Daisy it def makes it a bit easier to tell a few close friends, it stops the "are you planning on having another one soon" question every few days.
Only thing about telling is they may ask you every month if your pregnant and when your BFP finally arrives it's harder to lie.
My 3 closest friends are all pregnant - one of which POAS in my bathroom just 5 weeks ago. At this point she didn't know how hard iv been TTC, when I told her a few weeks ago she felt super guilty for asking me to hold her hand whilst she peed, which wasn't what I wanted. I text her the pic of my v faint BFP or LSP (little slim positive) as it is at the moment, yesterday amd she's SO excited, hopefully not prematurely.
With DS1 I was at high risk of MC until 16 weeks, we told parents at 12 weeks, close friends at 16 and everyone else at 20 when I couldn't really hide it any longer, and accepted my LO was a sticker
This time im ready to burst, iv already told my 2close friends, & may have to tell another as I'm a bridesmaid in 2 weeks & not sure how the I'm not drinking at your wedding because X excuse will go down. Really hope I'm not disappointed on Monday. Think thinking iv got a BFP which ends up a BFN will be worse for me than the usual monthly BFN.
Iv done a bit of calculating with my extra long cycles I think I ovulated on CD24 this month, which would already make me 5 weeks. Can't go by LMP as that was ages ago and iv done a fair few tests since then. If I went by my LMP with DS1 I would have been due to give birth when I got my BFP lol.
DP is home in 5 weeks - if I'm already 4/5 weeks it seems crazy to wait till 10 weeks before he knows, but can't imagine having the conversation over the phone. Especially if something went wrong between then and now.
Also really don't think I could keep it a secret for that long it's killing me already and I'm not even sure.
Thinking I may send him the test in the post? Think the non digital ones keep their lines? Or could cheat and felt tip a line on the test so he understands.
Before he left I asked him if he'd want me to tell him whilst away if we got our BFP and he said Yes then No then yes then I don't no - really helpful! After so long don't think we really thought it would happen this month. I booked myself an appointment with the GP for next week to try and get treatment going so we'd have a better chance when he gets back in October.
Good Luck to everyone POAS this weekend, if I can get pregnant with all my problems you girls can too
