Aww, bless him Jessie, he just loves being close to his mummy :)
And don't give up yet re af! You're a long way off yet.......

CoffeeGuzzler · 12/09/2013 13:52

I hate 2ww. The more relaxed I try to be, the more I can't be.

Spirael · 12/09/2013 14:18

I may have to reconsider my testing schedule... I've had building nausea since mid-morning, just gagged at the smell walking past the fish counter at Morrisons and my breasts are sore. Hmm

However, all this could just mean I'm building up for the period from hell! The last few have been quite mild, so I am due a bad one.

I may have to test this weekend just so I know whether I can drink my way through it or not. Wink

If I did ov early, which might explain the early appearance of EWC, then I'd be on 10 DPO today.

Well done for BFing for those vital early weeks Choccy and then beyond for jessie! I'm somewhere in between... DD was born nearly three weeks early (I was only just within the sign off to have my home birth!) and arrived in < 5 hours.

It was so fast that my breasts didn't get the message to start the milk production quick enough. 3 days later it still hadn't come in! So we ended up mix feeding from relatively early, though I'd say she was mostly breast fed until I weaned her off at around 7 months, before I went back to work.

I'll actually be more relaxed about mix feeding next time around (assuming there is one!) as to me it seems to be the best of both worlds. :)

Sparrowlegs248 · 12/09/2013 16:16

I am pages and pages behind.

disney my DH has been rubbish about dtd. He thinks we should carry on as normal and 'see what happens' grrr! We are in the early days C3, and i am sure he will still be of the see what happens attitude if i bring it up.

Trouble is, i am not good at initiating dtd!! I need to man up and get on with it.

MrsB2013 · 12/09/2013 16:34

Afternoon Ladies

Congrats on the BFP'S Clarey and Snooze Lets hope we have loads more on this bus.

Sorry to those af got and those that feel a bit down Flowers This ttc is more stressful than I thought it would be.

My DH is also pretty clueless at knowing there are only a couple of days you can actually conceive! This month has been a very slow start for me, Dh has been ill with man flu so we managed to dtd last night for the first time this cycle, I'm on CD16 today, so hoping we haven't missed the window! Last cycle, I think if I ovulated it was CD16/17 but not sure as I don't use opk's (yet)

keepswimming1 · 12/09/2013 16:59

Hi guys - it must be a man thing, I think they are all the same.

I also get 'see what happens' drives me insane!!
At this rate I will be lucky to get a bfp as he works away all the time!
I feel everyone's pain :(
I'm getting some chocolate on the way home tonight (sod the diet) lol

I see I have miss another 2 BFP - Congratulations to you both x :)

DisneyDiva87 · 12/09/2013 17:06

Ha! I got a text earlier from DH saying "you're putting yourself under pressure let things take their course"

Men are useless.

Did you want to throw your mobile at the wall Disney?

GillyBillyWilly · 12/09/2013 17:49

Disney are we married to the same man!? My DH says the exact same thing!

wispaxmas · 12/09/2013 17:50

H and I we both in the see-what-happens camp for the first three cycles.. No tracking or anything, just dtd as and when, really, but shortly before AF last showed up we had a frank discussion about it and he let slip that he is really excited about becoming a dad and wanted to do all we could to get pg.. So got a thermometer and opks.

Have you thought about talking about how much you want to try? Maybe he'll come around to the idea of timing dtd if you do..

PinkHat1 · 12/09/2013 17:55

Disney and Gilly we must all be married to the same man as my DH usually texts me things like this! Frustrating but also quite funny too, his TOTAL lack of understanding how conception works!

I've been away for a while but big congrats to all the BFP! I'm in the wonderful 2ww, oh what joy! AF due sometime mid next week. Will of course keep you updated with results...

Choccywoccydodah · 12/09/2013 18:39

found this site about symptom spotting thought you might like it Grin

internationallove985 · 12/09/2013 19:04

I'm in my fertile period. Just learned my most fertile day is Friday 13th, so hopefully it will be lucky for me.

D.T.D last night and managed a very quick one tonight from 5.30-6ish as D.D went to town with her friend after school, I called him earlier on and arranged for him to come around. He's staying over tommorow. will have to fit loads of sex in with it being my fertile period. I'm sure he wont be complaining.

Also thankyou choocy for the symptom spotting page, congrats to all the B.F.P'S and sorry for everyone who has been visited by the witch and good luck to all those including myself who are still trying. xxx

VJONES1985 · 12/09/2013 19:27

Got positive opk today (cd17, same as last month). We're following smep so will be dtd for the next three days. Trying not to think about last month's 7-day luteal phase, as it will only worry me about this month :-S

jaykay987 · 12/09/2013 19:27

Wow - that's good to have two consistent ov days so soon after pill withdrawal.

Good luck!

VJONES1985 · 12/09/2013 19:35

Thanks ;-) Have been taking 100mg of b6 for about a week now in the aim of sorting out my lp.

Writerwannabe83 · 12/09/2013 19:43

Really glad to hear that VJONES - the best of luck with smep!! x x

VJONES1985 · 12/09/2013 19:46

Thanks. Am so much more relaxed this month - I think I need to have more faith in my body because it seems to be sorting itself out after the pill.

internationallove985 · 12/09/2013 20:02

With the risk of embarrassing oneself what is S.M.E.P. xx

internationallove985 · 12/09/2013 20:02

Also writer have you had your 12 week scan, yet, and how are you feeling? xx

Choccywoccydodah · 12/09/2013 20:03

smep international

internationallove985 · 12/09/2013 20:06

Thanks Choccy, even more embarrassing is I always asked that question the other day. Oops. xx

panicmechanic · 12/09/2013 20:15

Congrats to all BfPs! I am feeling very sickly, sore boobs and exhausted. Why are the symptoms of AF and BFP so similar. I also had a tiny bleed today or now doubly confused. I am due to test on Tuesday if the witch doesn't come before. I have two parties this weekend and the thought of going out makes me feel tired! I am potty training my DD at the moment and she has woken up every night not wanting to wee in her nappy bless her - so I could be tired because of that :/

Writerwannabe83 · 12/09/2013 20:15

My scan is on Monday, International - thanks for asking. I'm still feeling pretty shitty and I have been off work for 3 weeks now!! I saw my GP yesterday to talk about me retuning to work but she still isn't happy for me to do it Hmm

internationallove985 · 12/09/2013 20:25

Hi Writer sorry to hear you're not feeling great, but it'll all be worth it when your're hold your little miracle. You'll probably cry when you see him/her on the screen. I cried at both my 12 week and 20 week scan. xx
