Goodluck choccy I'm very tempted to poas. But I don't want to get a bfn. Only 5 days to go now, so the wait doesn't seem so long anymore. Have you got any symptoms at all? I have nothing really besides just feeling more down and irritable than usual, which usually happens when I have pms.

What does everyone think of having foil highlights? Im due to have some on saturday which is around my bfp date. My hairdresser friend has already bought them ready. I think its ok as theyre foils but now im second guessing.... I dont even normally get them was just desperate for a change feeling a bit blah at the moment.

cupcake I think that the problem is that when you're pregnant you're skin is more sensitive, so I think as long as you do a skin test with it beforehand it should be fine. I think you are meant to do a skin test even if you have had the colour treatment before without a problem.

Report
leezl · 15/09/2013 22:57

Foils are usually safe for people with skin sensitivities as the dye shouldn't touch your scalp. If you're worried, ensure your friend applies the product to your hair only (leaving space at the root). Have fun :)

Bfn Hmm. Will try again tomorrow in a couple of days.

Jessie, I've had backache high up, then lower the further away from ov, metallic taste forever, belly cramps since 2dpo, spotting at 7dpo, headache this morning, poking feeling in belly by belly button last night, runny nose for last 2 days, tingling nipples since 2dpo, strong sense of smell for 2 days, and gassy for about 4 days.

Freaked out this morning, I did another Early Predictor test this morning and again a faint positive. Then I looked online at reviews and loads of people say this brand has given them false positives, can't get to the shops until tomorrow. Totally confused, and concerned!

I thought you already had a positive OFM?

Report
jessieagain · 16/09/2013 07:35

choccy those are all quite promising signs! Do you ever have similar as pms? When is the best time to test (what do the test packets say?) I haven't bought any or even looked at them in the shops. I don't want to test too early, as want a definitive answer, so what do they recommend?

You are 10 days post ovulation aren't you choccy?

Report
jessieagain · 16/09/2013 07:41

I ovulated sometime during the week beginning the 1st. Don't know exact date as no opks.

Im going to have to buy some opk tests aren't I? I bought some when we were ttc ds, but as we conceived him first cycle I never used them and they expired. Not knowing is really bothering me now Confused

onefunkymama I used them as well and then backed it up with a CB digital... So I think they can still be correct, but I would suggest you to buy another brand, just so you get the same positive with 2 brands or call the doc and get them to test you ....

Report
onefunkymama · 16/09/2013 07:44

choccy so did I but both times its been faint and taken a while to show up so I googled these tests and loads of people are reporting false positives. I'm going to find a way to get a better test today. No AF, sore boobs all looks right but, I have lost my confidence in these tests. Didn't think you could get a false positive but with this brand, maybe... Keep fingers crossed!

Choccywoccydodah · 16/09/2013 07:46

I didn't use them last time either Jessie. I bought some to try on 3rd cycle, but fell pg second cycle.

I'm only on first cycle, so not even had a proper af yet, only withdrawal bleed, so not really sure about af signs tbh. I ov'd on the 6th I believe Smile positive opk on the 5th and 6th.

I didn't think you could get a false positive onelife, but if that's what you're reading I would def get another.
I just use Internet cheapies and I never had anything but a faint line last time and he's currently sitting on daddy's lap watching Noddy Smile

Morning all, Choccy keeping my FX you get a nice strong positive with the next test. Good luck.
AF got me while I was away so I'm sadly leaving the bus. Hope to not see any of you on the next one, and you all get the BFPs you're hoping for. X

Morning - I'm all caught up on the weekends chat!

Congrats to italian and I've got everything crossed for you onefunkymama that it's a proper positive.

Am I too late to give you my vital statistics? No... oh good, here goes.

I'm 33 and he is 5 years younger (Go me!) Been together 4 and a half years, known each other 8 (He was very young when we first met, so had to wait for him to get some life experience first and a psycho ex, so that my craziness didn't seem so bad - I also needed to kiss a few more frogs!)

Not married but it's been discussed - decided there was nothing wrong with baby coming first.

Both British and London dwellers.

Hey ladies, sorry I've been keeping away from mn as still haven't had AF yet (cd68) though I think it's coming as nipples at sooooo sore. And I got like a stitch/cramp down there yesterday, not like a AF pain though.

Am I the baby on here?! I'm 24 (25 Jan) and DP is 28 (29 Mar)

Congrats to all the bfps. Just been catching up on the old bus. I knew about international's situ from the 2ww thread. I agree with already aired opinions, not in the slightest judging you Grin

Would also like to say, did anyone see lucyfluff's post? Misunderstanding of the post? Everyone was quick to jump to say something but no one has recognise that she didn't mean it that way!

I just hate seeing negative being thrown around. We are sure happy people Grin BIG SMILES PLEASE!!
