So a few bfps on C4?? (i am cycle 4 this time round) maybe i will be lucky after all? Although would be very lucky indeed with only two deeds done at the relevant time.

On the plus side i think i got ewcm this month......very slippery when wiping?

My DH is clueless. He really needs to get a grip re more dtd though and not jyst for baby making reasons!! I think if we get to 6 months without a bfp i will have a 'chat' with him.....

Allchat no I don't temp, recording dates is about as much as I do! I don't know, I've never had ov pains so they could have been but it's a big stretch! I guess we'll find out in a couple of weeks but I'm not holding out any joy. My cycle isn't regular yet so I'm not even 100% sure when I'm meant to ov but I'm guessing thurs. we should have dtd in the week but dp's bloody working away for a month or two so weekends are our only chance

Can I just ask if anyone knows when you can start symptom spotting? Preparing for next month!!
I've read implantation happens 6-12 days after fertilisation but are any hormones produced before then? Would you get anything happening? Or not until it actually implants?

It's so frustrating isn't it? Why have we not evolved with a little finger that goes green when we ovulate then blue when we're pregnant?! That would save soooo much time and money poas!

Thisisme - I decided to temp just to put to bed my fear that I might not be releasing the egg despite getting positive opks previous months.
So hard when your dh is away. Shame we can't actually freeze them our selves and get the turkey baster out! I'm sure I saw someone do that once in a documentary...

I would stay away from any sort of symptom spotting if I were you. pre- AF and early pregnancy symptoms have many parallels and I think everyone would agree they read into things and then can't help getting excited even though they know they shouldn't and then the come down is even worse!
My body does different tricks for me each month the bugger.

Rather depressing stats are: ttc#1; cycle#11 (I think - trying since dec) and BFP 31st (again, not sure as been a bit variable).

DH did officially 'give' one for the team the other night, we've managed four nights in a row. I got a +opk yesterday and I think it got to him a bit! Last night wasn't a success. But, despite another + today, I've told him we'll just be doing it for fun tonight, no 'donation' needed' just so he doesn't feel pressurised. Poor DH, we seem to have swapped roles, I'm normally the anxious one!

Itssofluffy good idea, just let on its all in the name of fun ;) keep the heat off dh a bit. Glad he gave "one for the team" and impressed by your 4 nights in a row! Good job!!! :)

Just watching midwives on demand accompanied by 4 of ds's mini size Cadbury choc bars and a bag of fruit pastilles I've missed the last 2 and I have control of the remote tonight as dh has gone out with his brother for the evening. I watched midwives last night with DH, we just wince the whole way through it with hands over our eyes until the baby is out.....then we look and say "aaaaawwwww" DH is is so broody!!! At one point thought I had, for no explicable reason, done a little wee! Had to go and check. No wee. Just a lot of CM. That's also odd as usually there is pretty much none at this point of my cycle.

We're still sticking to smep (although actually dtd twice yst cos my inner control freak kept screaming at me that we may miss a chance as think I ov'd yst!) Hey Onelife we have dtd 3 days in a row but having a rest tonight as DH has to be up really early tomorrow :( will get on and dtd tomorrow night then probably a couple of times over the weekend. Im on CD15, how about you?

I haven't had any pains or cramps this month so don't know if I have Ov? Last 2 months had really bad cramps on CD17 and CD14. Oh well will find out in a couple of weeks lol

Im cd14 so not far behind you, we can go through the 2ww together then! Sounds like you've done well on the dtd front, yeah think we'll try and keep going if able...I can feel all this extra dtd in my abs let me tell you...no need for the gym here!!

I've never had ov cramps, even when i'm really trying to spot them, can't feel a thing, all guess work im afraid!

Mrsb interesting you said that, I haven't had any ov cramps this cycle either and was wondering why. I have felt a bit bloated today that is all and usually I do get sharp cramps, day 16 today. And according to opk I ovd yesterday or today. Possibly tomorrow morning.

Evening ladies, trying to play catch up, dtd last night, thank god as hubby is in bed with the lurgy!!! He'll have to get over it tomorrow!!! Not taking no for an answer!! Lol one life, I've never felt ov pains until actually ttc!! Have been bc free since daughter was born nearly 6 years ago, take bc for 4 months and end up with crazy symptoms!!! My last oeruid was a killer!! Just glad it's over, barely, then bc opk give me a flashing smiley face!! My hormones must be all over the place!!

Maybe i can have the chat with DH sooner than planned (about dtd more/better timed) He's come home full of talk about his cousins 3 yr old son and 7 mobth daughter......off to bed. Night all and good luck for morning testers.
