Your last thread got somewhat derailed so I thought I would treat you to a lovely shiny new place full of real open fires, fluffy blankets and an aga for baking bread and warming soups and stews. Back on with the job in hand ladies, lets have a round up of who's doing what and when.

Am here too, brooking and cursing ICs.
Xxxxxxx

ScarlettInSpace · 03/11/2013 17:18

Internet cheapies = Internet crappies fact.

Brooking you find a working pee stick later in the week beedle

BeedlesPineNeedles · 03/11/2013 17:23

Thanks all. I'm feeling fine about the crap non-result. If I had actually wanted to have a true result I would have used the frer, though if the ic had been positive I would, of course, have believed it :o

As for symptoms, well my boobs stopped being sore a few days ago, probably coinciding with the trigger shot leaving my body, and any other symptoms are probably being masked by the cough/cold that I seem to have picked up. Anyway no bleeding yet so the extra progesterone is doing the job.

Fox82 · 03/11/2013 18:05

Brooking for Thursday Beedle! There's still plenty of time for those pesky stocks to change their minds Smile

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/11/2013 19:25

Beedle my boons didn't hurt till after the positive test. And I had no sickness till about 7 weeks and still do I'm keeping everything be crossed for you lovely x

Hope you've had a nice break Cups and that things weren't too painful with your friend.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/11/2013 19:26

My boobs didn't hurt either Wink

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 04/11/2013 15:59

Beedle, Brooking hard for Thursday. Is that OTD?

musicalmrs · 04/11/2013 17:04

Also brooking hard for you Beedle.

Ooh, fajitas.. must add them to the shopping list!

Too, why are you low carbing?

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 04/11/2013 21:57

Musical, because I have done nothing but pig out for the last 6 weeks, in a v extended 30th birthday celebration and I have decided to occupy the 2ww with a bit of dieting to give me something else to obsess over . I did mean to restart the Shred as well, but it's nearly 10pm and I haven't done it yet. I bought a new skirt at the beginning of October as a birthday present and it's too tight now. Blush And I want to wear it before I get updiffed and rapidly expand out of high-waisted pencil skirts.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 05/11/2013 07:06

Hand-holding needed. I've had a tiny amount of bleeding, its hard to say how much as it is getting clogged up the the crinone residue I know it could be perfectly normal which is why I haven't yet collapsed into a sobbing mess.

Me and MrB have decided I won't go to the conference, either through telling my boss what's going on (if he's available today) or by telling him I'm sick - which is actually true I've got a nasty cough and I look quite rough, so I don't think that anyone would think I'm just skivving. I will almost certainly test tomorrow morning now.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 05/11/2013 07:53

Beedle try not to worry, I'm sure the bleeding is nothing. How do you insert the crinone? If you use an applicator then it's most likely from that. You are bound to cause some minor trauma from repeated pessary use. It's definitely not over yet. I think you are doing the right thing by not going to the conference. You really need to look after yourself (((hugs)))

BeedlesPineNeedles · 05/11/2013 08:10

Thanks cups yes the crinone is a gel inside a plastic applicator. I hadn't thought that it could be from that.
Anyway operation-get-out-of-going-to-the-conference has been carried out - I went to speak to my boss about something work related and coughed and sounded feeble, and then told him I didn't think I would be well enough to go away. He agreed.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 05/11/2013 08:48

I'm so glad to hear you've sorted it out with your boss, you don't need to put yourself under any extra pressure. Are you still going to work or are you off sick? I'm keeping everything crossed for a BFP tomorrow.

I had a good time away with my friends thanks Maybe. My pregnant friend was very sensitive and barely mentioned it. I did however accidentally over hear a conversation between my two other friends about them starting to try for babies. One of them actually said "I really don't want a baby yet but I can't leave it much longer, look what's happened to Cups and MrCups" which pissed me off a bit. It wouldn't have been so bad if I'd been involved in the conversation but it hurt to hear them talking about our problems behind our backs.

Too belated 30th congratulations! I hear you on the over indulging front. I've not yet lost the 8lbs that I seem to have gained since having IVF. I've got no motivation at the moment though.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 05/11/2013 09:00

Happy birthday Too! Over indulging is a must!!

Beedle I bled every day that I was on the crinone. I found some the applicators very sharp as well once you've twisted the top off. I'm so pleased you got out of the conference. I'm brooking so hard for tomorrow.

Cups I'm pleased you had a nice weekend, but I'm sorry you had to over hear that conversation. Please don't think any of this is 'because you left it too long'. J think people tend to make an automatic assumption that IVF is only used because you're older. So many people's reaction to our IVF was 'but you're so young'. I think it's yet another stigma attached to the whole thing. I wish it was more spoken about.

Geek how was your weekend with MrGs son?! I saw the picture on FB. They are the spitting image of each other!!

keepitgoing · 05/11/2013 09:39

beedle in my esteemed opinion the bleeding will be from trauma or implantation not af. I am brooking like anything for tomorrow and so pleased you're not going to the stupid conference. Sorry I'm not in Thailand so won't be up at silly o'clock, but there are the brookers with babies who are good on the night shift. Wish I could come over and give you a hug.

cups I'm sorry you overheard that. You're really young too. I'm sure they didn't mean you left it late. I agree with maybe. We are being really open about our ivf, especially dh who drops it into conversation all the time. People often say that must have been tough. Well, for me the tough bit was not getting pregnant beforehand, because we were so lucky it worked first time the ivf itself wasn't
too bad. But I know it would have been awful if it hadn't. I'm happy now to talk about both bits.

too I have a lovely high waisted maternity pencil skirt Grin so you could just wait to wear one like that in a few months ;)

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 05/11/2013 09:49

Me, I'm here to take on the night shift seeing as K has decided after 6 months of sleeping beautifully and me being smug about it she needs feeding 2 or 3 times during the night now. What time do you want me Beedle

Cups how awful you had to overhear the conversation, but lovely friend being sensitive about it was good. {{{{{Hugs}}}}}

Hiya everyone else, been busy in boo towers, K has a tooth, sits up and eats people food now just won't sleep anymore :)

OP posts:
musicalmrs · 05/11/2013 13:21

Beedle, I agree with Keep's opinions on trauma or implantation. There are so many reasons for bleeding.. brooking that it's nothing at all to be worried about. I can also be here at silly o'clock with Boo, as we're having fun with Iz's molars..! So glad you're not going to the conference.

Boo, blimey, can't believe K's so big already! :)

Cups, how horrible that you overheard that :( I agree with Maybe - there's such a stigma attached to IVF that really needs to be out in the open. In fact, I wish there was some way to educate people about TTC, and sensitivity, and whatnot. A friend of mine has just got instantly PG with her DC2, after getting instantly pregnant with DC1... and just goes on and on about it.. I don't think she even realises that others struggle.

Too nothing wrong with over indulging for a birthday! :) Ah, shredding.. I've been meaning to start but am not allowed to - but DH is doing his traditional pre-Christmas shred! I've been thinking the same about clothes - am deliberately wearing some lovely things I've been bought recently, hoping they'll be too small in the near future..! Wink.

Christmas-tastic here today. Just been asked to play for several Christmas events, and running a Christmassy choir rehearsal this evening. It's far too early :(

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 05/11/2013 17:03

I am just popping in to say I have had an amazing afternoon with our very own Geek and can confirm she's lovely :) I can also confirm that after thorough inspection, K thinks she has impressive boobs GrinGrin

OP posts:
TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 05/11/2013 17:54

Beedle, a tiny amount of bleeding means nothing! Fact. Brooking so hard for you and the Beedle2. Bet it's implantation bleeding. .

ControlCreeeaaak · 05/11/2013 21:03

Beedle honey all I can do is echo what everyone else has said. Ouchie to the idea of a plastic applicator! I bled from just the fanny candles but firk me their rear ends were sharp!!! I'm glad you don't have to deal with the conference on top of ivf, I think you handled it the best way possible. Lots if love and hugs to you xxx

Maybe the meeting with mrg's son was a-maz-ing. Utterly brilliant. On the saturday we met up at 1.30pm, and were still eating, drinking and talking gone midnight. Loads more I could say but I'm posting on my phone and already fed up of undoing the work of my imps fingers.

I can also confirm that boo, toddly boo and booby are just the most utterly gorgeous, wondrful company. Booby is now intimately acquainted with my own boobies and most perplexed that they don't work Grin

Too, belated congrats for your 30th, so pleased to hear about your extended celebrations. That's how it should be done!!!

Cups well done on getting through the weekend. I'm glad your lovely friend continued to be so senaitive but I'm so sorry for what you overheard. I couldn't have resisted saying something, so well done you xxx

I'm really sorry, I can't remember what anyone else wrote :( oooh can'remember who asked but my hair is a (hopefully) natural looking mid brown now :D

Love to all, will do a proper post when I'm back at home on the laptop xxx

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 06/11/2013 06:33

Good luck for this mornings test Beedle xxx

Thanks everyone, I don't think we left it too late either. We started ttc when I was 28 but clearly some people think we did. Oh well I can't be bothered to even get annoyed about it.

Geek sounds like you all had a lovely time. I'm so glad it went well with MrGs so.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 06/11/2013 06:37

Bfn Sad

CakePigeon · 06/11/2013 06:49

Oh Beedle I'm sorry I don't know you that well but I read this and couldnt leave it unanswered I'm so sorry it's a bfn, what day is this, could it be a bit early? And what kind of pee stick did you use? I'm here for handholding if you need it as I'm gmt +8 hours at the moment Thanks

GenericDietCola · 06/11/2013 06:59

So sorry Beedle Sad
