Your last thread got somewhat derailed so I thought I would treat you to a lovely shiny new place full of real open fires, fluffy blankets and an aga for baking bread and warming soups and stews. Back on with the job in hand ladies, lets have a round up of who's doing what and when.

I'm really glad you asked about Stacks as I was a bit confused too! Wow that would be amazing if she got a BFP straight away this time around. I'm brooking for some good news.

Fox sounds like it all went well with your GP. I'm glad to hear everything's moving. MrC was very shy about his sample too and I had to take it in for him. He soon got over that shyness as he ended up giving about 5 samples. Our GP wanted two samples. The lab cocked up twice and lost them, the third time the sample pot leaked in the lab and they didn't have enough to analyse.

We went to a patient evening at our clinic last night. It was about feeding back on patient experiences. We didn't hold back on how unhappy we are with our treatment so far. They seem keen to improve things so that's something at least. I've chased up our request to transfer funding with the pct but they say they haven't received it. My GP is on holiday. So I'll have to wait until next week to chase it up with her. Basically I'm no further ahead.

We have been away to visit my nephew this weekend. It was nice to see my sister. He is a really lovely baby, very content. I tried to keep really positive. I only had one moment when I was on my own with my sister. She started telling me a story about someone she knows who relaxed and got pregnant. The usual crap that you hear. I didn't say anything I just handed her back the baby and went outside for a few minutes. When I came back in she acted as if nothing happened and we carried on as usual. I felt I was probably a bit rude walking off like that but I'm sick of telling my whole family that I don't want to hear stuff like that. DH was brilliant with the baby which nearly broke my heart. We have got another 5 nephews. The youngest is 2 years old so it's been a while since I've seen him really interested in a baby. He's never that bothered about friends babies but he's always been a very hands on uncle. He fed him, changed his nappy and picked him up a few times when he was crying.

Fox, you need to keep the pot at body temp too. I had it shoved inside my T-shirt for the drive over :). It was freezing out at the time though. You have to tell MrFox not to spill any too, all the good stuff is in the first little bit, if he spills that it'll throw off the results completely.

Do the FRER actually show if the lies are that faint on an IC? I thought everything would give me a BFN unless the line was a bit stronger.

Cups my mum spent months telling me the cure for infertility was getting pissed! If I'd have told her that when she was struggling to conceive my little brother she'd probably have tried to kill me though. They spent 5 years TTC, and only got pg when they'd nearly completed their application to adopt. Oh well. It sounds like you handled your sisters comments well though.

Internet cheapies are rubbish Stacks. I was getting 2-3 weeks on a digi and faint on a cheapie

stacks I don't know for sure but I had heard that FRER are much much better than IC - so get to the shops

maybe no news on EC yet, I have a scan tomorrow morning, but last time I had to wait until the next day to find out when it would be. So unless all the follicles are about to burst I think we'll ahve to wait to find out. All the more reason for MrB to get something sorted soon, as there'll be no time to do anything on a friday afternoon. So far he hasn't plucked up teh courage/found teh time to ring even though I have reminded him, twice

MrB had to have appointments for his JIAJ, 1st time he took it in hiimself, teh 2nd I had it in my bra He only had to do it there when we had EC (but they did make him do it twice)

We're going swimming this morning, which just happens to be by a Boots... Maybe I'll arrange lunch with DH too, he hs no idea about faint lines yet.

Stacks I have heard of lots of people getting BFPs on FRER and nothing on the internet cheapies. Get yourself to a shop!

My mum ttc for 4 years and still likes to spout the usual gems like go on holiday, get drunk etc.. Plus she decided my IVF was going to work no matter how many times we told her the odds were against us. Not the best source of support!

I was a bit scared about telling the clinic staff what I really thought. The had quality managers there from the trust too. I did put some positive stuff in there. I said the nurses during EC and ET where great and I also mentioned the helpful sympathetic nurse who eventually dealt with me while I was miscarrying. I made sure I gave her name so the witch who I first spoke didn't get any credit. To be fair to them a lot of the negative comments about waiting to start treatment and the lack of reviews post failed cycles they all agreed with wasn't good enough.

cups WTAF that they haven't received your application. Rather they've purposefully lost it. It's all so frustrating isn't it, when this is hard enough already. Still, I assume you're still on the waiting list for your original clinic? Well done on how you coped with your sister. I'm sure she was trying to be nice, and encouraging, and I do think it's hard for people to know what to say. I guess the thing is that the overwhelming chances are that you will be knocked up, and soonish. But we've all been in the minority enough to not find that comforting.

fox you have reminded me of Spermgate. Was that MrMaybe who spilled his sample outside the pot, but gave it in anyway...? Or was that MrBeedle? I don't feel that sorry for them given all the prodding and poking that we have to go through, but it is quite a lot of pressure. A couple of times i gave MrK a helping hand, but i think he found it easier without me there, tbh. He had to hand in his samples at the hospital where he worked... Hoping he didn't bump into anyone who'd want to chat. Can you imagine?

Hi Keep, yep I'm still ready to go with my current clinic after my review in November. I'm not surprised by any of the delays anymore, I expect them. I'm in a bit of a denial phase at the minute I think because I wasn't even that bothered when I realised it's been a month and nothing's been done yet.
