Such happy people* even... And we are sure about it LOL

crazylady2013 · 16/09/2013 08:34

Thought I would add my details. I'm 35 (hoping to get a BFP before I get any older) and H is 30. We have been married for 7 (known each other for 10). We are both South African but been living in the UK for a while.
I'm in the craziness of 2ww and trying not to symptom spot. Instead swinging from being optimistic to thinking that there is no way I'm going to be BFP.

mama31 · 16/09/2013 08:40

Morning ladies!

Onefunky hope you get your bfp confirmed asap! I'm sure you are freaking out but you have a line on 2 tests so sounds like a bfp!

Sorry to those AF has got! And those waiting to test hope your bfp comes soon.

We dtd last night for the 8th time in a week (go me!!!) And had pos opk y'day (I will also do opk today later on) so hope we have it covered. Planning to dtd all this week as well, as have noticed that a lot of the bfps came from good old hard work (lots of dtd) so we are really giving it our all this cycle! Hope its successful!!!!

Good luck everyone!!

Ps Gilly......4am shag??????

m33r · 16/09/2013 08:56

Thought I'd add our vital stats: I'm 30, DH 41. Been together 5.5 years: married 8 months. Ttc #1 since December and getting a bit worried.

Find OPKs really helpful and really reassuring for those who're thinking of using them. Quite easy to use / find time for and I got my +ve ten days eArly so really pleased I've been using then as it got us going this month!

lucyfluff · 16/09/2013 09:11

Thankyou jellybean :) appreciate your post as things deffo get misinterpreted on here!!

Ho hum..happy days :) choccy your symptoms sound very promising ive got fingera crossed.

Could I just ask a question ladies. Has anyone had painful sex during ov? Dtd last night and a but ouchy....??!!!

Spirael · 16/09/2013 09:15

Ahah, found you all! I can't keep up over the weekends, I'm best at reading/posting during the week.

Your symptoms sound promising, Choccy! Will keep my fingers crossed for a BFP for you over the coming days. Hopefully we'll both get one! Wink

Sounds promising for you too, Funky. :) One of the tests I did was a Predictor and it was definitely a BFN, so it's not like they always give a positive result or anything!

Not much to report here. I did a test yesterday which was another BFN. Mostly so I could decide whether or not to have a drink. Since it was negative, I did! Wine

Symptoms were all pretty quiet over the weekend - or maybe I was just too busy with wine DIY to notice any. This morning I have a feeling that AF is on the way, however. Got some cramps, breasts are sore and my moods are on the turbulant side. Grr!

Assuming she hasn't arrived by tomorrow, I'll test one more time, then sit on my hands until the weekend. If there's still no AF by then, I might see about getting another test.

Pretty boring stats here... DH is 32 and I'm 31. Both English. Been together 10 years and married for 8. We currently have 1 DD together who is 3.

GillyBillyWilly · 16/09/2013 09:29

To anyone wondering... There was no 4am shag!

I was so out of it that I literally don't even remember DH getting up as leaving the house! Haha Grin

Our hearts ARE in it but it was never gonna happen at that time of day/night.

Anyway he's gone off to his conference and will be back tomorrow. We'll dtd then... And we dtd last night so.. It's all good I suppose Smile

Bit annoying we can't dtd today but ho hum!

Horay!!! Clearblue digi says "pregnant 1-2 weeks". Horrah, so that's a definate bfp here. Now I feel more excited!

Choccywoccydodah · 16/09/2013 10:08

Hurrah OFM!

jaykay987 · 16/09/2013 10:12

congrats onefunky! I expect seeing the words is much more reassuring than a dodgy looking line!

AFfinally arrived. I feel betternow I have closureSmile Its torturing me by being the craziest heaviest I've had in years!

Good luck anyone poas soon. I'll hover round to see the BFP that are bound to start stacking up soon! But I'll technically go and join the October bus!

GillyBillyWilly · 16/09/2013 10:19

Yaaaaay! Smile

GillyBillyWilly · 16/09/2013 10:20

Awww jaykay I'm sorry but I know what you mean... Sometimes it gets to a point where you know you aren't pregnant and just want AF to hurry up so you can crack on with a new cycle!
Good luck next month x

mama31 · 16/09/2013 10:23

Yay onefunky that's great news!!! A definate bfp!!! Woohoo!!!! :)

Sorry jaykay good luck next cycle!!

Feeling on top of ovulation this month, opks are positive and have a lot of ewcm today......there will be a serious session tonight!!!!

mama31 · 16/09/2013 10:25

Gilly I know what you mean, I'm out for the count when DH gets up at 6am let alone 4am!!!! Make sure you get it soon as he's back through the door!!

And hey we can do the crazy 2ww together....prepare for my insanity...its pretty bad!! Lol

onelifeonechance · 16/09/2013 10:26

Congrats onefunkymama Smile I'm hoping the BFP luck of having a similar starting name will rub off on me too Wink

Early days choccy, early days - good luck for when you next test

Sorry af finally put in an appearance jaykay but like you say at least you know where you're up to and it's now the start of a new cycle for you so fx the October bus is lucky for you!

Suz i'm sorry to hear you're still in limbo land - hope something changes asap so you know where you are and what's happening. In the meantime have a hug and some Cake don't worry, you can run it off later

Gilly 4am would def have been pushing it! I would've been too snoozy too. We managed a 5:30am deed once and only once deep concentration was required to focus on why we were bothering and not to fall back to sleep!! Lovely way to wake up though Wink

And hello and good morning to everyone else! Smile

onelifeonechance · 16/09/2013 10:31

Good luck for tonight mama not that you need it from the sounds of how busy you've been this month! We've gone for the dtd+++ strategy this month too. Managed CD8,9,10,11,12,13 and 15 which for us is pretty impressive unheard of

I'm plodding through the 2ww now - i'm somewhere between 3-5dpo - nothing to report so far - zilch in fact Hmm

mama31 · 16/09/2013 11:00

Thanks onelife! That is impressive! I'm not usually this good at dtd so often but I'm feeling it this month and DH is absolutely loving it!! Lol so we are heading for our 9th deed tonight!! Onelife I really hope all our hard work pays off!! Good luck in 2ww.....its such a long wait!!! Hope you get your bfp....you certainly worked for it this cycle! :)

Spirael · 16/09/2013 11:02

Woo, congratulations Funky! Grin Nothing quite like seeing it in digital black and grey. What's your due date?

Sorry that AF arrived, Jaykay. Hopefully next month will be the one for you!

I'm impressed at anyone who can manage early morning DTDing. I can barely crawl out of bed and dress in time to leave the house for work, there's no chance of anything else. Confused

Feeling faintly nauseated again here. If this is AF's idea of a joke, it's not funny! I might have to find a theraputic method of releasing hormonal rage later.

onelifeonechance · 16/09/2013 11:07

Thanks mama hope your hard work pays off too, good luck! Hoping ours does - not sure we've got the stamina for many more months like this one! Hey ho - you've got to be in it to win it - have fun tonight Wink

onelifeonechance · 16/09/2013 11:09

Trust me spirael - our early morning session was a once only performance - we were just back from a break away and think we were still in holiday mode - once work kicked back in sleep definitely won! Hope af stays the hell away from you

wispaxmas · 16/09/2013 11:43

OFM!! YAY!!

How many dpo are you??

Choccywoccydodah · 16/09/2013 11:48

Spotting again. Darker brown this time, driving me insane all this waiting!

mama31 · 16/09/2013 12:03

Awh choccy so annoying!! I had that last cycle was driving me nuts!!

PurpleGeekyGirl · 16/09/2013 12:04

I'm not suprised you were sleepy at that time gilly!! We did managed to dtd at 2.30am on Sat night after DP got home from his gig, but it's nothing something that's ever happened before (or will happen again lol!).

Hmmm I still have ewcm. Lots of it... Am on cd15 now and by my reckoning ovd on cd 10 or cd11. ewcm usually dries up 24-36 hours after ov so really not sure what's going on here this cycle.

It's our 2 year anniversary today (1, 2, 3 ahhh!) so will dtd when I get back from work later. Am also hoping the strategy of copious dtd works for us, tho it hasn't in previous cycles... Currently we've managed cd5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13.

Hugs congrats to the BFPs < beam > and fx to everyone else.

wispaxmas · 16/09/2013 12:09

Choccy, I'm surprised at how early you've had spotting if it is AF.. I had 3 days of spotting before the witch turned up last month, but you've had it earlier than that, at around the time you would expect implantation bleeding if you're one of the rare ones to have it.. but then again, you wouldn't expect it for more than a day if it was. I don't know what to say other than that I hope you get an answer soon.
