Evening all!
bikes I'm back at the clinic on Thursday (day 8 of stimming) for scan & bloods. Can't remember, is this your first cycle? It's great that we can cheer each other on!
choco Wow - what fabulous news! You will be PUPO before you know it! How are feeling about it all? xx
blind Hello! Not been told my AMH level, just that I am 'within the normal range for my age' (39 at the time) - but some lovely lady far wiser that me may come along soon (tame where are you lovely?). I have left my clinic to reflect my AMH level with their choice of protocol & stimming dosage. I know not everyone feels the same (about not knowing) but ultimately the test results on their own don't tell the whole story on your chance of success, so I haven't worried about it. If the clinic says it's ok, then it's ok. . Good luck for your friend.
fabbie gotta love a bit of glamping! Hope you're having loads of fun! Look forward to hearing all about it Wink
llw Oh the god damn waiting... I'm sure everything will be absolutely fine lovely

BrookerC · 20/10/2013 22:44

val just read back and seen you're on SP. Please ignore the DR question Confused

foxybingodotcom · 20/10/2013 22:48

Yeah you sure can though I'm really rubbish at remembering now, though at the time I thought there was no way I'd forget!

Conceieved naturally in 2007 which resulted in an ectopic and lost my right tube.

Discovered after investigations in 2009 that DH has a really low sperm count (2K maybe) and poor motility so it was amazing we ever conceived in the first place. Recommended for ICSI which we did privately in 2010.

Had the first cycle where we got 3 good quality, 8 cell, day 3 embies - did a single ET with the fresh cycle which failed and 2 further singe FET's which failed.

Did a second cycle of ICSI which again got us 3 good quality embryos. Did a double embryo transfer with prednisolone and clexane and had success with my beautiful DS and had the one remaining embryo frozen which I'm hoping transfer this month, major fingers crossed!

Hope this is what you were looking for! Other factors which may be of interest? Weighed 16st 2lbs first and second time around now about 11 and a half - don't know if thats likely to make any difference but hopefully might help?! Clutching at straws a little here!

Sorry thats turned into an essay! Me - 30, DH - 39

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

OK, stopped progesterone, bleed arrived this afternoon. Clinic says I can treat this as AF, and start meds to build lining up again. But I don't have the right meds! I am now waiting a call back from my lovely GP, hoping he can write me a prescription to pick up tomorrow. Brewery pissup couldn't arrange a...

On the plus side I could be transferring as soon as a week on Friday if my lining plays ball.

talulahbelle · 21/10/2013 18:19

And still no call back

nobeer · 21/10/2013 19:21

alright bugger! nice to see you. I'm doing FET and she said I can do it drug free! I am still hoping in a deluded kind of way that AF won't arrive on Thursday (I'm regular as clockwork) and by some kind of miracle I'll be pregnant. We're moving two weeks today so I'm going to hopefully sneek in a transfer mid December. Need to ring clinic when AF starts in Nov.

vallinnapod · 21/10/2013 20:35

Hi bugger - you should be fine before Christmas, just. Probably DR for 3 weeks then stim for 2. I did the LP for DS just before Christmas. I think I started DRing on 31 Oct and ET was 16 Dec.

Happened with me and an FET this time last year. Must have checked with them on every single visit we would have enough time before the lab closed for Christmas. On the day of my baseline scan I was told there wouldn't be enough time. Grrrrrr!

BrookerC · 21/10/2013 21:53

Evening all!
Thanks for the ttc history foxy. It's been a blummin' long journey but how lovely to have your DS as a result. Do you have a provisional date for your FET?
I'm already stabbing bugs. I started LP on 1st Oct & expect ET around 2nd week of Nov, so 6 weeks' in total. I did SP for my last 2 cycles & that lasted just over 3 weeks' to ET. On LP you usually start on either day 2 or day 21. Hope that helps. Can't believe your clinic shut for 3 weeks'!
talulah how annoying! Hope you hear back tomorrow & can get started again. A week on Friday - blimey! Great news Grin How are you feeling about it?

BlindKitty · 22/10/2013 07:33

Any more advice re my amh question guys? Would be very appreciated Smile

vallinnapod · 22/10/2013 11:47

Blind not sure what you are after. Just seen yours is 11.something (sorry can't scroll back as on phone). Mine is 15.3 and not an eyelid was battered. I was only concerned as mine has gone from 54.something in 2010 to 30something.something last year to 15.3 now. And I have PCOS Confused

nobeer · 22/10/2013 12:15

TMI alert: has anyone's wee changed colour after taking Pregnacare conception tablets? mine's a kind of glow in the dark colour!

Thanks bugger! Glad it's not radioactive piss Grin

IWantOneNow · 22/10/2013 15:03

Hey nobeer that has happened to me too since starting Pregnacare - defo 'glow in the dark' wee! Grin
Blind - right now if someone told me i had AMH level of 11 i would be doing cartwheels. Yes, it should theoretically be higher, but mine is 3.1 and on the brink of VERY LOW! (Very low - as in wtf - very low). So, there are a few things on the net that i've found useful for it. D vitamins are good for this apparently. But don't let your friend worry about it too much, it's definitely not the end of the road with IVF for a amh level of 11.
Hey Brooker - i'm just about feeling back to normal now with the Menopur. I've been drinking loads of water (and pee'ing a lot too! Blush). I'm getting a little fed up with the injections now, not long to go. I have my scan and bloods on Friday (day 9), so fingers crossed for a positive progress report for all of us (you too Bikes).
Waves to everyone Smile

nobeer · 22/10/2013 15:21

Want it's bizarre, isn't it!

I'm getting back to my boxes. Why have I got so much stuff?!

Mittensonkittens · 22/10/2013 16:10

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is doing ok - llw hoping your scan goes well, can imagine the wait has felt extremely long!
Glad you're feeling better iwant find it encouraging as I am going to be on menopur too!
nobeer in the unlikely event we ever move again I'm including all stuff in the loft and the garage in the sale.

Waves to everyone else.

I'm due next Wednesday so expect to start the short profile just after. I hope the short profile will be ok, I've been reading some stuff that says the long profile has better success. I just don't know if I could cope with it though because of it caused migraines I would have to stop. Apparently the short profile is safer with regard to diabetes too but I don't want to put myself through it if I might be better just sucking it up and going long profile. Clinic said I would be ok for short but I have zero faith in them tbh.

I was desperately hoping that somehow I might ironically fall pregnant this month but no, blood sugar has gone tits up as happens every month after ovulation so expect this is highly unlikely to the point of impossible.

Why is it most people find getting pregnant as easy as falling off a log?

BlindKitty · 22/10/2013 19:08

iwant that's really helpful. I will report my findings back to my friend!!!

Good luck to all you guys! I almost gave up hope but eventually got my bfp, even if it was assisted! Smile

chocolocodowninacapulco · 22/10/2013 20:30

Hello all,

Just a quickie from me, sorry. Had an email today from the clinic to say that the donor we were matched with has pulled out for personal reasons. She is still willing to go ahead with treatment, but they can't be sure when - could be a couple of months, or more. They've suggested a new, much younger donor but no proven fertility and 5 inches shorter than me. Wish I knew what to do now, gutted. I just want the pain of this whole fucking process to go away. Aaarrrgh!

IWantOneNow · 22/10/2013 21:16

Oh choco I'm sooo sorry to hear ur news that is a real bummer. I really don't know what to suggest, but sending hugs and thinking of u x

Thanks iwant and bugger. Sorry for selfish post, will catch up properly tomorrow - hope everyone's ok.

bugs DH is 6ft, but I think the height inheritance thing is more complicated than that. I can't believe that 10 days ago I was worrying about eye colour! Confused

nobeer · 22/10/2013 21:50

Sorry to hear that choco. I don't know what's more complicated, eye colour or height. I'm a short arse with short arsed genes, so don't ask me! I'm sure you and DH will make the right decision for you guys, but so frustrating for you when you just thought things were on track.
