ELR I'm curious about your method to ttc a girl....so you dtd just before ovulation but not on the day of actual ovulation?? What is the science behind this? Is it known to work? Ill be very curious to see if it works for you!! As we are told we get what we get and you can't choose the sex of your baby. My family is full of little boys!! I love them all and would be ecstatic to have another boy....but the pressure is always on when someones preggers to have a girl! Lol

Mama, apparently girl sperms are slower but last longer inside, boys are quicker but die quicker. So if you dtd earlier, chances are only the girls are left Smile

Thanks for the biology lesson choccy! Lol I def needed that! Not sure when I ovulated but got a 2nd line (quite strong but not just as strong as the control line) both on sat and sun, there has been no line since when I used opks mon, tue and wed. We dtd sat, sun X2, tue and wed so who knows if we've hit it or not! Its all a mystery with my cycle!!

Anxiously in my 2ww mama! Trying not to symptom spot, but I can't help it. Keep going online to see when is the earliest I can test! I'm only 8dpo this Saturday, but apparently it can show that early so will give it a go! Nt holding my breath though!

I kept a record Blush and we dtd Cd 6,8 (x2), 11,13 (x2), 14,15,17... Sorry if that's tmi but hope it helps

Cd17 today and yet another negative OPK Hmm

However my cervix is so high I can hardly touch it Blush and I think I'm getting a little bit if EWCM... Sooooo hopefully ov is on the way.

Bit baffled by my OPKs so far this month because I usually have a faint line every day and then eventually a dark line and smiley face ....Smile

This month I'm not even really getting faint lines... A couple of days I've had a really faint line... Other days theres been nothing! I'm not used to this. There's normally something there! Agghh!

We just DTD a few times a week, I tried not to get obsessed by it all!! Came off the pill in June so I know I have been very lucky

Had three days of flashing smiley, and today I got a O, not a fixed one. EWCM all gone too... Is it possible to ovulate without a fixed smiley?

Congrats snoozy and clarey, nice to see some bfp news, hopefully you've started a run of good luck now!

I'm out, af came a whopping 5 days early last night. But started using opks for the first time this month and found out I ov'd earlier than predicted and still had a 14 day lp so kind of had yesterday in mind as 'real' af due date.

It's at least shown me the opks were correct as they were internet cheapies, so am confident in reading them now.

Will keep an eye on the bus to see the forthcoming bfps, good luck everyone!

AFM, after my positive opk yesterday H couldn't perform last night Sad so this morning after seeing that my temp had shot up I basically rolled on top of him.. I don't think missing yesterday will hurt our chances, as we'd been going daily until then and I might manage to grab another chance tonight, though I doubt it.

Where are my cycle buddies? Who's just starting the 2ww?

Wispa, assuming I have ov'd then I am just starting the tww. Not sure I did ov tho as only had flashing smileys but did get ov pains and ewcm so who the feck knows what's going on! Have 21 day bloods booked for next fri so maybe that'll show something...

Lol writer my DH is ready for it any time of the day or night...but I love my sleep so we grab opportunities morning, afternoon and early evening when we can! :) I can hardly keep up with him tbh! Lol but I am doing a pretty good job at it this week....pat on the back for me! Haha!

Charleslingus please share your opk knowledge as I'm confused (as always) I got 2nd line sat and sun (was a very strong 2nd line but not just as strong as the control line) had no 2nd line prior to sat and have had no 2nd line after sun. Wtf does this mean??? I'm assuming ovulation was immenent sat/sun?? Help!!

AF has arrived I think, so I'm out for this month :( I'm pretty upset but what can you do. We're at a wedding today, so hopefully that'll take my mind off the inevitable pain I'll be in later on! AF sucks :(

But, next cycle will be the first time I'll be using OPK. I'm just hoping I don't discover that I don't ov or anything...fx!
