Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share and with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

No I haven't done another yet. I asked DP this morning if it was a dream though! Clear blue says if it's that early to use fmu which I didn't, it was around 6pm so I think my levels of hcg are good.

Have slight crampiness which I believe is normal. Just to reassure myself will prob test again toward the end of the week as I only have one cheapy left, though I could use every OPK in the house and test hourly!

I think I ovulated late this month maybe cd19/20 does anyone know if that means af is likely to be late? other wise I'll have very short lutuel phase and no chance of veing preggers.

eek hospital just phoned with my pelvic ultrasound appointment. That was quick! It's this Saturday. So scared and nervous but glad to be getting it sooner rather than later. DP isn't sure if he can come because we might not have a babysitter for ds. Really don't want to go alone. Hold my hand shaggers!

I'm going to see about cysts, does anyone know if they will only check for the cysts or will they look at everything?

I keep having thoughts somewhere along the lines of 'Life of Brian' where all the women wear crap beards so they can attend the stoning. I imagine some male reporters dressed in lady clothes they've found in a bin bag somewhere trying to pretend they're JSers.

Wagga - when my DH couldn't come to my HSG ad I needed someone to come with me, I asked a friend who isn't my closest friend, but someone I knew would be discreet and who was sympathetic. Turns out she'd had some problems TTC too and had had the very same procedure. She was brilliant and I was so glad I asked her. Is there any way you might be able to find someone similar in RL? If not, we can be here to hold your hand.

Aw bear sorry about the BFN but I laugh at your dying of shock at a BFP, I feel the same!

wagga I had a pelvic ultrasound in April and my DP was late so I went in on my own and he met outside after and took me for cake. I wouldn't have wanted him in there and it was completely fine, if a bit...odd. Don't know if that helps.

I'd be interested in a secret FB group though I don't know how to organise anything like that.

Completely exhausted this week and JSing seems laughable to both of us. No idea why we never have any energy, I don't suppose the clocks changing has helped but I don't think it'll be the month and haven't even iced yet. Hey ho! Good luck anyone JSing this week or testing, more BFPs!!

who asked about icing late? don't think anyone answered....if you ice late AF will be later. literal phase doesn't shouldn't ever change so add no of days late you are icing to date AF due and that's when she's really due. hope that saves you some pee sticks! although depending on what decoration you want to create you may need the extra Grin Grin

Hmmm it's closed but not secret. It is literally 'jsing mumsnetters'. No one will be able to see posts if they aren't in the group. Oh and you can hide any stories about yourself from your timeline.
