Your last thread got somewhat derailed so I thought I would treat you to a lovely shiny new place full of real open fires, fluffy blankets and an aga for baking bread and warming soups and stews. Back on with the job in hand ladies, lets have a round up of who's doing what and when.

Happy anniversary! :)

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 16/10/2013 11:35

Ooh and happy anniversary Maybe Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/10/2013 11:36

Thanks Cups and Keep Thanks

Indeed Cups, let the name debate begin....

CakePigeon · 16/10/2013 11:47

wow lots to catch up with!

stacks do we have definitive news yet? Get thee a proper stick!

cups so sorry to hear to you had a difficult time with comments from your sister, people who never experience ttc for any length of time can be sympathetic to a point but don't really get it unless they see it for themselves via boards like this one and can really see how it affects people. My mother also said that they "tried for ages, like six months" which she found difficult because she got pregnant with me in the first month, I just gave her a withering look!

maybe a tiny brooking baby girl so exciting :) and happy anniversary - I hope you are celebrating!

beedle I hope your EC dates work out ok in the end, what a pain!

I think I probably should be in the dtd zone at the moment but I have such an exhausting week at work this week with late nights and early mornings so we have been terrible a bit lax at dtd

BeedlesPineNeedles · 16/10/2013 12:40

Congratulations maybe and happy anniversary Halloween Grin

I'm definately feeling happier about this IVF cycle now, and actually quite excited, and even though I'm still expecting it not to work there is a little bit of hope that it might Halloween Smile

RubberBullets · 16/10/2013 13:56

Still no FRER action? I'm in college and need news of a positive pee stick. I never got a dark line on an IC so don't let the fact that it was faint put you off.

Happy anniversary Maybe lovely to hear another brooking girl is on the way. Mine was poorly last night but some calpol seems to have done the trick as she is ok today.

Cake get shagging!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 16/10/2013 14:22

Ooh happy anniversary Maybe and Mr M Thanks

Cant believe we're still waiting for frer results

Hope N feels better Rubber, K is under the weather but I think she is teething :(

Beedle so pleased to see you are feeling happier about this cycle, there is nothing to say it won't work, plus you have extra brooking on your side Halloween Grin

Hey Brookers. Sorry to keep you all waiting, and sorry to tell you you're going to have to wait a little longer. I met DH for lunch today after swimming, and showed him the picture of the invisible line. He claims he can see it too, his response was "that's how T started" and "it's a bit quick". We'll have another talk about it later, but the suggestion was to test again in a couple of days. So I've ordered a two pack FRER from amazon, delivered tomorrow. I'll pee on one when the postman arrives on Friday morning.

Happy anniversary maybe.

Really glad you're feeling some hope for this IVF cycle.

DS is shouting at me and trying to grab my phone. Will check back in after bed time.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 16/10/2013 15:50

wait a couple of days stacks ? Does your DH not realise there is a whole group of brookers waiting for a BFP? Does he not realise how impatient we are? Halloween Grin Halloween Grin

Stacks · 16/10/2013 16:00

I'm not sure where the Beedle went from that last post, but it's ofc you I'm glad to hear the positivity from. I don't have anyway of knowing how hard it must be for you, I can imagine how the need to preserve yourself can stop you feeling any hope at all. I guess I still have that a bit too, I'm not going to call any invisible lines a bfp till it really is just that - a big fat positive.

ControlGeek · 16/10/2013 17:44

stacks I'm just popping on to mention that it's my birthday tomorrow, and since it is till 6 or 7 days too early for my own BFP, I am relying on yours. Pee tomorrow please Grin

I love that we all have our own visions of the follie dance! Mine is like the Wayne's World flashback dance

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 16/10/2013 19:36

Yay for little Fin being a girl, Maybe, and happy anniversary! How lovely. Finnula? Fiona? Fintana?

Stacks, you may have said you'd pee on a FR in a couple of days, but you'll be peeing on another internet cheapy tomorrow, right? Grin

Fox82 · 16/10/2013 22:58

Exciting stacks! In suspense over here!

Ahh a girl, maybe! Lovely news! And happy anniversary!

Happy birthday for tomorrow geek! Cake

Loving the positivity Beedle! Of course it'll work! Halloween Grin

Well done one walking away from the situation with your sister cups. I think I need to learn to walk away sometimes especially at work

Waves to everyone else! Sorry if I've missed anything, it's been busy here the last couple of days!

Mr F is going to arrange his appointment tomorrow and hoping to get it booked for next week if possible. It says on the letter that the sample must be done at home, and if it's more than an hour after being produced it won't be any good! Just as well we don't live too far from the hospital really! Halloween Hmm. And thanks for the tip stacks - will make sure DH provides the full sample Halloween Grin

BeedlesPineNeedles · 17/10/2013 06:12

Happy Birthday geek hope you have a lovely day with plenty of Cake

Hands stacks a ramekin so she can save the fmu for when the frer arrives :o

Off to my scan this morning, MrB has arranged with a colleague to cover his meeting if necessary on Monday, so that's all sorted. I just hope the bosses don't ask too many questions about why that was necessary.a

keepitgoing · 17/10/2013 08:11

Bravo mrbeedle!! Brooking for lots of juicy follies x

CakePigeon · 17/10/2013 08:17

happy birthday geek!

good luck at your scan beedles, really glad to hear you have got Mrbeedles all sorted out for Monday, you can relax and concentrate on your follicles now Halloween Smile

Stacks · 17/10/2013 08:27

Morning gals (is that an acceptable term? No idea why I want to use it this morning). Well, I POAIC this morning, and the line is definitely more there (even when I look at it in less than perfect lighting positions angled in a less than perfect way). I showed DH too, who seemed to be happier about it all this morning. We had a chat last night, and he owned up to being scared - he was scared before DS, but now can't imagine life without him, and he thinks it'll be the same with DC 2. Unfortunately I flushed away the pee - I was totally planning on keeping it for a FRER, but habit took over.

Happy Birthday Geek.

Glad DP has sorted out for Monday Beedle.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 17/10/2013 08:30

Good luck, Beedle!

Happy birthday, Geek!

Stacks, how are things this morning?

Hope MrF gets a speedy appt, Fox.

The rat-smacking has commenced in the Too household! even though according to FF I've got a week to go before I'm fertile I even symbolically lay with my feet up on the headboard afterwards for all of 3 minutes before deciding it was too uncomfortable.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 17/10/2013 08:34

Rat-smacking. Rat-smacking, ffs.

Cross-post with Stacks - yay! Hooray for slightly more present lines! How are you feeling? Glad DH is calming down and feeling happier.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 17/10/2013 08:39

Stacks it sounds really promising! I'm really excited for you but I get why you and DH are being cautious. Brooking for a big fat line tomorrow Grin

Geek happy birthday! Hope you have a lovely day and MrG spoils you rotten Smile

Beedle good luck with the scan, brooking for lots of juicy follies. Well done MrB for getting it all sorted.

Too good work on starting the rat smacking. I used to always stick my legs up afterwards until I got really bored of that about 2 years ago

BeedlesPineNeedles · 17/10/2013 09:14

it does sound promising stacks we'll get excited for you until you feel ready Halloween Smile

geek hope MrGeek has brought you breakfast in bed and that twatboss is sick so you won't need to see him today Halloween Grin

well the scan went well, she measured a few of them that varied from 13-23mm and said there were at least 9 there. They're going to call me tomorrow lunchtime to let me know if its going to be Mon or Tues for EC. poor MrB saw someone he knows through work in teh waiting room Halloween Shock though they were obviously there for the same reason so its not like they're going to mention it, but rather embarassing all the same.

Stacks · 17/10/2013 09:17

I somehow missed your news about the scan Beedle. Good luck!

Too go smack that rat :) I read the name Fintana as Finatra.. As in, Frank. A possibility Maybe? Congrats on the baby girl, are you looking forward to buying all the pretty things? I don't really believe in gender stereotypes, but I've found baby girl clothes seem to have more thought and detail put into them. Lots of the boy stuff was a bit boring, even when very cute.

keepitgoing · 17/10/2013 09:32

Good growing beedle!!

stacks I agree girls clothes tend to be cuter, but I'm not so keen on too much pink and frills
