The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

Bumbling along here in the office. Stupidly decided to give myself another half hour's lie-in after temping at 7am and then managed to turn the alarm OFF.... So v late in.

Bad news is, CD31 but temps going dooooown. So I think tomorrow will be AF, as my FF chart predicts. At least that would give me a bang-on 14 day LP, which is good....... right? Sad

This is just the longest cycle I have ever had and I was so hopeful.... Ah well.

RevoltingPeasant · 21/09/2013 10:51

And Bunny general anaesthetics really are fine. If you ever want to PM me I can talk you through exactly what they did in each of mine, so you know what to expect :)

yorkiebilb · 21/09/2013 11:35

Morning all!

Hope you're all enjoying your weekends. Had rather a shock yesterday when ordering in meds for IUI next cycle. Pretty sure fc told us it would cost a lot less but in boots was told the meds would come to grand total of £500 ON TOP of what we're paying for IUI already! Gulp! Rung up DH and cried down the phone!

Anyway after the shock I've been researching and can get them cheaper online or at Asda. Rung boots up and they said they will price match if I find it cheaper elsewhere which is slightly better as will work out a hundred quid off. Still pretty fuming that fc didn't tell us the cost of the medication on top of what the IUI was costing. Lesson learnt I think to ask for full costs of EVERYTHING! If any of you end up going private let me know cos I've researched it to death now!

BlindKitty · 21/09/2013 11:50

bunny just re-read my post and it looks like I was telling you who you could tell. Meant you might 'want' it as you're little secret once diffed!

yorkie what meds have they put you on? Are you on injectables? £100 off is pretty good bargain work! I booked my car in to have its wing mirror put back on because I drove into a bus last week. They quoted £300 and then my local mechanic said he could do it for £100 tops!

yorkiebilb · 21/09/2013 12:10

How are you doing kitty?

I'm doing Gonal-f every other day and then ovitrelle as a trigger shot. I've no idea what these mean other than gonal-f is basically fsh and better for my high fsh than taking clomid. What did you take?

RevoltingPeasant · 21/09/2013 18:20

Ooh it's quiet on here today.

So far no AF, just (TMI! TMI!) faint, very small amounts of browny discharge. But I do often get this before AF so think it's settling in....

How is everyone else? It's bloody miserable weather here today and I've been in the office all day.....

CatsCantFlyFast · 21/09/2013 18:24

Rp I am really really stalking your chart praying AF stays away
Sid have you started on the sweeties today?
no X factor spoilers please, I'm off to a comedy night so will be watching catch up

RevoltingPeasant · 21/09/2013 19:01

Merk Grin I feel kind of fatalistic about it but really, really appreciate all your kind support of this thread.

Bunnygirlie · 21/09/2013 19:46

Hello hello!

boodle you haven't missed much, no BFPs, but a few of us have had FC
appts!

kitty it's a tricky thing deciding when to tell and who to tell things to!

RP thanks, am trying not to think about the op until I know when it is although my reflexologist freaked me out today when she told me all about the gas!

yorkie Crikey this TTC malarkey is pricey!

It's been a lovely bright autumnal day today Smile I pottered around, had some lunch, we both had reflexology and now chilling with some low alco pink fizz whilst a fab casserole is cooking!

SidneyBristow · 21/09/2013 20:05

Another neg pg test this morning so on with the clomid tonight. Had done a post about it but Mn seems to have eaten it so suffice it to say I'm more
At ease than I have been in recent memory now that DH and I have out lives back under our control, but a trip through the John Lewis kids' section was harder to endure than it should've been - all those adorable outfits, no baby yet to put them in Confused went out to dinner in London tonight and the lady sat behind DH kept rubbing her huge bump all throughout the meal, and even DH said it was smug and annoying Shock nice to have a teammate again.

Really hoping the clomid and/or the monitoring is what'll do the trick; sad though that our days of trying naturally are over. Seems so final. x
Sorry for typos; a few mojitos & on a train = not the easiest typing experience.

Ps Merk we're about to pass through your station!! Grin

SidneyBristow · 21/09/2013 20:06

Charming can't wait to hear about how you're settling in to your school year, and what's next for you guys TTC-wise x

Boodle9 · 21/09/2013 21:08

Hope the FC appointments went ok for everyone. How was the dildocam experience, Bunny?!

RP, hope it's not AF setting in and actually, your spotting is signs of more promising things. You sound like me though with the temps - as soon as mine start to drop I know it's game over for another month.

My temps have confused me today - CD11 and they were rather high. I'm slightly alarmed that I may have already ovulated and not dtd once! (Did do it this pm, but that's too late if the temps were up this morning.) I'm trying to convince myself it's just the effect of having the heating on even though it made absolutely no difference last year.

Bunnygirlie · 21/09/2013 21:40

Hey sid yay to the mojitos Smile but I know how you feel about being sad that the natural days are over

boodle dildocam was fine, I have never minded smears either, it's just a necessary evil if you know what I mean!

Sorry no advice on temps, I don't do temping

CharmingCats · 21/09/2013 22:13

Well then! (as I write, DH is confusing one cat by playing kitten sounds on his iPad. She is trying to get into the iPad to find the kitten. Very distracting).
boodle I've done 13 hour days this week and 4 hours today. I'll be working all day tomorrow. Let us unite on the treadmill.
sid glad your scheduling nightmare is ending and that you have your teammate again.
School is hard. The class is very challenging and not what I was led to believe. There are some very special needs, that would be comical if I didn't have to manage them. Got one put on the list for the next educational psychologist visit. Shocked that no-one had done this before. There are 6 or 7 who will just not comply and some very bright ones and everyone in between. My colleagues are great. I get a few arriving in the classroom and telling children off spontaneously. Others come in and hug me while I'm teaching! I'm getting time to observe and team teach and the deputy is coming in to watch me to give me some tips. Could be worse, but has taken over my life.
Have had two dildocams in the last fortnight, for my monitored cycle. No ov by cd30, so clomid will begin next cycle. I haven't had any boob tenderness or cm or other signs I've had the last couple of cycles, so I don't think my cycle will end soon.

The lovely fc seems to think it'll take at least a couple of cycles of clomid, but that I may respond better to injectibles. He wants to try the softest option first. Which is fine by me.
Had a lovely consult with a dermatologist today, who guessed I was ttc when I mentioned metformin. He was so sympathetic and asked how long we'd been trying and said to try to stay as relaxed as possible, but that it is a very stressful time. Felt he actually understood and wasn't saying 'just relax and you'll get diffed', but more try to relax for your own good, but it's not easy.
Haven't dtd at all in September as I've been so stressed, even at weekends. Will try this weekend (didn't even have time to cut my toenails last weekend and now they are gross).
Love to you all. May even brave your fb group, if one of you gives me the password....

BlindKitty · 21/09/2013 22:26

yorkie I had daily injections of menopur which I think was fsh and lh so my eggs were more mature. Don't worry about the injections (I'm assuming you are as I did) as they're easy peasy! Think gonal f works in a similar way. Considering you have been told you had multicystic ovaries in the past maybe this is the right treatment for you but if it isn't you always have the nhs plan

bunny I'm such a blabber mouth, I've never had that issue! I really should learn to keep stuff to myself though lol

rp I've still got brown spotted discharge you know....just saying....;-)

Bunnygirlie · 21/09/2013 23:10

Ooh charming come over to the dark side Wink I can't add you on the iPad but I assume I can on the laptop so I can try tomorrow unless somebody can do it sooner.

Good to hear you have a lovely FC too Smile sounds like life is a little stressful for you at the mo, hope it calms down a tad!

Bad kitty lol

Boodle9 · 21/09/2013 23:30

Charming, it sounds like there's a really good support structure in place at least. Your class sound very similar to what I had last year; you WILL survive and my goodness will you appreciate your next class! (Assuming they're not as bad!) if ever you want to vent about them, I have a sympathetic ear! Get yourself in the Facebook group then you don't have to worry about slagging them off on a public forum! (I know I promised I wouldn't, but naughty Kitty persuaded me to join it! Grin)

BlindKitty · 22/09/2013 06:07

Hmm I'm liking these gentle persuasion tactics....muhahaha!

RevoltingPeasant · 22/09/2013 09:26

AF Sad

Bunnygirlie · 22/09/2013 09:26

Morning! How are we all today?

yorkiebilb · 22/09/2013 09:55

Oh no rb bloody AF! Sorry to hear that.

Hey bunny you sound chirpy this morning! I'm a bit grr as had to get out of bed at 6.30 to go watch DH do a trail run and now surrounded by mums and babies and premenstrual. The things we do for our other halves! Consoling myself with cake and coffee and suggest you do the same rb

sid glad to read that things have got better for you at home. You sound much happier. When do you start with the clomid?

kitty how did you guess about the injections! I watch a YouTube vid yesterday and it freaked me out a bit! Like many people I can't bear to look when they take blood from me. I'm sure it will be fine after the first one though.

Bunnygirlie · 22/09/2013 10:14

Booo RP that's crappy!

yorkie I don't feel that chirpy, have a horrendous sore throat Sad

Really wanted to have a 'prettify me' day, dye my hair, paint nails etc and start to shake away the gloom but just wanna stay in bed lol

yorkiebilb · 22/09/2013 10:23

Have some of my Cake then bunny

CharmingCats · 22/09/2013 11:37

Oh no, RP ! sorry she got you.
yorkie I'm planning to have a prettify day too. Well, hour or two. In my case, I just need to cut my nails! But painting sounds good.
bunny I'll pm you my fb details......
DH has gone out and left me to my work until 4pm when we can have our weekend. I've nearly finished apart from the laminating, so hoping to get some me time too!
Will be back later. Have good afternoons x

Bunnygirlie · 22/09/2013 13:12

Oh gawd! Just watched Friends, the ep where Chandler and Monica find out they are unlikely to ever have children, now in bits Sad
