Hey Dev welcome to the lucky October bus!

Wow, I go away for 4 days and we have a new bus and a total of 9 BFP's!! Huge congratulations to the BFP ladies, fantastic news :) :) :)

I'm on 8dpo at the moment and this 2ww is going so slow, I love the 'crotch watch' terminology, can't remember who said it but it's so true

The only symptom I really have is horrible achey legs, I always get it on day of AF and sometimes day before but I've had it for four days now and it's irritating me, feels like my whole lower back, bum and womb area is heavy and achey.

I'd love it to be a symptom but it's probably just a mega bad AF brewing :(

Lucyfluff, glad to hear the bleeding has stopped and I will be thinking of you for friday.....really hope its still positive....will say a wee prayer for you...good luck!!! Well yes dtd every other day until pos opk..so today was the first of the "sex plan" had a nice early lunch "bonk" and back to work now lol it was a very successful day one!!! Now on to Thursday for day 2 :) then sat/sun/mon! Its all good! DH is very happy :) hope we get some good news this month!!!!!!

I'm hoping I've just wasted some money on buying some cheapie opk's and some more conceive plus for next month!

Wow lots of BFPs, well done ladies!! CD8 now, about to commence 'shag week' going to try every other day until I ov, have started temping this month, it is quite fun really although I have to do it while DP is in the shower or he will think I am mental. He vomits at the mere mention of ovulation so to try and talk about temps, mucus etc might mean he would never come near me again!!

Fluffy...my DH likes to chat about ovulation....but only in relation to when its happening and when he is expected to deliver the goods lol everything else just goes right over his head....each month he only wants to know 2 things: when I ovulate and when I can do a preg test....if only my brain worked so simply!!! Lol

Haha bless them Mama, I don't even think my DP has noticed I suddenly find him irresistible for one week every month!! It's quite worrying actually.....

If they could obsess maybe they would!! Maybe my DP is obsessively testing his sperm while I am in the shower??? I doubt it though.

Well my DH is a doctor so he knows a fair bit about how it all works (he's even delivered babies!) so no hiding it from him. He has said though he's fine not knowing about my CM lol.

Mama - Lucky you DTD every day. DH has a very physical job and is often knackered and unfortunately due to the best form of exercise! I read that for best results leaving 3 days in between for optimum levels if you don't know what actual swim count is. Do you temp? Might help figure out most likely days?

Inspired (?!) by choccys website link I decided to Google images pregnancy symptom style creamy cm. (obviously my not obsessing in 2ww is going well!) It's definitely what I've got. The pictures have grossed me out though!
Now I need to start researching the causes of this cm that aren't pregnancy related. To try and even my brain out!

Dev we are doing every other day until ovulation then will do 3 days in a row, skip a day then once more for luck! I don't temp just use opks but seem to be ov on cd13 last 2 cycles.

Jaykay.....I googled cm last cycle as mine was unusual for me coming up to af....and I convinced myself I was preggers....I wasn't :/ I honestly think our bodies do different things each month...I must not allow myself to symptom spot this month....but I know I will :/ I'm out of control soon as I hit 2ww!!!!

Hi Folks, keeping my fingers crossed that we get a BFP in November. (Got a BFP in September as some of you will know, turned out to possibly be twins but, alas, it was not to be.) Thinking positive and looking forward to reading all the BFP news on here.

I've seamed to have timed thing well this month. 5 cop, what do you reckon is the earliest you would get any symptoms - post implantation?

Just checking in before the start of sixth form open evening to say - no further news at the moment so looks like I will be testing tomorrow morning at this rate.

Hmm, think I've missed the bus this month. Obviously time will tell but I'm impatient and have been googling like mad (I know I know)
Had really bad pains thurs like a cross between period pains and a stomach upset. Lasted a couple of hours. Having looked back I think I probably ovulated then and we didn't dtd till late friday night so more than 24hrs.
I know the window shuts quickly after you ovulate and I really think we missed it this month.
Ah well!

Does anyone else stop temping after O? I'm 5 dpo and when I took my temp this morning it was the highest it has ever been, so I'd quite like to stop to resist any temptation of googling temperatures....what do you guys think. I only started to do it because I wanted reassure I was actually O'g as I've been using opk the last few months.

I would love to actually have no symptoms this month! Then I might actually think I am preggers, because the achy legs, the middle of the night cramping and all the other things last month got my hopes up to much. It's hard not to start hating your body - it is so cruel to us at times!

I know this is grasping at straws a little, but those pains could have been the onset of ovulation and then you actually O'd on fri and therefore did on fri evening could be in with a chance considering the egg survives around 12 hours?.....
I think you are right to be cautious in your thinking, but stranger things have happened.
On another thread the other day a woman said that she fell pregnant the one month they didn't try. They had sex twice that month. Once at the beginning and once at the end!!
