If it's implantation I think you are probably able to test in about 2-3 days.... !!! Eek actually think you should wait til 7th/8th to poas with me lol!

mama31 · 31/08/2013 16:45

I'm just worried it's another freakin af!!!!! Haven't been bk to the loo to check yet as I've just painted my nails so have to wait til they dry lol (avoidance)

mrsmummytobe · 31/08/2013 16:55

Lol good tactic! I don't know how long implantation bleeding lasts for but even if you did get a bit more it still could be I think

mama31 · 31/08/2013 17:07

Hope your right mummytobe!!! How's your symptom spotting going?? I think I'm just freaked out as was quite shocked when I saw the stain....wasn't expecting it!! Lol

Oh well time will tell and I guess your right if it is I could prob use a wee cheapie test in a few days!! Then I'd be trying to get you to join me.. Haha!

DisneyDiva87 · 31/08/2013 17:07

I'm in SuperDrug and I don't have time to look for a early response pg test. -sobs-

mama31 · 31/08/2013 17:08

Ok I'm off to the loo my nails have dried so must check out the latest....

mama31 · 31/08/2013 17:09

Disney...your online in superdrug?! Hillarious!!!!

englishteacher78 · 31/08/2013 17:12

Even though I'd already had EWCM this cycle about a week or so ago, I had it again today. Is my body being weird again or is that normal?

mrsmummytobe · 31/08/2013 17:13

I haven't noticed any major symptoms. I have been finding it really hard to sleep though for some reason. The last couple of days I've woken up about 5am & found it really hard to get back to sleep :-/

leezl · 31/08/2013 17:16

Well done keepswimming! That's such a great loss!
Mama I hope it is implantation! You must be so excited/nervous!

I spoke to DH this morning and we agreed on DTD every other day this month. I'm concerned about him becoming anxious/bored with it all, and I do so want to keep him on-side!!

We went out for lunch with my dad today (those in the Harvester club, I had the cauliflower cheese and tomato tart and it was AMAZING). I haven't had much contact with him for the last two years and this is the second time we've met up recently. Trying to rekindle our relationship slowly. Anyway, when DH was in the toilet my dad asked me outright whether we'd thought about starting a family!! I was so shocked I must have sounded flustered but I said that we weren't quite ready yet (I'm recovering from a long term illness) but that I would like to start soon. Believable? Lol when I was showing him something on my phone earlier on, one of those damn Fertility Friend emails popped up so I wonder if he saw that. I'm trying very hard to keep this a secret - I've only told two or three friends, and they are "online" friends. I certainly don't want our families to find out until we are well into the first trimester. It isn't that I think they would disapprove (we've been married two years, together for seven, DH has a stable job, I'm being discharged from the hospital this month, etc), but I just don't feel comfortable having "real life" people knowing. Plus it's lovely having such a big secret all to ourselves!

Can anyone relate?

DisneyDiva87 · 31/08/2013 17:20

I was mama! Lol. The power of the smart phone! I went to SuperDrug and thought of all you lovely ladies

CoffeeGuzzler · 31/08/2013 17:24

Disney Keeping fingers crossed for you.

owlie i can't begin to imagine how frustrated you must be feeling. It's terribly unfair that there is such a short of window to get pregnant. Well done you for keeping the pressure off your dh though. Do you think broaching the topic gently would help?

I just wanted to tell everyone that I have finally got my fixed smiley. On cd18 and after 9, yes nine, days of the blasted flashing smiley. Yay, I ovulate I ovulate. I'm so happy anyone would think I just got a bfp.

High five jaykay Grin

Off to jump dh now.

DisneyDiva87 · 31/08/2013 17:29

Completely leezl. I've not really told anyone cause I want it to be something for us to enjoy and because it can take a long time and it's not going to be nice if you have to explain to all your family and friends that you can't. Although hubby told the world and his wife so most of my friends have prob heard but haven't mentioned anything to me which is nice if they do know. I could throttle hubby for telling people but then I'd need to find a new sperm donor Grin

leezl · 31/08/2013 17:36

Bahahaha Disney! I think my DH is more nervous about telling his parents than I am to tell mine!
I was concerned about having to let people down if it takes a long time for us, and their expectation causing us stress. I'm so glad I have you guys to talk to though because I need to obsess with somebody ha!

CoffeeGuzzler · 31/08/2013 17:47

leezl I couldn't agree more on being able to obsess with you guys. Nobody really understand the frustrations of ttc unless they are in the same shoe. The amount of crazy lady behaviour I've been indulging in about this whole pregnancy thing, I'm surprised that I hold down a job.

Owlie84 · 31/08/2013 17:49

Haha, I get that leezl! We got married earlier this year, and neither of our parents have any dgc, so all eyes are on us! Blush although circumstances being what they are, neither of us has told anyone we're ttc.

I'm going to persevere and pretend everything is great and he has nothing to worry about. We talked last night, and he says that he's scared to let me down. We're really bad at communicating feelings, but just great at talking about everything else!

mama31 · 31/08/2013 18:04

Ok so no further bleeding as yet....promising??

justhayley · 31/08/2013 18:39

Good luck mama - sounds promising to me. Grin

mama31 · 31/08/2013 18:47

Thanks justhayley-feeling quite nervous now lol

DisneyDiva87 · 31/08/2013 18:51

Not even a damn evap line Hmm. I don't want to give up hope but I think I should...

Choccywoccydodah · 31/08/2013 18:52

Purple, omg, fingers crossed this is it for you! Sounds very promising!

Hayley, yes the cheap tests keep their lines, I still have both of mine from ds Grin

Mama sounds like implantation to me! I had brown then a few days later it was slightly pink.

Good luck Disney! And everyone else symptom spotting.

Ds currently in the bath, he is so frikkin cute it's unreal. I want another one now!!!

Eek this bus is getting exciting!! GrinGrin

Choccywoccydodah · 31/08/2013 18:52

Duff test Disney?

PurpleGeekyGirl · 31/08/2013 19:14

Thanks choccy I'm trying so hard not to hope! I'm off to see my mum for a few days and won't take any tests with me so if af / cramps havent arrived I will test on wed at 12dpo. Just mentioned to do there might be a chance and he's excited now too. Hope I don't disappoint.

And if I am upduffed I need a name that means something in welsh for tent, lake or mountain lol!

DisneyDiva87 · 31/08/2013 19:18

Must have been choccy. It's definitely the tests fault And not that I'm just not pregnant!

Choccywoccydodah · 31/08/2013 19:20

I had a test with no evap line, I tested the next day as I was away from home at the time and only took a few with me, and 2 days later I got a positive Smile

Purple, welsh for hill is Bryn, Garth, Bre. Lake is Llyn Smile
