Your last thread got somewhat derailed so I thought I would treat you to a lovely shiny new place full of real open fires, fluffy blankets and an aga for baking bread and warming soups and stews. Back on with the job in hand ladies, lets have a round up of who's doing what and when.

OP posts:
NoMaybeAboutIt · 21/11/2013 15:32

Oh Geek that's amazing news! Why a relief. The jams sound sore though. But thank goodness it's only one a month. Hope that invoice never comes through Wink

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 21/11/2013 16:41

Also Brooking that the invoice stays lost! What does 'good ovary perched on top of my womble' mean, please? Womble = womb? Why might that be a problem? Go, Geek, go! Brooking really hard for you. So if stimming is mid Jan, when is EC and ET?

Smack that rat, Cake! This month will be your month!

Scarlett, did the Wine help?

ScarlettInSpace · 21/11/2013 19:21

Hey everyone thanks for all your comments it really does help to have an invisible task force at your side!

Nandos was lovely as usual - I also get a small superior buzz as I walk in, past the q of people waiting for tables, pay then walk out with my big bag of chicken to take home and eat wearing fat pants without caring if I have piri piri sauce down my chin Grin and always 1 person says to their partner 'ooooh look nandos do take out, must remember that!' Grin

Saved the wine for tonight, drinking in the bath while OH hosts pizza night downstairs various 30+ males pretending they are teenagers again with pizza beer and video games lol

geek matey I'd deffo take 1 big jab a month over daly ones! Glad to hear all your bits are behaving lol, brooking no argument this is your turn and you will start the year with a fabulous brooking BFP x

maybe you are such a good brooker. You are always here with the right words and you always remember people's appts! Have a non alko Wine and enjoy the last few weeks of peace and quiet, how long have you got now? X

Cheers Wine to everyone else, and did I see far poke her head round the door? Hope you're well missus

Right I'd better go before I drop my iPod in the bath Blush

Yay nearly Friday folks! not that I'm doing any work these days any day of the week hahaha

Fox82 · 21/11/2013 20:29

Thanks for the explanation geek. So glad it went so well for you today. MrG sounds wonderful, I'm brooking so hard for you both and can't wait for your bfp news very soon! I hope the boiler was sorted in the end and you're currently sat all snugly and warm! That's great about the invoice too! Let's hope it's all forgotten about Smile

Glad the nandos hit the spot scarlett! And wine in the bath sounds lovely and relaxing!

maybe - scarlett is right you are such a good brooker and always know what stage everyone is at and you are always there to say the right thing. Note to self, be a better brooker. Don't forget to keep us up to date on your news too though! Smile

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 21/11/2013 20:34

Just checking in from my sick bed to say yay to Geek! Is it prostap injections? I'm glad to hear it all went well. Brooking for no nasty DR side effects. I'll be back hopefully tomorrow if this stomach bug has settled by then Hmm

NoMaybeAboutIt · 21/11/2013 20:42

Oh Cups, not good at all. Ill leave you some Cake for when you're better.

So pleased to hear you're feeling a bit better Scarlett. Wine+bath=perfection. How many days left now?!

How you feeling lovely Fox? Is it this weekend you're telling your parents?! They're going to be over the moon!!

You are all very sweet. I'm not a good brooker, I just can't leave you all . I'm almost 23 weeks now, and hoping to cut back on the anti sickness meds soon!

Fox82 · 21/11/2013 21:13

Oh no cups!! Shock Feel better soon Thanks

23 weeks maybe! Wow! So exciting! That seems to have gone really quickly. Although maybe not for you as you've been feeling poorly. I can imagine that would really drag you down. Hope you're able to give up the meds and feel wonderful very soon!

Yes planning to tell my parents this weekend. Think we're waiting to tell MrF's parents until we see them in person. I said we should wait to tell mine too in that case, but MrF says he's really excited about telling my parents and doesn't want to wait Smile

musicalmrs · 21/11/2013 21:49

Wow, can't believe you're 23 weeks already Maybe - it has flown by for us, though I imagine it's been quite slow for you? Everyone is right - you're an amazing brooker. And I say that as a long term brooker who has been here since very near the beginning of the brookers, as you have! Although I rejoice at every single brooker BFP, yours was one that made me cheer and weep the most :)

Both the Nandos and the wine sound fabulous Scarlett. Really fancy Nandos now. I'm very tempted to have their takeout. I wish they delivered - DH is away next week and I'd be very tempted.. Grin

Fox how exciting about telling them :)

Geek So glad everything went well! Hurrah for a fabulous scan! I have an image of an ovary dancing all over a womble now though (of the womb variety, not the Wimbledon variety.. that would make for an even odder image!). Hope you don't experience too many side effects. Eek to the big jab mind..! Also brooking for the lost invoice to stay very lost!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 21/11/2013 21:59

Musical you've conjured up all sorts of images of Geek's Wimbledon now!! Cue the weird dreams... How are those aches?

Fox how exciting!!! I bet you can't wait. Then it will seem really real! Have you made your first booking in appointment?! Exciting times!!

The first 12 weeks dragged, but time is flying now. Thank you all so much for your lovely words. You lot have been the best support a girl could ask for Smile

musicalmrs · 21/11/2013 22:06

And now I have Geek's Wimbledon in my head too Grin Though wondering if my mental depiction of an ovary is correct..

Still feeling odd Maybe. Bloated, aching stomach, occasionally tops of legs. Feels quite AF-y but still no sign. Also felt sick earlier. Before anyone says, I'm pretty sure it's way too early to actually be pregnant. Suspecting ovulation, but seems to have gone on way too long? That, or a long build up to the first AF after a very long time..

ControlGeek · 21/11/2013 22:32

OMG no wonder I haven't got pg yet, my ovaries are playing tennis with my eggs!

(proper post in the morning, am supposedly in the kitchen getting more pimms)

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 22/11/2013 15:34

Scarlett I'm wel jel of your takeaway Nandos. I'm one of the people stare at geniuses collecting their takeaways!

I don't blame you for feeling that way about IVF. I'm sure I'll change my mind if it ever works for me but at the moment all I've got to show for it is an extra half a stone and the worst periods I've ever had Confused

Music how are you? Any sign of ovulation/AF?

Fox bless your DH! I bet you are both so excited Smile

Geek how are you doing? Did you find out about the drugs? Brooking that they are free. That would be a nice surprise.

Maybe I completely agree that you are a lovely brooker. I'm brooking that Fin is going to be the best behaved baby ever as we can't do without you on here Smile

Well I got AF this morning, I have spoken to the clinic. I've got a teach appointment on the 6th dec. Then I should hopefully be able to start treatment on next AF which is now due on the 22nd/23rd.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 22/11/2013 16:12

Oh Cups, that's amazing news!! I'm so pleased you can start!! How are you feeling about it? Thank you for your lovely words x

EverythingIs50YearsWho · 22/11/2013 18:04

Cups that's brilliant news, I'm so pleased for you!

Maybe tis all true you know!

I'm all ready for the Dr Who weekend Grin Tardis

musicalmrs · 22/11/2013 19:42

Cups that's excellent news! How are you feeling?

Still no clue what's going on here. Still feeling odd. It feels more like AF - but can't remember getting ovulation pain in the past! Odd sensations started on Tuesday, so wondering if I may have OVed then..

Anything lovely planned for the weekend brookers? Mine is full of work and visiting family.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 22/11/2013 19:57

Thanks, I'm feeling a bit excited now. I'm trying not to get my hopes up as I wouldn't be too surprised if something else delays it. Also I really need AF to come on time next month as I need to go in for a scan on day 2 which is most likely going to be Christmas Eve.

Talking about bad timing I finally got a letter from the pct to say they are reviewing my funding to see if I can transfer my funding to a private clinic. My GP said if I'm ready to go on my next cycle with nhs clinic when it comes through I just say I've changed my mind about moving clinics.

Boo I'm almost scared to tell you that I'm not a Doctor Who fan.....

Musical brooking it was ovulation, I hope you've been smacking that rat!

musicalmrs · 22/11/2013 20:12

Brooking for no delays and an on time AF next month Cups!

Personally I quite like Doctor Who but got a bit bored of the last series.

We have indeed been rat smacking! If it was OV, my 2ww would end in the first week of Dec. As we have no idea, I shall continue the relentless SWI-ing.. DH doesn't know what's hit him Grin

ScarlettInSpace · 22/11/2013 23:07

Oooooh good news cups looks like January will be a busy month for brookers!

I've had a bit of a breakthrough brookers, that I thought id share with you - I think I've got to the bottom of my long cycles. I've been taking dhea since end of last IVF - tonight OH asked if that could be causing the long cycle and it looks like dr google agrees, time wise it makes sense too. So I'm not going to take them any more. Maybe in the run up to another treatment cycle but not as a daily supp like now.

Fingers crossed that's solved that problem and I can get back to normal [when af eventually arrives, cd36 so far this time]

Night all!

EverythingIs50YearsWho · 22/11/2013 23:23

That sounds promising Scarlett hope it helps settle things down for you.

Cups I will forgive you cos you're really nice, some of the girls on grads have taken to calling me Dr Boo just sayin Grin Tardis

ControlGeek · 23/11/2013 10:20

Sorry ladies, yesterday was a bit hectic, being my first (and only) day back at work this week!

too I've got a bad ovary (riddled with endometriosis so my eggs are not useable) and a good ovary which has normal quality eggs. Due to a fibroid, the good ovary doesn't sit where the textbook says it should, instead it has risen above my womble (womb - can't remember who coined the phrase, maybe gen or tock). If it stayed in this position constantly, they would not be able to reach my ovary in order to harvest the eggs at the end of the stimming period. Luckily, ovaries have a tendency to move around a fair bit over the course of the month so once it's heavy with eggs it tends to drop a little, and they were able to manipulate me under a general last time so that they could reach it. Hope you and MrT have been getting busy [grnin]

Same goes for you too cake, brooking for some perfectly timed SWI for you.

scarlett I also didn't know Nandos do takeout, but then I'm not a fan of Nandos so would probably have watched you go in whilst I was walking past to the pizza place next door! Yes, so happy just to have one jab a month. I wasn't looking forward to it when I thought it was 1 a day. Yay to MrS the SuperSleuth! Brooking like mad that it's your DHEA and that you get back to normal sharpish once they're out of your system.

cups Hope you're starting to feel better now, i's a rotten time of year for bugs. Yes, it's prostap. OMG congratulations on your appt!!! We are cycle buddies GrinGrinGrin Ok, well you will start your cycle after me and get your BFP before mine, but you know what I mean! It's so unfair that it's taken so long for them to start looking at reviewing your funding though. How are you feeling? Would you rather go ahead sooner than later, or would waiting a little longer and having a different clinic balance out for you? Sorry for the disjointed responses, I'm typing in one window as I read the posts in the other.

maybe that's great news about soon being able to cut back on the meds, it's so unfair that you've had to go through this after all you've already been through. And yes, you are a truly amazing Brooker. Said it before, and I'll say it again :)

fox good luck with telling your parents this weekend, I am sure they will be overjoyed.

musical what news, lovely? How are you feeling? Sounds like you might be in your 2ww! Hope you've been putting MrM to good work Wink

ControlGeek · 23/11/2013 17:30

[tchgrin]

ControlGeek · 23/11/2013 17:30

arse, didn't work :(

ControlGeek · 23/11/2013 17:32

For almost a whole hour, we had secret christmas smilies Grin oh well, only 7 more days to go!

EverythingIs50YearsWho · 23/11/2013 17:35

Bahahahaha I've just seen it on a thread too Geek got all excited for a bit :)

musicalmrs · 23/11/2013 20:51

Scarlett, that sounds good. Brooking that things settle down for your cycles now.

Geek, so sorry your body isn't playing ball at the moment. I'm afraid I know very little about cycles and how they work, although it does sound like your LP could be getting longer? Can you get a LH surge at another point of the cycle?

I'll join you in the clueless body zone though Grin. I could be in the 2ww! Or the occasional cramps I've been feeling every day since Tuesday could be.. um.. not sure? Part of me wishes I had some OV tests or something to see what was going on, but I know I'd get incredibly addicted.

Having said that, DH did buy me a couple more tests today!
