Your last thread got somewhat derailed so I thought I would treat you to a lovely shiny new place full of real open fires, fluffy blankets and an aga for baking bread and warming soups and stews. Back on with the job in hand ladies, lets have a round up of who's doing what and when.

I'm back, but just feeling exhausted so I'm not going to manage to post much. I'm in London visiting family just now, just home from Central London and a 2 hour traffic jam with a shouting baby. Just wanted to let you all know I'm thinking of you.

So sorry to hear of those feeling down just now, you're all doing amazingly well in such difficult circumstances. It's hard to keep positive, but that's what we're here for, to tell you good things can happen, and that they will happen for you. {hugs}

Stacks · 31/10/2013 19:59

Overuse of the word just... Just need some more sleep ;)

Oh, and happy Halloween to all (if you celebrate it, unlike us who turn off the lights and avoid the trick or treaters) Halloween Hmm

ControlCreeeaaak · 01/11/2013 18:38

I just wanted to pop on and say I had the most amazing time with Sparks today, and twinks is truly gorgeous (the temptation to snaffle him out of the baby carrier as you were leaving was enormous Grin)

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo · 01/11/2013 19:49

Sorry glad you had a good time, can't wait for our turn Wink she's lovely is our Sparks!

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo · 01/11/2013 19:50

Sorry, not sorry, so I meant so glad you had a good time Blush

Fox82 · 01/11/2013 20:17

Hope everyone's had a good day! So glad it's Friday (even though I'm working Sunday)

Well MrF called the gp today and his results were in - the receptionist said the results are normal! But to get exact details he needs to call next week and have a telephone appointment with the gp. Great news we're both ok, but feeling a bit Hmm that we haven't had our bfp yet.

Fox82 · 01/11/2013 20:34

Sorry, just realised that probably sounds insensitive to those who do have problems. Of course I'm grateful that we've both been given the all clear Flowers

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/11/2013 20:51

I'm so pleased you had a nice time Geek!

Fox I am over the moon that the results are good!! You're not being insensitive at all!! It's brilliant news Grin

keepitgoing · 01/11/2013 22:11

Great news fox, its just a matter of time x

BeedlesPineNeedles · 02/11/2013 10:00

fox don't feel bad about having nothing wrong, hopefully it will only be a matter of time for you. But at the same time I don't think there was anything really wrong with keep so don't feel that you don't need treatment. There's nothing wrong with using science to speed things up :o

geek hope it all goes well today, good thing you didn't steal twinks, it would have been rather hard to explain to MrG's son :o

I'm having a dilemma about testing, obviously I want to know if I am pregnant but at the same time I don't want to know if I'm not. So I'm too scared to test tomorrow with a FRER (13dpec) but if I don't I'll probably have to wait until Thursday evening - which is ages away. I'm considering telling my boss what is going on (a bit late I know) so that I can get out of the conference that I should be going to on Wed/Thu. I can't really call in sick (even though I'm still actually feeling rather coldy and rubbish) because I called in sick for EC. What I need is for someone to secretly do a test for me and then just tell me if its good news (it needs to be done secretly otherwise I'll know its bad news if they don't say anything.

Have a good weekend everyone

ControlCreeeaaak · 02/11/2013 10:16

Fox it's brilliant news that all your tests have come back, but rubbish that you still don't have any answers. On the plus side, every month could be your month and I'm brooking no argument that your time is very soon.

Beedle you have put it so perfectly, that is exactly how I felt. If you were to tell someone at work, and not go to the conference, would that mean you and mrb would be together to test? I have got everything crossed for you lovely xxx

Booooo looking forward to next week :D

Fox82 · 02/11/2013 10:37

Thanks all. I think that's it Beedle - I'm just fed up of waiting. To use science to speed things up I guess I'd have to go private? But I think that's what I'd like to do.

Beedle hope you manage to sort something with work so you and MrB can test together before Thursday evening. Keeping everything crossed for you!

Have a great time today Geek!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 02/11/2013 11:09

Oh Beedle that's exactly how I felt too. The waiting was sheer agony, i just wanted to know. I say do the test tomorrow. I would love to do the test for you Smile

Geek hope you have an amazing time with boo.

Fox you won't have to go private. How long have you been TTC? I know it massively depends on your PCT and their policies, but most GPS are willing to refer on after 12 months. Just book another appointment with your GP to discuss the next steps. They will most likely send you for scans and an HSG, then take it from there. If they find nothing from that, then it may well be another couple of years before IVF, but you may not need the IVF. I would t start thinking about going private until you really need to x

Ooh stacks, I like your thinking Grin

musicalmrs · 02/11/2013 19:34

Hi all! Am visiting family this weekend so only lurking.... but I'm with the crowd Beedle- you should test tomorrow. We'll all be here for hand holding...

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 02/11/2013 20:07

Just a quick one from me as I'm in the Lake District with rubbish internet. Just wanted to do some virtual hand holding for Beedle. Tbh I would be tempted to test tomorrow and I think it's a good idea to speak to your boss. I totally get the wishing someone could test for you in secret!
I'm brooking like mad for a BFP xxxx

BeedlesPineNeedles · 03/11/2013 07:38

So I chickened out of doing a proper test this morning and just used an IC, which was unsurprisingly negative (even under bright light). I'm telling myself its only 13dpec so there is still time but at least this gives me an idea that it might not have worked Sad I haven't told mrb as he's still sleeping, I'll let him have some hope for a bit longer. I will probably now wait until Thursday to test again.

GenericDietCola · 03/11/2013 08:31

Oh Beedle, there really is still time. ICs were always v faint for me. I'm switching my brooking to 11 Smile

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 03/11/2013 08:31

Oh no Beedle. I am still very hopeful for you as those internet cheapies are notoriously rubbish. How are you feeling? Have you had any symptoms? I hope you cold has gone x

GreenOlives · 03/11/2013 08:44

Beedle Don't give up hope yet, I hate IC's! Brooking like mad for Thursday! x

Stacks · 03/11/2013 08:45

The IC tests are awful, and go from nothing to something very quickly too - though at the same time I was getting ridiculously faint lines for well over a week of testing everyday. Don't count yourself out just yet beedle. I don't want to overstep any boundaries, so ignore me if you want to, but I'd probably suggest telling MrB when he wakes up. You should do this together, keeping the hope alive or not. You can explain everything you know about IC and it being too early. Sorry again if this is unwelcome advice. I just know I'd want to be able to talk to my DH. Will you still chat to someone at work? See if you can get out of this conference?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/11/2013 08:57

Oh Beedle lovely. But I agree with everyone else. ICa are terrible. Even with 2-3 weeks on a digi, the clinics cheapie was so faint! I also would talk to MrB. Really hope you can get out of the conference x

ControlCreeeaaak · 03/11/2013 12:54

Beedle lovely I totally get the feeling of needing to protect yourself and prepare for a bfn but it's still really early for an ic to show anything. I was getting nothing on them even when I was getting photographable lines on frer so please don't give up just yet. Perhaps waiting until after the conference might be for the best now? Huge hug and lots of love xxx
