Last few months I have got a positive OPK around cd20.
Just found out DH is away at a conference on 16th and 17th which is cd21 and cd22

So stressed out! Gonna have to dtd loads leading up to his departure!

Hope you can still access MN whilst you're away for two reasons, 1) as mama said we will be desperate to know how you're getting on and 2) imagine how long it will take you to catch up on all our natter if you're away for two whole weeks!!

Completely understand your frustration when it's circumstances out of your control, my hubby was due to be away for my fertile bit this month and I was so stressed out about it so I feel your pain. Thankfully they moved the week he's going away to the end of the Month, fx you get the same luck but if not i'm sure if you try to do the bd lots before he goes you'll be in with a good chance

Hi all! Well, I'm on cd9 but have had faint lines on my OPKs for three days now. Dunno what that means?? Think my cervix is quite high and soft (not that I'm entirely sure what I'm looking for...) but it seems too early to be approaching ovulation?

Faint lines mean nothing jones, it's only when both lines are as dark as each other it counts with OPKs

Okay,thank you. Last month I had no lines at all except for when I was ovulating so this month is confusing me a bit, ha ha!

Hi jaykay, I considered whether to drink etc in the 2ww was quite strict for the first few cycles and then decided i needed to relax. I spoke to my consultant today at an appt and he said there is no evidence social drinking can do any harm before you get a BFP and just be sensible. The bean isn't connected to your bloodstream until the uterus is developed so there is no transfer. He is a consultant that deals in miscarriages so I trust his judgement as he is cautious about other things - hope that helps you ! X

Evening all!! Just checking in before i leave work, late one for me today.

Leezl aand cheesy - i did 10 days of each level on 30 day shred. Started to get the hang of each level on day 8! Found the cardio bits the hardest - jumping jacks skipping etc. Who knew skipping was so hard??

The ttc hysteria is mounting for me. Seem to follow a pattern when i get very obsessed in the dtd bit, tails off for a week or so then builds up again just before af is due. 20 whole days til next time!!! I shall fill my time with dtd as much as poss. Distract myself.

Notta that's really good going - I found the weights part the hardest, thought my weedy arms were going to drop off! Also I did the 'easy' pushups ... omg, not easy for me!

I should stop talking about exercise and actually do some - will start tomorrow, I absolutely will!

Found a site called 2 week wait!! Now I'm obsessed..... It has all the symptoms people had in their 2 wk wait.....I could just read and read and read....and of course obsessing that I have some of those symptoms lol

No sign of a bfp for me! Apart from all my symptom spotting and that one test that had a line on it!!! So frustrating! But will test again friday if no sign of af! I'm exhausted today....haven't managed to move from sofa since got home from work and can't be bothered doing anything!

Notta - yup did Spartan. Got an awesome medal and technical tee.
They didn't have the electrocution so it was just running, climbing and avoiding barbed wire! My group of people got caked in mud but most others only had muddy trainers. We had more fun I think

I've just done an opk. I've been doing them for the last 3 days and only one line. Tonight, I have a faint second line, which i know is still negative, but does that mean I'm getting close to ov? I've never done these before!! I'm on cd15. Ta!

Yup, Sunday. This Sunday it's a nice little 10km road race - much more civilised - medal won't be as good though.

at least you still have a chance mama. U sit there and rest :)
