It really is vj. Jessie. Pretty sure. I got lines on ic on Thursday then a darker one on Friday - did the diggie to confirm. Then also had a smiley on Saturday. By Sunday, smiley was gone and lines in ic were the same shade.

Also, we didn't dtd the mon- thurs because I thought I was on a 40 day cycle so didn't expect much. We did dtd fri, sat, sun (x2) and mon. So if pg, I would only be like a minute pg. pretty sure I'm out ... Though I have that pathetic hope... !

Sorry to be dopey- whats POAS? I'm day 4PO, but trying to be chilled, as was very surprised/ disappointed when AF arrived last month- almost was in denial thinking it was implantation bleeding, until it went on for 4 days! Then had to accept it was AF ha ha!!!

m33r I'm sorry but I don't understand. Maybe you ov now? Why is that a bad thing? There is still a chance of getting/being pregnant until af comes.

Also longer cycles may not necessarily be a bad thing (apart from extra waiting of course). As long as you ov and dtd there is a chance of pregnancy. Fingers crossed for you

Hi Jessie. It's just the long cycles and when I got the positive opk I thought they had shortened again... I've been trying for 10minths and when I got the positive opk I just thought it was a great sign and this was it. Now I just need to go back to plan A (long cycles and ov-ing now) and get over myself.

Never mind eh? What it is also means is that Friday will not be my BFP.

Sorry being a bit negative; just gutted for no reason at all really.

Hi Jessie. No LP normal. I ovulate at cd 25 give or take. It means that people 'lap' me with trying. I'm still trying to hope its pg. ridiculous but until hpt never Friday I'm hanging in there. To be honest, this is why I don't poas: I just need to have some hope... 40 days you have a lot of 'dead time'. Not fertile; no 2 ww - just nothing.

Anyway, I'm getting myself picked back up and getting non with it. 11th minth's a charm!!

My cycles are slightly longer but I have a slightly longer lp, so i can test (with some confidence) before af comes.

Average cycle is 33 days, but I'm also slightly irregular so can be as 'early' as 31 and as late as 36.

If I get a bfn this month I will be skipping the October bus and waiting for the November bus!

Evening all. Had a monumental occurance last night, accident, friend airlifted to hospital, etc. All ok, broken bones (hers not mine) but left me dealing with (her) 10 extra animals!! So not been on here.

My cycles are 25 days which is goid for less waiting, and in a few mobths i will have TWO bfp days in the same month!! BUT! it means i worry short cycle = short LP.

Notta. I've been following your lp issues and it does remind me that we're all different and if I wasn't stressing about too long, it'd be too short! It's just good to feel all in it together regardless of issue and usually someone has a similar issue..

I hope your friend is ok and you are too... You are probably still high in andrenalin and should prepare (and take some time) for a 'dip'.

In the spirit of staying positive I am going to symptom spot, keep doing opks and get on to dtd. I will still not do a hpt til at least Friday (though that may change with my phantom symptoms!) :-o

Who had the attentive cats as a symptom? Mine has slept literall pressed up to me the last few nights. He is often on the bed but not normally that close!

m33r you are right of course, anything is a worry when it comes to ttc. I guess i should really try to pin my ov day down so i know what my lp is.

Bfn only 9dpo but prob means I'm out this month. At least I can relax now and stop obsessing and symptom spotting!

That was me with the attentive cats, Notta. :) I had all three of them on me again yesterday, and two of them hate each other! Just got one bothering me at the moment.

So, took another test last night. I thought there was a faint line again, but DH (FH?) still claimed there was nothing there. However... Took another one this morning and he's FINALLY admitted there is a line. So while I wouldn't exactly call it a BFP, it's a FVP (Faintly Visible Positive) which still counts.

However I'll stick around for a little while yet, if that's ok? I lost one at 5-6 weeks before DD, so I won't be relaxing just yet! I have a couple of CB Digis, one of which I'll take tomorrow. I'll save the other for the following weekend and hopefully see a time increase. Otherwise I'll prep for a chemical again.

The stats for anyone interested... Last AF 24th Aug, DTD on CD 8, 10, 12, 14 & 22 (for fun). Assumed OV on CD 11-13, which meant I was getting a really faint line on DPO 13-15 and a more visible one on 14-16.

I'm now going back to bed, because I'm full of cold and can only take paracetamol. Geh...
