Not too sure but I think I could be ovulating. I have some white discharge and it's slimy to wipe myself. Hope this isn't T.M.I, but I get some of the mucas between my fingers and it was very stretchy. However what I don't understand is according to the mumsnet ovulation calender I was at my most fertile last Friday, also I am in my 2ww so could I be ovulating and in my 2ww at the same time. It's all really confusing. Perhaps I need to listen to my body rather than going by calenders.
If I am in ovulation I'm lucky I'll be D.T.D with in the next hour. Keep your FX that I concieve baby international tonight xxx

VJONES1985 · 18/09/2013 17:29

Ewcm is usually clear so you could be in 2ww and this is just normal mucus. Check your cervix position, as that will be a massive clue.

wispaxmas · 18/09/2013 17:33

International, I thought you weren't tracking, just hoping? Just relax, you'll drive yourself nuts!

mama31 · 18/09/2013 17:35

I'm 2dpo and yes bored out of my mind!!

VJONES1985 · 18/09/2013 17:42

Off for a run soon. What's the guidance on exercise when ttc? Anyone know?

internationallove985 · 18/09/2013 17:46

Hi Vjones. I take my hat off to you. The only type of exercise I get is erm D.T.D. Speaking of which I am off now to get a quick bath he's coming at 6. I'm ready to pounce. xx

m33r · 18/09/2013 17:58

Vjones. I have the same question. Have taken up squash which I know isn't ideal when you're far down the line but I wouldn't have thought it's be a problem at 1-2weeks?? It seems a daft thing to take up but I don't want to put my life on hold in case it doesn't work out...??

VJONES1985 · 18/09/2013 18:26

I'm the same. My running buddy and I run three or four times a week and it's important not to put everything in one's life on hold when ttc otherwise we'd be even sadder than we already are ;-)

mama31 · 18/09/2013 18:38

I'm running 3 times a week but will move to power walking when I get my bfp...prob wouldn't matter in the early days but just if something went wrong I'd prob blame the running lol crazy that I am!!!

m33r · 18/09/2013 18:53

Mama and vj. Looks like we have a consensus. V reassuring. Now going to take my frustration out on a wall!

Spirael · 18/09/2013 18:57

So, I tested with one of my newly acquired cheapies when I got home and... Another BFN. Hmm But then I guess at this time of day my urine was fairly dilute. Unless I start spotting, I'll test again tomorrow morning.

Typically, now my nose is getting snuffly and my throat is sore. Feels like a cold is on the way. Normally I'd consider taking meds, but I can't just in case I do get a BFP and not AF. Gah!

mama31 · 18/09/2013 19:03

Awh sorry spireal but not over yet!!

LH1981 · 18/09/2013 19:59

Hello everyone, please can I join this very crowded bus? Smile
I have absolutely NO idea if I'm in my 2ww or not lol.
I'm 32 and ttc baby no.3. I only came of my pill 3+ weeks ago after being on it for 5 years and OH and I have been dtd every day since then.

I've had no withdrawal bleed, or period since stopping and so I have no idea where in my cycle I am. Had very strong pregnancy symptoms about two weeks after stopping, but they have now subsided a lot and plus I've read everywhere that Cerazette causes these 'fake' symptoms when you stop taking it.

I am one crazy lady, POAS every five minutes (all neg), convinced I'm up the duff when in reality it's highly unlikely before my body gets back to normal.

Please can I be crazy with you?? Blush

mama31 · 18/09/2013 20:07

LH welcome! Of course you can be crazy with us!!

I came off cerazette end of july and during that time waiting on withdrawl bleed/af I also felt convinced I was pregnant! But 3 weeks later finally got af and now on cycle 3 of ttc after cerazette but seem to have short cycles now.

Cerazette is a horrible pill to come off I felt so awful and mood swings were terrible but I'm much more settled this last couple of months so it does subside :)

Good luck I hope you can figure your cycle soon but I know what its like when you wish/hope it will happen straight away...and maybe it will...but if not we are here to share the crazy thoughts, 2ww's and symptom spotting (it helps to share on here and not with DH so he doesn't know how crazy I actuall am lol) good luck!! :)

LH1981 · 18/09/2013 20:23

Thanks mama31! It's all consuming isn't it? We only just decided to go for no 3 and already I'm like 'now now now!'
I hope once AF does inevitably arrive, I'll calm down a bit. Luckily my mood has been quite stable, apart from being moved easily to tears by things that my normally hardened soul would scoff at lol - another of the dreaded cerazette withdrawal symptoms.
Glad to be amongst like-minded (hopefully just as bonkers) company xx

mama31 · 18/09/2013 20:27

Absolutely! Best place to be!! Lol what age are your 2 children?? I'm very impatient and also just want it to happen right here and now! If only we could control these things!! Good job on dtd every day tho...I've just done ten days on the trott and I'm knackered...ovulation has ended and I'm taking a couple of days without dtd to recharge lol its hard work (well not for DH he's loving it)

onefunkymama · 18/09/2013 20:32

Re the exercise conversation, I am finding that my muscles, especially lower back are getting tired much more easily even at this early stage. I did a Pilates class this week which would normally not cause any troubles at all (gym goer, pretty fit) and I really ached this morning, so much so that even looking downward made my pelvis sore at the back. Cutting back to walking now. Obviously the hormones are softening my ligaments already.

mama31 · 18/09/2013 20:35

How many weeks are you onefunky?? I suppose you just go by your body and just do what feels comfortable and cut out what doesn't. I'd love to do yoga or something to keep fit when preggo but I guess it will depend how I feel at the time! These things always sound good in theory....

How are you feeling onefunky generally??

internationallove985 · 18/09/2013 20:35

Hi LH1981. Welcome to the thread. Good luck on your journey. x

LH1981 · 18/09/2013 20:41

Mama31, I have two boys age 5 and 6. Are you trying for no 1? Exciting!! I hope it happens this cycle for you!

Onefunkymama, having been through it twice before (although quite a while ago now), things do start happening quite fast re stretching and growing so you will notice aches and pains, particularly when exercising. I think it's fine to carry on, just take things more gently than usual?

internationallove985 · 18/09/2013 20:56

Just finished D.T.D, so let's hope I've created my miracle. I Wanted us to be finished before 8 so I could watch animal maternity but reasoned I can watch it at 9 on 5+1. I'm all on my lonesome as D.D stays out tonight as well as Fridays and he doesn't stay over on a Wednesday, so I might be back on later for a chat.

Good luck to all those .D.T.D tonight. Let's hope there has/will be some new lives created.

Also enjoy your rest Mama, after all that hard work, you certainly deserve it. (L.O.L). XX.
Oh Animal maternity will starting any minute. Talk to everyone either later or over the next few days. xxx

m33r · 18/09/2013 21:07

Welcome aboard lh1981! If you're b

m33r · 18/09/2013 21:09

Hi lh1981. If you're bonkers you're in the right place! Also very supportive. We all have ups and downs on here but never all down at the same time! And plenty tips ... Though with two boys, I think you're a dab hand!

onefunkymama · 18/09/2013 21:12

LH yes, I think you're right, this is my third too but my last was 9 years ago, defo feeling it more this time in the muscles.

Mama, I'm not certain but think only 4 weeks. If feel, apart from very sore boobs and being tired, more or less normal at the moment.

Still watching the thread here though, good luck FX

LH1981 · 18/09/2013 21:13

Thanks InternationalLove and m33r!
Good luck to you both too! X
