even though my HCG levels were higher this time ).
