I loved being pregnant, I wasn't sick at all, just had nausea for the first couple of months. I also never got particularly big or uncomfortable - I was still going out for walks when I was overdue, could walk a couple of miles with just a bit of hip discomfort.
However I hated having to be induced, my body just didn't seem to want to give birth. I ended up on the hormone drip, but when they stopped it everything stopped - absolutely nothing natural about my birth experience in the end. I wanted a water birth with just gas and air, instead I had an epidural and emergency csection. :(
Truth I'm sure you said, but how old is your DC? I'm still bf too, my DS is 9m and I only just got my first AF. Hoping it'll be quick and easy getting pg this time!
mrsm I'm not sure how I'm going to time testing if I don't get AF! There's no guarantee our cycles will be at all predicable, so how do you know when you're late?! I think I'll probably wait as long as I can, then start testing one day a week, probably weekends. Not too much disappointment, but not too much second guessing either I hope.
donnas yep, a line is a line. You can't get a false positive! It'll be very early days, but right now, you are pregnant. Congratulations!
Hungry it's soo hard not to symptom spot, and so unfortunate that most early pg symptoms are also pre-AF symptoms. As long as you don't go mental with it, it can be fun to indulge in some symptom spotting :) I'm not letting myself think about it too much, or I know I'll get super impatient. I am taking my bbt each day though, to try and spot ovulation so I can stop making the effort to dtd when tired so I know when to expect AF next.
Metal trying to spot ovulation is almost as bad as symptom spotting pg for me. I try and just dtd eod as long as I can, and ignore when ovulation might be - at least until my temp change shows it happened and I can relax.
